Having a heck of a time trying to change which itunes account is used.
I purchased my iphone a couple weeks ago and initially set it up with my wife's Itunes account. Now I have set up my own but I can't get the phone to accept it under the app store. So far I have deauthorized her account on my pc ( lost all my apps which is fine ) and even went so far as to uninstall and reinstall the software on the pc. Tried downloading an app under my signon and syncing but it still comes up with her logon on the phone. What else can I try?
Upon syncing your phone it should set the account info on the phone based on what account you have your iTunes logged in with.
You can also change in Settings on the phone (Scroll down).
Note, apps that you have bought are still on your computer and if both accounts are authorized under iTunes you can sync them still but when updating you will have to use old account info. It knows the difference. If you are trying to get same apps again but they are on computer not sure if it will replace or not. So if you plan on re downloading may want to fully delete them off the computer.

I'm having trouble with my Apple ID. I changed my email account, and recently (a month ago) and since I switched is requested every time I open any app to Apple ID password to the old email. How can I solve this? Could it be that my iPhone 4S is in sync with my Ipod???
If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPhone by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPhone. If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps.

Please help! I am trying to change my Apple Id that used to be my mother to Mine- Every time i have it changed and i go and try and do an update it continues to ask for her old password. I really need help with this!

Is this a debit card you're trying to use? If so, those are apparently no longer accepted by the iTunes Store. You need to use a true credit card. If you are using a credit card, make sure all your billing details match your bank statement exactly. If that doesn't help, call your credit card company and ask if they can see any sort of flag on your account that might cause your card to be declined.

Getting error trying to log into iTunes account
When trying to sign in iTunes account on sons iMac I get an unknown error in "red" I now the password works as it is mine and works on all
my other devices. I am able to access the Mac app store with his logon and I am able to access iTunes with my logon on the iMac. The picure below is the message I get. Any help?

To change a secondary account you have to delete/sign out of both accounts. After doing so, you can sign back in with the secondary account ID in System Preferences>iCloud and it will become the primary account. To delete an account from System Preferences>Internet Accounts, select it on the left sidebar, then click the "-" icon at the bottom to delete it.
