Have PSE already...Bought PSE 13. Question.

I have PSE 11.. I just bought PSE 13. Do I need to uninstall the PSE 11 before installing PSE 13? What about the organizer? I have never used it, but do I need to back it up or anything before I load PSE13?

There are several iPad apps that can read and write Excel files or Excel-compatible files. Numbers is one, and I use it on both my MBP and my iPad, though not heavily on either. I also use Excel on the Mac, and because I'm used to it, I prefer it to Numbers, which works a bit differently.
I would be leery of buying an iPad to use as a substitute for a computer. Typing on it is very inefficient unless you use an external keyboard, and no Mac or Windows software runs on it -- only iOS software. You must use a computer to move files onto and off it, organizing them on it is difficult, and if you don't have a network printer you can't print from it. I dearly love my iPad 2, but it's an adjunct to my heavily-used MBP, not a substitute for one.

Hello, I have been experiencing similar problems and followed the suggestion and yes, the raw icon comes up as illustrated but there is nothing there to indicate any further action can be taken. So I am presuming that means it is installed and no further action required?
Here's my problem: I have had no problems getting my pics into my organiser in Elements 12 from either my Nikon D7100 or my Fujifilm X100S - until last week. Suddenly when they are imported all I see is the timer icons but they don't open to let me view them. If I click on one it will open and I can then edit it but it will not save an image onto the grid for me to view so it's really frustrating not being able to view all my photos in order to decide what to edit and compare them.
Here's what action I've taken so far - restarted the computer (endlessly), checked the updates and installed them, checked I have the latest raw plug in (I do) and gone into edit/update thumbnail (doesn't do a thing) - and torn out a fair amount of my hair. So anyone out there experienced this and can give me some advice? Please?

I have been updating my PSE since 10. Recently I purchased PSE13 as I didn't see an update for my 12. I was changing to a new laptop as my old laptop had been patched and worked and was showing signs of giving out. It was a Window's 7OS. My new one is a Windows 8 OS so I bought the 13 and downloaded it on the new laptop. Our desktop had died so I downloaded the 13 on the new desk computer also. Not thinking I downloaded 13 on my old laptop as I hope to get it patched up enough to be a backup for my photography. When I tried to activate it I realized that I had downloaded it too often. I didn't know you could only use it on two computers. Learn something new every day.. Any way I removed it and now my PSE 12 does not seem to be working. Now it could be something that I did or something that is an issue with the laptop. this laptop has all the previous editions on board as I always tried to update, except for the year I got a really good deal on Black Friday. I also notice that the new laptop has a copy of PSE 12 in the program list. To my knowledge I have never deactivated any of my PSE's except the extra 13 downloaded. Bottom line, do I need to go in and deactivate previous PSE versions and removed them from my computer? I could certainly use the space and secondly, can I deactivate the PSE 12 and then go back and reacitivate it and install it again on the old laptop or the desktop, whichever I deside would be the most appropriate place for the newer program. For the PSE 12 since it is an updater for 11, does the 11 still need to be on the laptop? thanks for anyone who can understand what I am trying to say and can advise me as to my next move. photoshop elements is dual platform so your serial number for windows should work with the mac. just download the mac installation file and install with your serial number,

Bought PSE 12, installed, broke computer, new computer cannot reinstall

I am fed up...it's a simple problem and there seems to be nothing but circular logic. I bought PSE 12 (actually upgraded since I have had 9,10 and11 as well) I installed it and had no problem on my old macbook pro. Then I killed my laptop and have a new one. I cannot get the program to reinstall. A few days ago before I gave up in frustration I was told to install the trial and then put in my code to open the full one...that led to some jibberish about needing to update the system. Could I figure all of this out if I had hours to spend running in circles? yes, but I don't .Is there not some straightforward way to install a program I own on a new laptop I own? Like steps 1,2 and 3? Help. I am trying to do a minor project for a friend and am stumped...not to mention aggravated...

Since Lion came pre installed on your Mac, the App Store doesn't not recognize that as a purchase so you if you want to re download Lion to create a boot disk you will have to pay for it. You can then re download Lion on all your authorized Macs for free.

Try going into store then entring apple ID along the bottom...there's a tap for hidden downloads, slide finger across to unhidden then it should come bak into your library. Hope it works it did for me .

It is possible that you downloaded the Creative Cloud trial of Lightroom. The perpetual license key will not work. Uninstall the version on the second computer, this will not interfere with your catalog, preferences and personal files.
Download the appropriate version from the link below and install, your license key will be accepted and everything will be fine.

iTunes Plus is the name for the option in iTunes that allows customers to buy music at the iTunes Store that is free from digital rights management, or DRM.
Digital Rights Management, or DRM, is designed to prevent unauthorized sharing of files. This especially became a big concern for the music industry after the rise of Napster, Limewire, and Kazaa.
DRM, even the DRM used by Apple on iTunes Store content, prevented that. Apple's DRM allowed users to share files on only up to 5 computers.
According to TUAW, the new iTunes Plus songs have information embedded in them that identifies the user who bought and shared them by name.
This means that if you share your music and record companies want to track you down and sue for you copyright infringement, it's going to be easy.

Just tap on one of the in-app purchaseable instruments and at the bottom of the screen there will be a "Already purchase?" text. Just tap it and you will be asked for your user name and password (use the one that you bought Garage Band with). It worked for me.
