i have not been able to send emails for some time but in the last two days ive stopped being able to receive, the message says 'username or password incorrect' ive checked all the settings, ive deleated accout and set up again, ive rebooted phone. i tried to sync with pc but this also fails any ideas
That is correct, They don't seem to know about Mac, never got a single scrap of help from them. Try recreating your account from scratch, delete the account, (write down all your settings first) and add an account, see if that works, and if it does, delete the first account to prevent things doubling up on you. I think that's what I did, it was quite a while ago. Hope this helps, or gets you pointed in the right direction. Maybe go to At&t and try creating another account, and if ti works, delete the first.
One other tihing I did was to reset Safari, as AT&T uses the net, that's about all I can remember, like I said it was awhile ago. -
Whether I am responding to an email or composing a new one I have not been able to consistently send emails since I downloaded FF. Once or twice I managed to send one but do not know why they went through since typically do not get past the technical problem message. The error always says there is a technical problem but does not specify the actual problem.

I live in Australia and use Optusnet.com.au as my ISP. I am now in Europe and in the UK (wireless connection to BT Openzone) and in France (wireless connection to Orange) have been able to receive emails but not send any (except to optusnet.com.au addresses). This is true for my iPad 3 and iPhone 4. I can send email using Safari and webmail but as I receive emails in various languages cannot read most of them in webmail. This is really frustrating. Can anyone help? Thanks. Miles
it would had been possible if u were accessing data through optus sim card with global roaming active which will then incur massive data charges

Until recently I have been able to retrieve all messages not deleted i m mailbox "inbox". Today I can only retrieve messages from 9/10/13 to present. How can i retreive all previously sent messages that were not deleted?
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Tap the account in question > Mail days to sync - increase the time to sync.

I can open my hotmail address and download emails but cannot reply or forward. When I try to do so I just get a blank when try to type a reply.
The new version of Hotmail requires at least Firefox 3. Unfortunately Firefox 3 will not run on your version of Windows. You could use IE 6 to access Hotmail, or another option is to set up POP3 access via an email program.

Help! I have recently updated LR5 and before doing so I was able to email files to clients! (Very Convenient) Now my problem is I have not been able to get pass this error message reading "failed to send" which gives no further detail about what to do to rectify the situation. Someone please guide me through this! Thanks in advance!
Did this ever get resolved, as I am having the same issue. Trying to learn LR5 AFTER a decade using Aperture. I was able to set up a validated account but when I try to send an e-mail or photo I get the simple " Failed to Send " message. Using latest version of Mac OS X.

I have an old iPhone 3Gs with software version 4.3.5, I am trying to use it again, and it works fine, but I have not been able to update the software. Every time I try, I get the following message:
"there was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone, the network connection could not be established". This happens even though I have a working internet connection.
Besides that, all the other functions work properly, even synchronize apps and library.
Will I be able to update the software?look around the forum tons of people repport that they can't update

I have not been able to verify my iCloud account as the verification has been sent to a previous now defunct email address! How do I get iCloud to send the verification email to my present email address?
If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.

If not then you will either have to enter card details (you should be able to remove them after entering them), or create a new account (using the instructions on the above link). -
I bought my iPad mini two weeks ago and used my apple ID to make it sync with my iPhone. But so far I have not been able to activate iMessage and face time. It only gives me the option of signing in and when I do that I get an error message telling me that either my user name or password for my email is incorrect; even though I have been using my correct my apple ID in the password entry area. My apple ID works for every thing else. Please, can you help in this case?

Two days ago I logged on to Firefox. I recieved a message that told me that I was using an out dated version. I had to up grade . I followed the instruction and when finished fire fox crashed. I am unable to delete firefox, reload it, or use it. I am forced to use Internet Explorer to use my computer. I have lost my book marked sites, and I am at a loss as how to retrieve what I have lost. I have tried to follow the instructions to fix the problem but I have not been able to fix the problem. I sent the crash information but recieved no responce.

Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID? -
Like so many others I have not been able to access or send emails on iCloud. This is now loosing me business! Not Good enough Apple and your lack of information is poor customer service.
Unfortunately, Apple does not yet allow merging of Apple ID's. if you were once using [email protected] as your Apple ID then there is no way to link that ID with the new one to avoid losing the previous data under that old ID. You will have to either go back to using the old ID to save the old data or just keep both, which you arfe allowed to do.
