Haveing problems with siri not understanding me

having trouble with siri not understanding me. could there be a glitch?

I just have a problem that when I ask Siri to schedule an appointment it directs me with a internet search with the words I just said. So it understnads my words but seems to think I want to search for them rather than schedule the appointment or play the music. I try Siri every couple of weeks and the response is so bad its worthless.

Do you have an active data connection (wifi or cellular)? Have you tried resetting the phone by pressing and holding the Home and power buttons until the apple appears (this is different than just turning it off and back on).

Do you have Final Cut installed on your machine?

Morning all. I'm having trouble with Siri. Yesterday she simply stopped understanding me. Everything i say to her she just replies with "Sorry, Nath, Something's gone wrong. Can you try that again?" With every request. Full reception both on 3G and Wifi.

I was having exactly the same problem for two days after I upgraded to an iPhone five. None of the things suggested here helped.
Turning Siri off and on again in Settings fixed it.
(I had tried resetting my phone and the network settings but that did not fix it.)

Im from Mauritius, our mobile number having been migrated into 8-digits since 1 month. I'd turn off siri, reset setting.. its the same!

If it's an Apple mouse, make it "Favorite" in Bluetooth preferences.
If it's not, the same thing might help, too, but if the problem continues it could be a driver issue (possible incompatibility with your OS X version).

I'm having problems with the Notes App

Hi Everyone.
Just upgraded from the original iPhone to the 3G.
Everything transfered over fine and I've got all my settings set up like I want them. However, I'm having trouble with the Notes App and I used it all the time on my original iPhone.
When I type in notes the words don't wrap. As I type notes just writes one really long sentence. It will eventually wrap but not after typing a lot of words.
If I hit done after typing then the iPhone will save the new additional text I added but it will not let me edit the not again. I have to leave the app, open it back up again, select my note and then I can edit it again. Also, if I do have the ability to edit and add/delete text the previously entered text "floats" a little bit. I can grab it and slide it as a group all over the screen.
This is a note that I transfered from my original iPhone and it's a touch long. I use it to jot down creative ideas and brain storming. So I'm kind of constantly adding to it.

Having problems with Siri on Os6

Siri will not play music for me now. i have an iphn 4s with Os6 and now when i ask Siri to play music she tells me she is having a problem. i have tried asking for specific songs, artist and playlist and everytime she has a problems. What is the deal???

Is anyone having problems with the Notes feature in the new Mountain Lion OS? When I open this feature it begins to pinwheel and then it closes and I get an error message!

Is anyone having problems with iCloud not properly working on their MAC?

it seems like iCloud works great between my iPhone 4S and my MACBOOK, particularly with Mail, they seem to sync perfectly however, the same does not happen with my iMac! With iCloud are all your systems suppose to sync the same? if so what should I be doing to make sure I'm using iCloud properly?

Are you guys by anychance on Optimum Online? My family is having the same issue; they are able to access all services on their 3G devices, and I can access their accounts from my home, which is not on Optimum -- only having this issue through Optimum's cable internet.

Whenever I create a note two copies are saved in the All Mail folder. One that is titled "New Note" without any content in the note and another that is the actual note that I meant to make. Why does Gmail create the unnecessary "New Note"?

Is anyone having problems with siri and mail servers?

I'm in Colorado and am using a 4s on verizon. Both yesterday and today I've had problems downloading mail from the servers. Both accounts are used as apple ID's and are tied to my icloud account.
Siri has also been failing me yesterday and today.
Is anyone else experiencing problems?

I've tried text 'person', email 'person', set alarm and no matter what I say it tries to play a song no where close to what I'm saying, or calling or facetiming with someone else. I speak clearly but it's not getting what I'm asking. A friend said she's had no issue with hers.

Seriously, what's the problem with Siri since the iOS 7 upgrade?

I don't know if it's just the fault of iOS 7 or not because I only have one Siri capable device and so I can't compare. But since upgrading my iPhone 5 to iOS 7, Siri has definitely gotten much much slower, and sometimes ends up with the "Sorry I can't take your request now" response, which I never saw in iOS 6.
I've heard other people complain too.
Is it an iOS 7 problem? Has Apple changed Siri since releasing iOS 7?
With all their money, why can't they add enough servers to handle the load?
I'm on high-speed wifi almost all the time, and the pauses, delays and non-responsiveness has gotten seriously annoying. I used to miss Siri when I went from my iPhone 5 to my iPad 2, and was thinking of upgrading to the next iPad because of Siri (for one thing). But as of late I would classify Siri as more annoying than useful.
Are other people also having problems with Siri?

I assume you are joking. Like why after a year would I suddenly start holding my iPhone 5 differently immediately after the iOS 7 upgrade?
