Have the external buttons/speaker/camera changed on the new iPad mini?

Easy question, I suspect. But I can't find the answer online. I'll buy a "retina" mini as soon as it becomes available. I'm thinking of going ahead and ordering a case. The case manufacturer assures me the current case will fit. I want to be sure.
Has any of the hardware changed on the new mini? Enough to necessitate a redesigned case? This would include, for example, different button placements, different speaker sizes, different camera placement, or grossly different iPad dimensions. Maybe the case consultant didn't know his/her [insert proper expletive].
I thank you, in advance, for your advice on this simple question. (Perhaps you may give me a link to a page containing the answer, showing me how my online search failed!)

Hi maggieanntb, your sister's Apple ID came up because an app(s) was downloaded using her account. To prevent that from happening, you would have to delete the app(s) that were downloaded on her's, and re-download them using your own Apple ID.

You can download other browsers that can identify as I.E. - such as Atomic and iCab Mobile - they have to be the full paid versions of ether browser though not the free lite versions. If you identify as IE. it will be much like using the desktop version - but .... you still cannot download any applications from the web. Only App Store, iTunes and iBookstore content can be installed and used on the iPad.

I have the 'new' iPad and it won't charge when I plug it into an electrical outlet. It has been charging fine up until last week.

There are probably three reasons your ipad might not charge:
1. The outlet is. It good. But you've already changed outlets so that may not be the likely cause. Just to be sure double check the outlets with another appliance to make sure the outlet has power.
2. The charger is bad. First make sure you are using the charger that came with your iPad. Then double check all your connections.
3. Your connector on the iPad may have dirt in it. Blow the dust out and try again.
If none of these work your iPad may be falty or you may need a new charger. Goto a apple store and have them check out your hardware.

I have a similar problem with ITunesU, I used to be able to access them from my car dock, but now they dont appear and the fwd/back buttons on the steering wheel wont affect them.
It seems taking them from ITunes into their own app has confused many other applications or dock connectors. Im going to try and remove the ITunesU app as I dont want to have lost the extra functionality

Try this:
Make sure you turn off the voyager ( red light) and then hold the power button until you see the alternating red and blue flashing light that indicates it is discoverable. Then go back to the iPad settings and you should see that it has discovered the voyager. Then select (touch where it says 'voyager') and it should pair.

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data and also Clear History
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

What OS do you have on your PC ? I assume that the video was taken with the iPad - if it was originally synced to the Photos app from a computer then you will need to use a third-party app such as Simple Transfer to copy it off, you can't copy off synced photos/videos via the camera wizard.
If it was taken with the iPad and you have XP on your PC then large videos may not be recognised by the windows camera wizard . If the camera wizard isn't recognising the video then you could try copying it from the iPad manually :
Note: Windows XP cannot import video files larger than 500 MB using Camera and Scanner Wizard. You can transfer these files directly from your device by selecting them in My Computer and dragging or copying the movie files to your computer's hard drive.
If you find that not all your photos were imported from your device's Camera Roll after performing the above steps, you can either copy the photos to your computer using Windows Explorer, or you can use additional software such as Windows Live Photo Gallery or Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 or later to import all pictures.
To copy the photos to your computer using Windows Explorer:
Connect the iOS device to the computer.
Choose Start > My Computer.
Double-click the logo for the device to browse its camera folders.
Navigate to [iOS device]\Internal Storage\DCIM\100APPLE.
Manually copy the content in this folder to your computer, wherever you would like to store it.
Disconnect your device. Open the Camera Roll and manually delete all the pictures from the iPhone Camera Roll that you just imported.

Many users have lost photos while preforming a restore from backup or upgrading the iOS. Recall, only photos in the camera roll are backed up to iCloud. There is a way to turn backups for camera roll on/off, perhaps these users had camera roll turned off.
Although the current devices don't have the photos, the following is advice for the future:
Settings>icloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage, tap the device's name and on the next screen, be sure Camera Roll is turned on.
IMPORTANT...
Photos should be regularly synced to a computer (like you store photos from a digital camera) using either USB via iTunes (on a mac use iPhoto or Aperture to move them to an album) or using photo stream. If you have been doing that, then you can sync those photos back to your device.
If you haven't been saving photos except relying on iCloud to store them in a backup, then that is risky, as many users have discovered. I'm afraid I have no advice in this case - there is no "cure".

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Is there a way to have the new ipad automatically connect to Wi-Fi or AT&T depending on what is available? For instance, I have the new ipad connected to the wi-fi in my office. While driving to work I connect using the AT&T network. When I walk into my office it does not automatically switch over to wi-fi. I have to physically go into settings and turn cellular off so that it doesn't use my AT&T data while I'm in a location that can use wi-fi. I am curious because my phone (not iphone) is connected to my wi-fi also and it automatically connects when I walk into my office so all my calls are free and then when the wi-fi signal is not in range is automatically goes back to the cellular network so I don't ever lose coverage. Can I set up the ipad to do that?

That is how your ipad is designed to work.
Maybe try resetting network settings. If all else fails you can do a back up and restore as new to be certain there is no issue with your software.
