i tried everything, even reinstalling but i get stille the same thing: restart the engine because Firefox is allready active

Usually the HDD is the frist place to look. Use the original install disk and start up the MBP with the C key down. Go through the installation process until you see on the display a menu bar on top.
Click on UTILITIES.
From the drop down menu select Disk Utility.
Open Disk Utility>First Aid and run Verify and Repair.
What are the results?

I have been in the tools section and went to options and under the privacy section I have selected to remember the passwords and it does not. I also went into the security section and checked the remember the password section and it does not remember them.My exception are empty in security section also. I have read all of the replys and have yet to solve the problem.

Firefox crashing even after reinstall

I desperately need help because there is something very VERY wrong with Firefox. Whenever I try to start it the crash reporter will pop up right away. I have tried a complete and utter reinstall three times even deleting all the profiles and temp files but nothing is working. I've run half a dozen spyware sniffing programs and there isn't anything on my computer that any of them can find. The only way it will run is with the Administrator shortcut (Ctrl-Shift-Firefox Icon). This has been happening for about a week now and despite repeated reinstalls and so forth it has not fixed the issue.

I will flag this as escalate, as I do not understand the crash.
Hopefully someone will reply within a few days. (HelpDesk staff may take 2-3 days and do not work weekends )

I find it rather odd the signature 7 day summary is picking up >1000 Win7 crashes & >1000 Fx35.0.1 crashes but did not see this in the default top crash listing, its only showing currently as #59

If I am understanding correctly, you must restart the iPhone to use FaceTime, everytime you want to use it. I would start by quitting all the running apps on the phone first:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that reset the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Firefox 4.0.1 sometimes says that "Firefox is already running but is not responding" when I go to open it and I have to restart the computer to get it to open!

There are no more details really. I go to open Firefox (when it is closed) asd it gives me the above message - so I have to restart the machine to open Firefox!

which infers the problem exists and seems to confirm the only way is to restart the machine.
Not being computer literate I cannot tell whether or not you can get around the 'lock/unlock' problem! What I need is an easy 'fix' but there does not appear to be one!!

Since downloading the update for Firefox 3.6.10 all websites that I previously stayed logged into must be logged into everytime I open them. Why? And can this be fixed?

This has happened with previous Firefox updates but only after the initial update. Once I logged into websites such as facebook, yahoo, hotmail etc. I stayed logged in and was able to access these sites without having to log in each and every time. I have checked all boxes on these and all other sites to remember passwords and to keep me logged in and I still have to log in on each new visit. I rebooted my computer and this did not help. I made sure that Remember Passwords was checked on the Security tab under Options in the Tools for Firefox.

How can Mozilla be contacted to report this problem directly to them instead of posting to a forum?

Hi, i have downloaded firefox 7. I was informed that there was an add on called SEO for firefox. However after searching the add ons i can't find it. can someone tell me where it is please ?

or if it has been updated and called something new, what that is please ? I tried to add on SEOquake thinking that might be it but after installing it, i can't seem to get it to work. Also it looks nothing like the form settings SEO for firefox had, and in the description it said it was an extension so i don't know if it incorporates the original material, and so i don't know if it is the right one. All you need to do is wait. While Firefox appears closed, it's not. It doing house cleaning. Cleaning out cookies and cache. How long it takes depends upon how much garbage you have collected.
If you start the Task Manager and open the Process window, you will be able to see when Firefox has finished up and closed down.
If you forced Firefox to close using the task manager, then the house keeping process seems to freeze up.
Also, as you've already found out from the above link, some programs and plugins will prevent Firefox from closing properly. I've found this less common then simply being in a hurry. But you need to also consider it.

I did the fix a few times and restarted firefox, with no success. Also, I installed the latest version of firefox and it is slower now. I have to use firefox for school, otherwise I would just find another way.
