You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

That aside (still working on it), can you offer any direction in regards to my original question on SDK and AIR compatibility? I have created a fillable form using Adobe Acrobat Pro that contains several data fields with some feeding data to a barcode in the document. I have a "button" set up to save and send the completed form one it is completed. Some of the user are having troubles filling out the form as they are using various programs to do such as iBook, Adobe Reader, etc.... Sometimes the information is not transferred to the barcode and sometimes the "submittal button" doesn't function properly.

Best option is to use Adobe Reader (or Acrobat, of course) on a desktop computer (ie, not on a mobile device). Any other configuration is likely to be problematic.

Aw geez, they sure have messed up OSX.
Do you have a backup of 10.8.2?
Maybe...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS.

Make sure the pdf has the '.pdf' extension on the file name. I've seen this a few times and adding the extension usually solves the problem.

If the document is not a scanned image or protected from editing then you should be able to edit it. I would have to guess you have a scan and when you converted to Word, you ran OCR (Optical Character Recognition) on it converting the scanned image to live text.

i didnt replace the screen on my verizon iphone, but i have had several problems in the past with restoring, however they are always easily solved for me by plugging into another computer and restoring from there once its restored off that computer you can then plug back into your computer and put your info back on.
also remember to copy the ipsw from your iphone software updates folder onto a flash drive and onto the computer you are using to update to save yourself form downloading the ipsw on that computer (if it is not already on that computer). then just do an option restore by holding option key when you hit restore and select the ipsw you want to restore to.
