Have problem with Dictionary entries.
When I type a word in Dictionary - intergrated software in Tiger,
The entries are shown with broken fonts. They might be messed up with wrong encoding, I think.
I use Korean for my system language and I changed that to English but it doesn't work for that. I look into the Dictionary.app and noticed the application is kind of css + xml thing. So I changed the default encoding of Safari to UTF-8
but it doesn't work, too.
What's wrong with the application?

I continue to have problems with text entry with Android 4.1.2 -- Any word on an update?
When my phone (Droid 4: I like the physical keyboard, which seems to be going the way of the dodo) was upgraded to 4.1.2 a while back, the following happened:
-- Spell check disappeared from text entry using any browser;
-- Auto-complete started losing track of where I was in a sentence, so hitting backspace deleted entire words instead of the last character typed;
-- The Swype keyboard ceased to function.
As a result, I had to give up on many of the spell-check features and give up on the Swype keyboard.
I'm really hoping that an update is forthcoming, and further, that it will fix the issues with the last one.
Anyone have any idea?I have not installed any third party messaging apps or keyboard functionality apps, at least not intentionally. I rebooted in Safe Mode and all symptoms are the same. I tested it by going to Google Translate, which has a web input window. Spell check was inactive, Swype was capitalizing every word, making it basically useless.
A symptom that I failed to mention continues to be present in Safe Mode also – when hitting the shift key and backspacing, the selected text is not highlighted, so I basically have to guess what I’ve selected, and only find out if I’m right once I hit backspace or start typing in replacement text.
Spell check was inactive in third party applications also, for example Quick Office. It did show up in Gmail. I was unable to duplicate any application getting lost in terms of where the cursor is so that I deleted the wrong text; however, this is an intermittent problem, so I would probably have to do a lot of typing, etc., to duplicate it. However, I have seen other posts complaining about phone behavior very similar to what I reported.
Bottom line – The phone acted precisely the same in Safe Mode as it did outside of Safe Mode.

When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Since i upgrade to Yosemite i have problems with my Mac.
Since i upgrade to Yosemite i have problems with my Mac. Its brand new and i miss Maverics.
Yosemite is slow. The screen goes black and restart suddenly. Reports errors all the time.
How can i solve the problem and goes back to Maverics?
Please help...Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:

Quit Bridge, from user library (NOT system and root library) preferences folder find and delete the com.adobe.bridge5.plist file manual. Do this also in same user library caches folder (Caches/Adobe/Bridge CS6) and inhere find and the folder called 'cache' and drag it to the trash.

Get a micro-SIM from the carrier in Mexico that you don't have to manually cut down. If that carrier doesn't provide one, switch to another carrier that is not so low-budget. -

If Join was on then your home wi-fi must be set to Non-Broadcast. If you did not set this up (maybe your provider did) then you will need to find the Network Name they used, and any password they used. The SSID is Security Set ID and to see more try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSID . Basically it is the name used to identify your router/network. A lot of times the installer will leave it set as LinkSys, or Broadcom or whatever the manufacturer set it as for default. Your best bet is to get whoever installed it to walk you through how they set it up, giving you id's and passwords so you can get in. HOWEVER, if you are not comfortable with this (if you set security wrong, etc.) you would be well ahead of the game to hire a local computer tech (networking) to get this working for you. You can also contact the vendor of your router and get help (if it is still in warranty), or at least get copies of the manuals as pdf files. Sorry I can't give you more help, I hope this gives you an idea where to go from here to find more.
