Having an iBlonde moment.... in trying to take out the trash
I can drag things to the trash, but I cannot: a) open the trash to see what is in it, or remove anything from the trash. Can anyone assist?
Click on the trashcan icon and hold the mouse down. A
little bubble will open up giving you 2 options -
open and empty trash.
All you need to do is to move your cursor to what you
want to do and let go.
The other thing to do is double click on the trashcan
so you can see what is in there.

I know I'm blonde...but I should have explained in my post that it's not that easy. I do double click and nothing happens. And when I hold the curser on the icon, the 'open trash' bubble comes up, but doesn't respond either. I can't find a trash icon anywhere on my hard drive. Could somehow the trash icoon been 'trashed'? It's a real problem. Not a completely blonde one either! Thanks.

I have uninstalled all things Adobe from my MAC, but a dead icon remains on the launch screen, "AAMLauncherutil". It does nothing when clicked, but will not uninstall. Please help me rid myself of Adobe. I have to either replace it or clean it. I can't just take out the screws in the back (it doesn't look like they come out. I was trying to unscrew one for an hour.)
3 minutes agoIf you were having your appendix removed would you want the surgeon to skip a few steps? Follow the Service Manual would be my best advice, sir. I have not personally taken apart CQ50 but there are likely screws inside the memory compartment or under the optical drive that can only be reached by removing the memory, DVD drive, wifi card, etc. If you do not remove the wifi card and antennae leads the antenna will be in your way holding the top and bottom halves together.

Don't know where you got that idea, all US Cricket iPhones are carrier locked, with NO way to get them officially unlocked, as Cricket DOES NOT offer official unlocking for the iPhone.

hello, i were updatin my ipad, and then when it wasnt finished i came to take out the wire, the thing that sits in the iPad and now i cant do anything, its totally frozen, what can i do?
Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

In Finder, Desktop, a zillion photos show . I have no idea how they got to the desktop but have not been able to get rid of them. They are listed as greyed out. ON the Desktop I tried dragging them to the Trash. If I try to empty trash, 'some of the items you are moving are in use by another application. etc.." and now, another, Copy "Preparing to undo "move to Trash".
Try an All Images Search:
In the Finder:
Command - f
Kind: Images
Size: Greater than 300kb (This is to avoid all the thumbnails, icons and so on.)
Set it to search the Mac.
As to why? The most likely answer is user error, I'm afriad. It does point up the importantce of always having a back up.

Can I take out the underlines in photo gallery? I mean the underlines for "Back to Album", "Previous" and "Next". I understand they are functional but I just don't think they look great with the whole composition. Thank you!
This might work:
Create a dummy hyperlink on that page and set the color, rollover color and underline options that you want on those links. Click a couple of times on the *Use for New Links on Page* button. Delete the dummy hyperlink and republish. That should change the links you mentioned.

Did they take out the free section, you know where they might offer a free episode/song/video/etc in one spot (or at least did they for Canada)? I can find the english song of the week (I used to enjoy browsing both the english and french), but that is it...

Need help Take out the null values from the ResultSet and Create a XML file
hi,
I wrote something which connects to Database and gets the ResultSet. From that ResultSet I am creating
a XML file. IN my program these are the main two classes Frame1 and ResultSetToXML. ResultSetToXML which
takes ResultSet & Boolean value in its constructor. I am passing the ResultSet and Boolean value
from Frame1 class. I am passing the boolean value to get the null values from the ResultSet and then add those
null values to XML File. When i run the program it works alright and adds the null and not null values to
the file. But when i pass the boolean value to take out the null values it would not take it out and adds
the null and not null values.
Please look at the code i am posing. I am showing step by step where its not adding the null values.
Any help is always appreciated.

I insert it into the mac, but the OS cannot load the disc and the disc cannot be ejected even i pressed the "eject" button.This happened to a family members macbookpro. A mini-cd inserted, couldn't be mounted or ejected by the drive.
I cut a rectangle from a cereal box about two inches wide and 6 inches long. Abour an inch and half from one end in the middle I cut a notch and bent it down a little.

You're talking about the logic board. The two most likely things to get toasted, with water damage, are the battery(it shorts out), & the logic board. The worst water damage would be salt water. I'm afraid your logic board is toast.

Hi, I've exported an iDVD 720p movie to my hard drive. I found an old version of iDVD and have been able to get it on the comp and play around. The challenge is, any time I try to burn a higher quality version (the video file is 10GB) to a dual lay
