I am running Crystal Enterprise 8 with SP1 installed. After viewing 1 report and then closing ie - i am then unable to go back into ie and run another report. I then try to stop the pageserver but it does not stop, so i kill it and then restart it and i am able to view my report again. I then exit ie and i have to do the same thing again. Anyone got any ideas?

I started using CC a while back and have done most of the work on this project in CC. I believe i may be able to finish it in premiere pro cc. At the moment i have the project queued up and rendering.. Its taking a while, but i think it will work. Knowing the issue brings me a lot of relief! I was worried that it was just a problem with premiere. Thank you for you help! That issue is solved!

If it is any consolation this started happening to me today. I am in Toronto. I am wondering if there is a copyright issue here. I have done nothing to solve it - mostly because I suspect this has nothing to do with my computer.
p.s. My speculation about copyright is not correct. Comedy Central plays fine with Google Chrome. Have not yet tested Firefox.

I had done all of that to no avail. I did call Apple Tech Support and after he suggested I try a USB port in the rear of the Win 7 computer, things starting working again. I tried holding the on/off switch down to make it shut down, but when I turned it back on again, the same thing happened and none of the keys etc makes any difference.

No, what you're experiencing is not normal.
Try booting whilst holding down the Shift key - this will allow you to boot into Safe Mode, disabling third-party kernel extensions, etc. Your Mac will be slow to boot and will operate sluggishly. That's normal. If you can get in using Safe Mode then you have some start-up item that doesn't play well with Mavericks.

Connect to iTunes and try to reset it from there.

I just checked to see if the update to OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 solved any of the issues outlined in my previous post, and to my dismay, nothing has changed -- all of the previous problems persist.
My iMac (8) -- it's renamed itself eight times since the recent troubleshoot with the Apple tech rep -- shows up as a shared device in Finder on my MacBook Pro, but when I click on it, I cannot establish a connection using "Connect As". So I've attempted to connect using the menu "Go/Connect to Server...", using both (alternately) the iMac's name and IP address, to no avail. I get a message which reads: "There was a problem connecting to the server 'Peter's iMac (8)'. This server may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again."
Here's what I know:
The server -- Peter's iMac (8) does exist;
The server -- Peter's iMac (8) is available at this time;
The server name -- Peter's iMac (8) -- is correct, as specified in the system sharing preferences;
The server IP address is correct, as specified in the system sharing preferences;
The network connection is active when I attempt to connect.
I'm convinced the problems stem directly from the OS X Yosemite update. None of this was ever remotely an issue in the previous OS X's -- any of them. This is maddening! What can be done? Apple?? Anyone???

I have to shut down and restart JDeveloper to see changes. Why?

I have to shut down and restart JDEV about 30 times per day. If I make changes to the style sheet, I can't refresh my deployed page, I can even redeploy it. I need to physically shut down JDEV and restart it.
This happens as well with multiple style changes I am making, regardless of whether it' inline style changes (setting the height of an image) or changing a border.
Am I missing something?

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I downloaded iDraw - which is an Adobe Illustrator wannabe for the iPad. You can export to PDF and other formats using iDraw. iDraw also supports file sharing. File Sharing is the iPad/iTunes way to send files back and forth from the iPad to your computer and back again.

There are third party apps in the app store that will allow you to use virtually any printer even if you don't have one of the HP AirPrint compatible printers.
You can even use an app like Pages to create your templates. You can insert art and photos into Pages and it supports file sharing as well. Pages is a Word Processing app and I would be inclined to not use it for your purposes but it will work for some basic designs however it's certainly not ideal for creating artwork.
