Mozilla would not have installed Outook Express on your computer, they do not offer Microsoft programs. This would have been something that you or somebody using your computer would have installed.
Check the Windows control panel add/remove programs for Outlook Express, you should be able to uninstall it from there.

Check that the LCI in the dock connector of the iPhone hasn't been set off as shown in the article below:

Try a reset aswel:
- hold the home button and sleep/wake button down for atleast 12 seconds
- release both buttons as soon as you see the apple logo appear

Is this programme really this badly thought out? I thought everything apple was supposed to be intuitive!?!?!? Help.

You can not insert a section break into a textbox.
You appear to have a lot of objects with wrap set, that once you take them out of the flow of text (by sending them to the background) causes the text to reflow and contract into fewer pages. Pages is almost unique in the way it forms up pages in Word Processing mode only so long as there is text on them.
I suspect you probably have hammered away at returns, spaces and tabs as well to position things, which only works to add to the mess.
Download the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf available under the Help menu and swot up a bit on how it works.

PS There is quite a lot of programming in OSX that is far from "intuitive". Pages is easy at one level, when using the templates, otherwise it can be quite frustrating.

Why is Apple putting music on my iPhone that I did not ask for and do not want ?

I have a Mac Pro and an iPod Classic that I use for my music.
I noticed today that some of my purchased music was on my iPhone iTunes app. I did not ask for these to be installed.
Also, I noticed that when I tap on a song, sometimes it plays, sometimes nothing happens.

These are thousands of songs that I purchased using my Mac Pro. I sync my iPod Classic with a USB cable to move the songs to the iPod.
Now, my purchased songs (not the ones imported into my Mac Pro using a CD), are in my iPhone. I do not use the cloud. I have been very careful not to sign up for anything related to the cloud.
I'm trying to figure out why Apple is forcing this on me.

So,after the latest kernel upgrade, Arch won't boot.
What have I done so far;
First I ran this commands;
cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/sda ar ro
modprobe dm-mod
vgscan
vgchange -ay
Then I try to mount them, and chroot into my install.
mkdir /mnt/arch
mount /dev/ch/ro /mnt/arch
mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/arch/boot
mount /dev/ch/ho /mnt/arch/home
mount /dev/ch/va /mnt/arch/var
mount /dev/ch/tp /mnt/arch/tmp
arch-chroot /mnt/arch
This brings me into chroot, checking home dir, everything is oke, so far!
I try updating with pacman -Syyu, but no updates.
Reinstalled mkinitcpio and Linux,
Ran mkinitcpio -p linux, unchroot,unmount and reboot didn't solve it.
I was running grub legacy, installed Grub2 in chroot, but this leads me to the same problem.
What should happen normaly,
I boot and it should ask for the password to decrypt volume 'ch'.
It doesn't and comes with an error not being able to find the root device on /dev/mapper.
If it's not asking for the crypt-password in the first place, of course it won't be able to find the root-device;)
Perhaps boot is going to fast and it just runs over decrypting the LVM.
Maybe there is something wrong with my kernel line, but I don't see it,(
/vmlinuz-linux root=/dev/mapper/ch-ro ro cryptevice=/dev/sda2:ar ro

So, I miss somethings in my mkinitcpio.conf, I will investigate , but it strikes me a little bit since I never changed anything.
Ah, I remember having a upgrade for mkinitcpio.conf a few days or more back, will look into it.
Update: after falconindy's hint') added lvm2 and encrypt to the hooks.
After that I ran; grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg && mkinitcpio -p linux
The system boots, but I have to add; cryptdevice=/dev/sda2:ar ro in grub by hand!

Problem with Outlook Express 5.0.6

I am using an iBook OS 9.2. Since moving to DSL I can receive e-mail but no longer send e-mail using Outlook Express 5. I have been instructed to download Outlook Express 5.0.6 from Mactopia to solve this problem. My download is complete but when I go to open it I get a message with a yellow alert saying "You do not have the appropriate privileges to use this file." Any suggestions?

I hope this is the right place to post a complaint about my Canon S100 camera's shutter not working correctly. My daughter purchased two of these cameras, one for me, and one for herself. Both cameras are having the same problem. I hope Canon can help us with this serious problem. What good is a camera if it does not take pictures?

I find it quite surprising that you do not respond to 28 pages of comments regarding this issue on the other thread and yet you directly comment here.
Seems to me that the problem arises after significant use as the contacts in the shutter switch corrode and do not get the contact that they once did. With many users this occurs just outside the 1yr warranty. However, it is clear that this is a design fault as opposed to natural 'wear and tear' and therefore I would expect that a company with Canon's reputation for excellent service would offer free repairs.
Can you please confirm if Canon are preparing a response on this issue?

I am using sun java system connector deployment tools to create client installation script, on first page I have to supply the location for web publisher and Microsoft LDAP service, I can find web publisher and I don't have any clue about location of LDAP services and without this my client instaltion script keep failing with following error.

Hi,
If memory serves, Outlook XP offered the ability to set what address-book connectors were installed, one of which was LDAP (by default enabled). It may be a similar situation with Outlook 2003 (which I assume you are using based on the version number in the debug logs). Try using the Office '03 install CD and see if you can find the LDAP addressbook option and install it.

I used the contacts feature all the time when I had a microsoft system. Now, I can't do that with Outlook for the Mac. Does anyone have any alternative Apps that they've used for Business contacts? thank you both for your responses. I'm having trouble mostly with a way to handle my business contacts. I'm self employed and when I had Outlook for Microst(before I switched to Apple)I was so pleased with this softward. Esp the way it would keep track of any correspondense between me and my customer. I could also track billing thru Outlook contacts.
Now, I get my mail thru outllook and use ical and @contacts. I see that I can have a separate group of contacts thru @contacts, but, it's not the same or nearly as good as Outlook contacts for Microsoft.
So, right now I'm really disapointed with my Mac purchase and hoping to find an app that will help. I will investigate Thunderbird.

Sub account problems with outlook express

I have a slight problem in that I use outlook express as my email software and have no problems receiving my emails but I have a sub account for my partner and I cannot receive her emails so if anybody can help I would be very greatfull.
I have only had this problem since I set up outlook on my new laptop and can still receive her emails on my old desktop but as I do not use it very often it is a pain to fire it up just to receive her emails.

Hi. Welcome to the forums.
Do you receive any error messages when trying to receive the emails ?
If I may be frank, the fact that you can receive the emails on the old machine, and not the new one indicates a settings problem in the new machine (though other things can interfere).
Make sure that you have spelt the email address correctly, it is surprisingly easy to get a character wrong. Also make sure that you have got the correct server address mail.btinternet.com, and that you have the correct port number 25 - and not using any SSL (that is usually a tick box).

I looked thru the forms and the KB and the only two suggestion are use the servers SMTP address or leave blank neither have worked. The user wiped the blackberry before trying to activate. Firefox is having problems with Washington Gas web site connection for online bill payments

when I try to log on to WashGas homepage and/or its login page, a pop up window appears saying that firefox cannot certify authenticity on my connection as if there could be a problem with server connection, fraud ie a third party is trying to log in with my identity and/or other. i have a blackberry 9300 3g and i cant seem to be able to download the new device software (os6) since i have os5 in my device already. i have tried downloading using the desktop software but i keep on recieving errors about my internet connection. there is nothing wrong with my internet connection so far. i also recieved a download link from a member of this board as a solution but the link is for OS5 and not the new link OS6. can somebody help provide another solution by way of download link to OS 6 instead of OS 5 or any other solution deemed fit by the one providing the solution.
