You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.

    this says it all..

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Contact Apple through iTunes Store Support, and explain that you have forgotten your 3 security questions, that you can reset your password, but doing so doesn't reset your security questions.
Remember, support will receive hundreds, if not thousands of requests per day, some from people trying it on, others with little explanation and others that are written extremely poorly. Take the time to explain your situation properly, be precise and concise, brief but comprehensive.

  • I'm having trouble to change my security questions for my apple ID because I forgot the answers to them can anyone help me?

Having a hard time with the ability to change my security questions because it keeps asking me for the answers and I don't remember the answers to them

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

How do I change my security questions? I forget them because I made them ages ago and can't seem to buy anything off my account without having to answer them?? Help

    1. First, go to http://appleid.apple.com. Underneath where it says "Already have an Apple ID?," click Manage your Account. You will then need to sign in. If you forgot your Apple ID or password, click on the appropriate "Forgot..." link below either of these fields.
    2. After you sign in, click on "Passwords and Security" on the left.
    3. You will be asked to answer the security questions, but you should also notice a link below the second "Answer" field offering to send reset instructions to your rescue email address that you provided.
    4. Check the Inbox of your rescue email address. The email should appear within a minute or two. If it does not, be sure to check Spam. If it is not there either, you can repeat the above process to resend. Once you get the email, following the link will take you to a page where you must sign in again. After doing so, you will have the option to choose three new security questions and answers, which you may want to write down
    5. After you fill in the required information and continue, you should be taken to a confirmation screen stating "Your password and security information has been saved," and then you are done.
    6. The "Forgot your answers?" link will not appear if you do not have a rescue email address set up. In that case you will need to contact iTunes Support, http://apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html
    7. If you still know the answers to your security questions, it is highly recommended you add a rescue email address. To do so, log in at appleid.apple.com and click on Password and Security. Answer the questions and then click on "Add Rescue Email Address:"

I am having problems changing my security question. When I try it sends me a email to a email I don't own.  is going to gmobil.com instead of gmail.com but its correct user name and password when I log in to iTunes?

The address the rescue email is set to isn't the same as your normal one. If you can't change the answers, contact the iTunes Store staff via the link in this article.

  • HT4061 I am trying to change the security questions?  Forgot the answers

I am trying to change my security questions for I forgot the answers

How to reset your Apple ID security questions
Go to appleid.apple.com and click on the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'.
Log in with your Apple ID and password. If you have forgotten your Apple ID password, go to iforgot.apple.com first to reset your password with a password recovery email.
Go to the Password & Security section on the left side, and click on the link underneath the security questions that says 'Forgot your answers? Send reset security info email to [email]'.  This will generate an automated e-mail that will allow you to reset your security questions.
If that doesn't work, or  there is no rescue email link available, then:
click on 'Temporary Support PIN' that is in the bottom left side, and generate a 4-digit PIN for the Apple Account Security Advisor you will be contacting later.
Next, go to getsupport.apple.com. If you see a message that says 'There are no products registered to this Apple ID, simply click on 'See all products and services'.
Choose 'More Products & Services', then 'Apple ID'.
A new page will open.  Choose 'Other Apple ID Topics', then 'Forgotten Apple ID Security Questions'.
    Click the blue 'Continue' button.
Select the contact option that suits your needs best.

Forum Tip: Since you're new here, you've probably not discovered the Search feature available on every Communities page, but next time, it might save you time (and everyone else from having to answer the same question multiple times) if you search a couple of ways for a topic, both in the relevant forums and in the Apple Knowledge Base before you post a question.
    Regards.

  • HT201303 What about changing the security questions not the apple id password

I'm trying to buy an app on the app store it asked for my apple id which I knew but then it asked for two additional passwords for verification I inputted those in but it said they where wrong I tried several more times all the answers where the ones I thought I used originally but no. My question is how do you change theses two passwords and not the main apple id password but the back up ones.

Sice I was having the exact same issue with my account and trying to make a purchase I found my solution by calling the apple support line that I found online, I'm not the greatest of problem solvers or talking to people over the phone for that measure but I did, call they asked me a few questions and where able to change my 2 security questions once they fixed it I was able to log in and change my password but now I write down my passwords and keep them in a very secure location just in case I ever needed them again it really does help. I hope that this will help you in any form of trying to change your security questions.

  • How can i change my security questions on iTunes?

    Hi
how can you change your security questions on iTunes? This is so stupid and i cant remember any of the questions since i answered them a long time ago.. thanks in advance

    Go to:
    https://appleid.apple.com/
Click "Manage My Account", sign in, and go to the Password and Security section. If you've forgotten your answers, there should be a link just under the security questions fields where you can have a reset email sent to your Rescue email address. If the link for the email doesn't appear, as can happen if you didn't set a rescue email address or (apparently) have a .Mac email address, go here:
    http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html
to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
    Regards.

Another user had success doing the following:
I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
      a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
      b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
"done", in the upper right corner
      c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
          security questions.
      d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
          questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.
    Good Luck friends!
