Having a problem adding programs to my existing Creative Cloud desktop

Originally installed Creative Cloud and a few programs about 3 months ago and all has been working well.
I have been trying to add additional program but consistently have a problem and get error messages including my Adobe product is not a genuine item (which cannot be since it is downloaded through my account).
Used to be able to call for help, but that does not seem to be an option.

    Separate plans for separate people... although you may install/activate on 2 computers

    Pointless question. Anyone who knows these things is so high up in the hierarchy they will not care to visit this forum and even if they did, their NDAs would prevent them from sharing any such info before the official release date.

    If you are on MAC Open Activity Monitor and check for Creative Cloud, it it Running Quit it
    MAC HD /Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor
    If you are on Windows check in task manager
    Ctrl + shift +  Esc keys

    hello, forst of all sorry my bad english... i have a problem... i unistalled adobe master collection and now i have cc. i tried to download some programs (photoshop, dreamweaver and lightroom) but when i open creative cloud desktop, there is nothing: only white page.... no login, no programs

    On your regular account naviagte to ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db and trash it. Launch CC desktop, sign in and let us know if the issue still persists.

    Hi, I'm having problem with the installation of Creative Cloud Desktop and then I cant download the new CC software...during the installation phase a generic error message come up. Just one time I received thi error code: A12E6. Probably the problem is that I've a Creative Cloud subscription for software in english language, but my Mac OS (version number 10.8.4) is in italian...There is a way to solve this problem? Please help me!

    Talking with yours collegues in chat, we have circumscribed the problem to the language...but they were not able to give me a solution...I've bought the licence for the English version of the Adobe Creative Cloud but the Operating System language is Italian...I've read the Thread above but I cant switch the language inside the Creative Cloud Desktop because I'm not able to install it and then to open it and I'm fine with the English...this seems to be a bug of the software

    1) WHAT if I juse JUST ONE Adobe program pretty often? 
    They have a single use subscription for $20/mo.  Similar to upgrading extended version every 1.5 years.
    2)  WHAT if I created projects like 2 months ago and I didn't use Photoshop for a full month.  Who assures us that with the CC series the projects are opened with the old CS ones?Or don't use it every day?
    Same problem if you own it.  If upgrade price is $400 every 1.5 year that is same as $16/month.  You can choose not to update and version will be same as when you last used it.
    3) WHAT if I don't use Adobe 24/7?  and 5) Making an day-based subscription??  Same problem if you own it.  If upgrade price is $400 every 1.5 year that is same as $16/month.
    4) Adobe, do you think to be the only one making these softwares?
    Competition is always a factor in market.
    6) After all this mess, you discriminate Europeans, too?
    Taxes charged by Governments and municipalities are not controlled by Adobe.

    If you are using Windows please cancel the current installation.  Once the installation is canceled please rename the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE folder to OOBE_old.  Once the folder is renamed please try installing the Creative Cloud Desktop application from https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

  • Why does Creative Cloud Desktop App invite me to Install a program that I already own?

    I am a recent subscriber to the Creative Cloud Photographers Program, which includes three programs: Photoshop, Bridge, and Lightroom.  When I launch the CC Desktop app, the "Installed Apps" section lists three programs:  Photoshop CC, Photoshop CC (2014), and Bridge.  Lightroom appears under "Find New Apps" with a button that says "Install."  But Lightroom is already installed!  Why doesn't the CC desktop app list Lightroom under "Installed Apps" and why doesn't the button say "update?"  I am hesitant to press "Install" unless I am assured that it is safe to do so.
    Details: Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium
    Creative Cloud Desktop app Version 1.7.1.418
    Lightroom is 5.5

    Thanks for your reply, but unfortunately the URL you gave is a non-functional web page.  The chat button on Adobe's Contact Customer Care page is also non-functional.  I get the feeling Adobe doesn't want to chat, or maybe they went home for the weekend, so I came to the forum.

  • Problem with Creative Cloud Desktop App in Mavericks

    I have posted a couple of times about this but no one seems to be answering. There seems to be a bug with the Creative Cloud Desktop app and Mac OS Mavericks.
    I have the newest version of them installed on a brand new MacBook Pro and I have had problems ever since with the connection to the Creative Cloud when I wake the MacBook Pro from sleep. Often I will have a red exclamation point on the icon in the menu bar because it can't connect to see if there are updates to the apps. Or the Behance tab will show that the last time my Behance feed was updated was a long time ago.
    If I quit the Creative Cloud application it will connect with no problems and update the Behance feed and any apps that need updating. But once I put the MacBook Pro to sleep and wake it again I have the connectivity issue.
    This is becoming a huge pain to have to quit the Creative Cloud all of the time. Would someone please offer up a suggestion. Is this a known bug that Adobe is working on? If not, how do we let them know about it?
    I have tried re-installing Creative Cloud but that did nothing. This didn't start happening until I got Mavericks on a new laptop.

    if you follow all 7 steps, you can download those trials via two of the links on this page using a browser that accepts cookies:  http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html
    and activate with your adobe id.
    if you have a download problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps.  typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies so that's (a restrictive browser setting) another potential source of problems.

    Hi, I have updated my desktop and laptop to Windows 8.1 over the past day, and have noticed a problem with the Creative Cloud Desktop app.
    Some menu items when I right-click on either the CC system tray icon, or click on the Settings menu icon in the app interface itself do not show.  I've included a screenshot of the problem.
