I recently moved to a new state and have a new internet provider (AT&T - yuck)...
And my email for my Apple account doesn't work, I get this message when sending a message:
Enter Password for Account
"smtp.att.yahoo:bretbennett"
The SMTP server “smtp.att.yahoo.com” rejected the password for user “bretbennett”
Please re-enter your password, or cancel.
Please help me, anyone.

Sounds like your Mail setting may need fixing. Have you tried

I recently moved to a new city and have switched from Sympatico as my internet provider, to Eastlink. Since the switch I cannot send mail from the Mail program.
Neither one of my email accounts is a sympatico based account (one is gmail, one is a work address with a smaller provider), but I'm wondering if the switch could be the issue since I've never had problems before. I have run a connection doctor and the only account the comes up with a problem is the W3 Connex service provider, both the gmail outgoing and incoming mail server claimed to be working fine (but still I cannot send msg with this address).
Do I need to set up my SMPT server to correspond with my new service provider or with the email providers? This is really frustrating as I cannot send anything with my work address and have to log on to Gmail's web page to send anything with that address...

For every new internet provider, if you want unauthenticated e-mail sending you usually must use the internet provider's own SMTP server. Most internet service providers these days don't allow third party SMTP servers without some form of authentical and/or special port addressing. If you have a particular sendmail server you want to use regardless of your location, check with the owner of that server whether they use port 587 or 2626 and use e-mail address and your e-mail password to do password authentication into that server. That will allow you to use it anywhere. The primary reason they do this is to avoid being blamed for spam.

Cableone innstalled a new server and now my thunderbird email will not work. What do I do now?

Cableone, our internet provider, has changed from a Google server to their own server and now my Thunderbird email will not work. They have directions listed to make it work, but this does not work. I have also contacted Cableone's technical support and they say because thunderbird is not their system they have no responsibility to make it work. Ask your less than helpful provider for the server settings and setup the new account up manually.
You want to know IMAP or POP and the name of the server. The port number and if it uses SSL/TLS security.
You need the same info for the SMTP server for outbound mail.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Changing your ISP may cause some issues but not so far as I am aware a problem with it connecting to your TV.
Have you changed anything else, what troubleshooting steps have you taken so far.

I have changed to a new internet provider, and they configured my router (which was working fine previously with my Apple devices)
It is a D-Link router, and it is connected to the internet via PPPOE. (previous provider did not have this PPPOE configuration)
The technician did the configuration and the Wifi works fine for all my devices including laptops, and friends who use Android.
My Iphone, Ipad, and my friends' ones are the only things that seem not to work correctly.
They can find the network on the router. It then connects for a short time, then either after a few mins of browsing on Safari, or any attempt to download an App or update an App, it fails.
To summarise - All non-apple devices function fine and connect to router. Apple Iphones and Ipads find and connect to Wifi, but the internet works temporarily on browser, and any App update or download will fail. (Wi-fi remains connected)
I am hoping it is a simple router configuration issue and the installation technician missed something. Has anyone ever come across this?
what I have tried - Rebooting router, restarting Ipad, resetting network settings and other things, but I am almost certain it is a router configuration thing.
Just hope someone can help, because I have called my internet provider and if they will charge for a call-out if they find it is not ''their fault'.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. Your iCloud login is an Apple ID, and if you go to http://appleid.apple.com you can change the ID to another non-Apple email address that has never been associated with an Apple ID. You cannot change it to your @icloud.com address.

The following article provides further information and could very well help get your Apple TV and your television cooperating again.
If HDCP authentication does not succeed, you may see one of the following symptoms:
A message may appear on your television stating "This content requires HDCP for playback. HDCP isn't supported by your HDMI connection."
You may see periodic bands of static, or full screen static, flashing across your TV screen.
If you are experiencing either of the symptoms above, try playing the same content again for at least another 10 seconds. If the issue persists, try the following steps until the issue is resolved:
Connect your Apple TV (2nd generation) directly to your HDTV using an HDMI cable.
Set your Apple TV and HDTV to off or sleep mode
From the Apple TV interface, select: Settings -> Sleep Now.
Turn off your TV and wait for about 10 seconds.
Turn your TV back on.
Press the Select button on your Apple TV remote to wake your Apple TV.
Some HDTVs may need a firmware update. Consult your TV manufacturer's user manual or online support pages for additional information about how to update your TV's firmware.
If available, try using a different HDMI to HDMI cable, such as an Apple HDMI to HDMI cable, directly between your Apple TV (2nd generation) and 720p HDCP-compatible HDTV.

You don't. Mirroring is duplicating your ipad screen on another projector - so you can't have another app going on your iPad without it also showing up on the projected image. Some apps are designed so that you see a different image in the iPad than the mirrored out display, but even then you're within the app itself.

Hmmm, Norton extensions are broken again in Firefox 4.0.1. It seems that Norton didn't allow for Firefox 4.0 security updates when they updated their Firefox extension for Firefox 4.0. Norton says they'll have a fix in two weeks. A Norton user posted a fix in this forum thread.

What you should have done is immediately turn the phone off, then put it in a ziploc bag of dried rice after you wiped all visible moisture off the phone. Leave it in the ziploc bag for 3 ~ 4 days, then turn it on & hope things work OK. It may be too late to try the dry rice trick now, but you can give it a shot if you like.
Apple does have an out of warranty replacement program, cost in the US is $199 for the 4S & $149 for other models.

HT3180 The internet provider reset my router and now my apple Tv does not work in netflix i get ATV-ui10 error and when i perform a network test it works fine but no movies are coming up on the screen and you cannot select anything.

The internet provider reset my router and now I cannot use Apple Tv. I tired restore and reseting the apple tv and the Network test is fine. Netflix shows error atv-ui10 and you no movies come up it just shoes black tickets at the top of the screen and says i am not connect. Internet works fine.

Delete/forget the network connection on the ATV and reconnect to the network.
Power cycle the router.
