Having a hard time on BDC...

Hello guys,
I am very new to BDC and ABAP as well. Currently, I have been tasked to modify a program where I must change the values that is being copied from the flat file(text file). The program uses BDC and it gets the values from the text file to be uploaded. I have pasted below the sample text file format that we use to upload to SAP.
805267     0 1/30/2006 1/30/2006 1     640 SL adjustment 555
My problem is that the value 555 is the amount posted. What I want to do is to modify the value 555 to be 0 so when the transaction that is being called shows up, (the transaction by the way is ABAA) instead of the value 555 it will be 0. I have tried modifying the code where in I tried to clear the values before calling transaction ABAA. But unfortunately it doesnt work. Help would really be appreciated...

Hello Lijo,
This is a bit complicated but i'll explain my problem. the value 555 or whatever that is must be kept and shown at the first screen of the transaction(ABAA) that is being called. example:
PERFORM BDC_DYNPRO USING 'SAPMA01B' '0110'.
PERFORM BDC_FIELD  USING 'BDC_OKCODE' '/00'.
PERFORM BDC_FIELD  USING 'ANBZ-DMBTR'  IT_REC-DMBTR.
PERFORM BDC_FIELD  USING: 'ANBZ-BZDAT' IT_REC-BUDAT,
                          'ANEK-SGTXT' IT_REC-SGTXT.
This is the first screen that is being called.The field it_rec-dmbtr have the value of 555 from the text file. Now when I press enter(BDC_okcode) it now goes to the 2nd screen which shows the value 555. here is the code for the second screen:
perform bdc_dynpro  using 'SAPMA01B' '0285'. " '0600'.
perform bdc_field   using 'BDC_CURSOR'
                          'ANEP-ANBTR'.
perform bdc_field       using 'BDC_OKCODE'
                                '=AUSF'.
The anep-anbtr shows also the value 555. But what I want is instead of 555 being displayed on this screen, I want it to have no value or 0. I have tried to clear the value of it_rec-dmbtr and anep-anbtr but to no avail.
