Have to click to get the DOCK to Pop Up?

There have been several strange things that all of a sudden started happening?! When I place the Mouse or cursor over the Apple Button in the Upper Left Corner of the Screen, and Click on the Apple Button, the Drop down menu comes down. When I move my mouse down, before it use to highlight each item as i went down. It STOPPED doing this. BEFORE when I moved the Cursor of the menu it automatically went away. It no longer does this, it stays up and I have to click on the desktop to get it to go away.
This PROBLEM, has also affected the DOCK, I have to click on the BOTTOM of the Screen to get the Dock to POP up, then I have to click on it to go away. The Hide and pop up feature does not work anymore.
SOO FRUSTRATING!!! Can any one HELP!!!

• log out/in.This will reset the Dock to its default values, so you will have to reset the preferences for the dock.

Issue with switching spaces via clicking application in the dock

Hey guys,
Sometimes, not all the time, when I click on an application in the dock that has windows open in another space, it switches to the appropriate space, but with the application I clicked on not in the foreground. If I have other application windows open in that space, sometimes they occupy the foreground, and subsequently, the application I have clicked on on the dock is not in view. It is highly annoying when I click on the dock icon, to find that I have to go down and click on the dock icon a second time to bring the app into view. Does this happen to anyone else?

I've been upgrading from 10.5.8 to 10.6.4 last sunday. Since then, switching between different Spaces with Magic Mouse, i've got that issue of a third party application dedicated to Spaces number 6, and appearing also in background of Spaces 4 dedicated to Safari, or also in any free Spaces spot, when the application dedicated is not opened.
That didn't happened with Leopard, thanks a lot for the keyboard shortcut "Command + Tab".
Maybe a fix in 10.6.5 to come..

Do not seem to be able to backup iPad via iTunes on to my PC. Message after connecting is "iTunes was unable to load class information from Sync Services, Reconnect or try later" Have tried that but get the same result. Can anyone assist?

reboot
reload iTunes
NB hp is a relatively new machine and has previously backed up quite happily.

Try rebooting the iPad. Hold down both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. It takes a minute or two to restart.
Also be sure your iPad battery is not completely discharged.

I have tried a number of times to install the update and have failed getting the same message as you. Tried with the 32 bit instead & no luck. Ive come on here to see if anyone else has a solution & found we all have the same problem. Someone else tried the old uninstall reinstall trick to no avail. Please sort this out apple!!

Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:

(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?

I also uninstalled/reinstalled Microsoft.net Framework 4 since this was suggested by Apple support. This also has not resolved the issue.
When I reinstall I Tunes, I get a message that the “Service ‘apple mobile device’ failed to start.” Verify you have sufficient privileges to start system services. I attempted to manually start the Apple Mobile Device service but get a pop up stating, “Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.”Unsure what I should try next.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if one component, such as Apple Mobile Device Support, won't install normally.
In your case I suggest you start with a clean download of the setup file using the direct link. If reinstalling AMDS alone doesn't work try tearing everything down again.

When I type word to search in the Find box, Firefox will jump to the first grouping of letters it recognizes. I have to click back in the find box to continue typing my word. How can I make this stop?

I wanted to search for the word "medieval" on a web page. I started typing the word in the Find box. After I had typed "med", Firefox put the cursor on the word "medicate" in the web page. I have to click back in the Find box to continue typing my word. This is extremely annoying because sometimes I have to click back in the Find box after every letter.

I hadn't restarted after disabling SearchMenu. Having restarted, it would appear that the problem was, in fact, SearchMenu. Which was my suspicion. Once Find highlights a "word" SearchMenu interrupts to offer its services. I guess I'll post on their board, to see if there's a solution.

i have an ipod touch 5th generation (ios 7.0.3) it is 32 gb and it is still in warranty i have a clicking noise in the top left of my screen does that matter. it has been in its case for a long time and hasnt been scratched or damaged.thx for awnsering my question.

On the 5G iPod and iPhone 5 the rear camera lens moves to focus and is lightly suspended so it can move. The noise you hear may be the lens moving. It is normal and expected.

How to remove sites when right-clicking Safari in the Dock?

Right clicking Safari in the Dock shows 3 sites visited awhile ago. There is a diamond shape before each. And each is repeated several times, 16 for one. I've cleared History, closed Safari, removed it from the Dock, restarted Safari. they're still there. Opening them and deleting just increases the amount.
I'm stymied.
Any help would be appreciated.

I've resolved the issue myself.
First, let me clarify, each of these "sites" had several tabs.
Here's what worked: by Option-clicking on one closes all other tabs. Of course this can be done manually, closing each tab separately.
Once all but one tab is showing click the "close", red circle, button and the site deletes from the Safari list in the Dock.
Not sure why this anomaly happened but I know how to fix it if it should happen again.

The question is could we get the nodes that has been deleted from the model?

I would love to give you more information but i cannot access that page again? i can add Lightroom to my cart but when i go into my cart it says there is nothing in there? If you eject the SIM card tray the serial number is also there. It's tiny, but there.
When my iPhone won't turn on I first charge it with a known good cable for a few hours. If nothing after that I begin a warranty lookup for repair.
