First post here and ofcourse it is a question I hopo you people don't mind. I will get right to the point:
I have a picture , or to be precise the pixels of a picture stored as a 3 dimensional array in the form of
img[y][x][color].
Since I am working on grayscale the color doesn't matter , so de facto I have a 2dim array of X-Y coordinates. For my programm ( a line tracker of sorts) I need to be able to select a subgroup of this array. This subgroup should be equivalent to a small (appr. 10x20 pixels wide) box in the original picture. My problem is that this box could be at any angle, that is it's side do not have to run parallel to the x-y-Axis.
Now how would be the best way of doing this?
My idea is to calculate the lines of the rectangle geometricaly and then try to approximate them onto the array. After that I can use them as boundaries to select every pixel that is inside the box.
Is there a better way? Does somebody have any experience with something similar?
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

If a restore to factory settings in iTunes does not resolve the issue, it's more than likely hardware related, meaning you'll need to have the iPod serviced or replaced either by Apple or a third party service.
I would schedule an appointment at your local Apple Store/Genius Bar to have them take a look.

says so.

What are you actually looking for? On Windows 7 your options will be under ''Tools > Options''. If you have the ''Firefox'' menu, you can hit ''Alt'' to temporarily enable the menu bar.

Probably not. Grey discs are system-specific and will work only for the exact model MBP with which they shipped. It's likely that Apple will charge you less money, and it will be guaranteed to work.

Documenting process sequence - anyone got a better way?

I am using OWB v9.2.0.2.8
I am trying to document my process flows and the sequence the various activities run in. Unfortunately I can't find anywhere where the sequence of the activities is stored.
I have been trying to guess my way around the system tables/views but no luck. I got hopeful when I found ALL_IV_PROCESS_TRANSITIONS.TRANSITION_ORDER but all contain zero so it was no help.
The best method I have found is to edit the activity descriptions in the process flow and insert a sequence number, then the following SQL will give me the listing I want:

Hi. To clarify my role is basically to set up this in a organization so If I fully had it my way I would stick with FCP Green Screen Tools. The reason Im using boris is because the user who will be editing on the machine really does not earn the title of "editor". So ive had to set them up with really easy, really fast ways to get this done.

Does anyone here have GPG working again after migrating from PPC to Intel?
I can't work out what's wrong. I receive an error message from GPGPreferences, in System Preferences, saying I need a newer version. I reinstalled the latest version (GPGPreferences 1.2). I've reinstalled GnuPG 1.4.3. I've reinstalled GPGMail 1.1.2.
I've looked on the macgpg-users list but there are no answers there. I've checked the list of GPG apps:

Official statement from PGP Corporation on Intel-based Mac edition: Beta due this month
We previously reported that the PGP Corporation had made no announcement regarding the potential release of a Universal Binary edition of PGP Desktop, frustrating some users.
The company has now informed MacFixIt that it is indeed working on an Intel-based Mac compatible edition of PGP, to be released at an undisclosed date. A beta version, however, should be released by the end of July.
John Dasher, Director of Product Management for PGP Corporation, told us:
"As more and more people upgrade to Apple's latest Intel-based product offerings, we're seeing more frequent requests for a Universal binary version of PGP Desktop 9.0.
"As you know, PGP Corporation has a long history of multiple platform support with our products. Occasionally, the platform vendors surprise us and ship something early, causing us to briefly fall out of sync.
"While we can't commit to specific release dates, I can convey that PGP Corporation is working without delay to provide compatibility with Apple's Intel-based Mac products in the next major release of PGP Desktop. As per usual, PGP will make beta versions of this software publicly available (later this month)."

I am so done with this. 8,000 songs on my iTunes app and now I only have 256 songs!! I purchased a new computer and had backed up all my content onto an external hard drive. When I downloaded the content onto the new computer, I was unable to access my music for 90 days!! What a bunch of BS! $8,000 down the drain, just like that. This is ludicruis! I have tried to contact support but they require some sort of serial number, don't have one, this is not an Apple computer. So their support ***** as they only give you one option to contact them. I still have my content on the back up but am afraid to re-download in fear I won't have access to the material for another 90 days! Has anyone else had this problem? Hello,
I've been editing some code and wanted to use the 'insert
destination path' tool in the editor.
On pressing the icon Flash CS3 just...... QUIT. No saved
work, no message, just no window.
I'm shocked, since fortunately I wasn't working over some
important stuff for a client, which I didn't save.
Anyway it just scared me.
The app is unpredictable. I don't remember now exactly how it
happened but during the first days after the installation,
it crashed while PS was running in the background.
Judging from how Adobe was advertising the product, it should
run smoothly and be trustworthy. I'm disappointed at the bugs.
Did you encounter similar crashes?
I'm running WinXP with sp2 and all critical patches. System
works fine, no redundant litter. I use it only for designing.
I don't think any software clash could have caused the crash,
it must have been Flash CS3 bug.

Symptoms
After installing the Mac OS X 10.4.9 Update, iTunes may be unable to properly authorize your computer to play your iTunes Store purchases.
Resolution
The following steps will delete your network preferences. Most broadband connections do not require any special settings to connect, but if your connection does or if you are not sure, please contact your ISP or network administrator for further assistance.
Important: You must be logged in as an Administrator.
Click the Finder icon in the Dock.
Choose Go to Folder from the Go menu.
Type /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
Click Go.
In the Finder window, locate the file named NetworkInterfaces.plist.
Drag this file to the Trash.
Restart the computer.
Once your computer has restarted. You will not be able to connect to the Internet. Now you will need to refresh your network settings to be able to connect again.
Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.
Choose Network from the View menu.
To refresh your network settings, from the Location pop-up menu, choose New Location.
Type a name for your location and click OK.
Click the Apply Now at the bottom right to accept the changes.
If your network connection requires any special settings, you will need to put them back in at this point. Once you have made these changes you should be able to connect to the Internet again and authorize your computer to play your iTunes Store purchases.
