Haven't received certificates for signing up for best buy credit card

I had received an email on 2/20/14 stating that if I signed up for a best buy credit card before 3/19 and spent $500 I within 3 months, I would receive $50 in certificates. Called customer service and they can't find the promo. I received an email from randy and sent back a screen capture of the promo to the [email protected] email address. Haven't heard back from anyone.
Can someone help resolve this matter?

I am familiar with the promotion in-question, as we have offered it several times in the past. To my knowledge, if you signed up for the My Best Buy™ MasterCard via the email you received and spent $500 within the first 90 days, then you should have qualified for a $50 certificate. These bonus certificates, being the promotion is offered through Citibank, are usually added to all eligible members' accounts at once, which would take place about 2 to 3 months after the promotion ended.
While looking through your account, I did notice that you have an open case with our Account Maintenance department. I fully trust that they will be able to answer your questions; however, I am going to send you a private message to see if there is perhaps anything I can do to help. I know if you haven't received the card yet in the mail you can still use it in store by giving an employee your information. But is there anyway to use it online to make a purchase?

It's great to hear that you are either considering or have already applied and been approved for a My Best Buy credit card! It is my understanding that you would have one opportunity immediately after being approved for the credit card online to use it. Outside of this browser session, I believe you would need to wait for the arrival of the physical card. Sadly, this means if you apply and are approved in store, you would not be able to use the card online until you receive it.

Got a 10% coupon for signing up for a credit card... can i use for purchases this past weekend?

Hello,
I bought a new 4k tv on saturday and then a sony soundbar yesterday(Sunday) when i went to pick up my TV. I just signed up for a credit card on Saturday and today I recieved a 10% coupon through my email for signing up.
I was wondering if I can do a return and repurchase for one of the products I bought? Id like to use it on the TV but if not the Sound bar. I imagine this WOULD be possible if it was any other weekend but since it was Black Friday weekend im not so sure. I checked the prices of the items i bought and the prices havent changed.

I apologize for the lateness of this response; we are currently backlogged on posts and trying to catch up. I can totally understand wanting to use that coupon on your purchase of a 4K TV, that would most likely be quite a savings.
To be honest, I’ve not heard that we give out a coupon for 10% off a purchase when you sign up for the Best Buy credit card. However, there is a promotion where you would get 10% back in rewards points to your My Best Buy membership for the first purchase you make with your new card if you make a purchase on the day you are approved for it. You can find more details here.
I would encourage you to take another look at that email to see if this is the case. Otherwise, coupons do have to be present at the time of purchase. We generally cannot apply them after the fact.

I have put a wrong Apple id for signing in for icloud

I have put a wrong Apple id for signing in for icloud (one word missing from my real id) on my iphone 5. Therefore, it was never verified and I cannot delete the account as well. Every time I switch on the phone it asks for the password. I tried to change the apple id but it didn't help. Still the icloud works with the wrong e-mail address. Is there any way to solve this problem?

Thank you for answering my question. But the iphone does not allow me to delete the icloud account. It says it needs the password. I changed the password several times, it did not help. It doesn't accept the password as the icloud account is not verified.(How can it be verified as its the wrong e-mail address?) I tried to change apple Id but it didn't help as well. You cannot use that ID without a credit card. You did not create your account correctly. There is very specific way in which you must create your account if you do not want to use a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you will have to start all over again.
1. You will have to sign out of that ID before you can create a new one. Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID>Sign out.
2. You cannot use the email address that you used for the first ID that you created. You will need to use another email address now
3. You have to download a free app in order to start the new Apple ID process.

You normally need to provide some sort of payment method (in part as proof of residence in the country) before you can get even the free apps. It is possible to set up a new iTunes Store account just for free apps, but you have to create a new Apple ID; you cannot use an existing one. If you want to do that, take a look here:

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note again that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free content without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

first create apple id
fill credit card details
and complete your account creating process.
than go to app store or itune store
login your acount
click right side - account button
than again login for account setting
next go to payment information and click edit button
when u enter payment infomation

I was having this exact issue when I was set up to use PayPal as my payment method. I fixed it by -
1. going to my iTunes account and selecting None as my method of payment, then clicking Done
2. confirming this on my account page - which then said Add (or Set up, I can't remember) a Credit Card
3. on the Add a credit card page, I again set up the exact same PayPal account I had before.
4. I was then taken to the PayPal website to confirm that I wanted to use my PayPal account for iTunes purchases, and finally
5. I was taken back to my account page in iTunes, which looked exactly the same as before BUT...
The next time I tried it, my purchase went straight through! (And this was less than 5 minutes after I'd had the "Credit Card processing is temporarily unavailable" message.)
YMMV, but I guess a similar revalidation process would work for credit cards too.
