Having an image follow you as you scroll down a page

Hello,
Forgive me for not knowing the proper term for this question.
I have a basic html website that consists of a table with many cells. I want to add an image on the left side below my navigation that when I scroll down a page that image will follow me down the page so that it always shows nomatter where I am at on the page.
Any assistance would be greatly appriciated.

You can modify the CSS positions from right to left, bottom to top. And insert your image inside the Sticky container.

Safari Scrolling Down The Page Automatically

Why is Safari Scrolling Down The Page Automatically? This started 3-Days ago... Also we keep getting the "MacKeep - PopUp" Everytime we Click on an Item in the Original Screen.
We have All the Latest Update for OS X 10.9.5
This is Clearly a Software Issue I have spoken to others who are experiencing the same.
How do we Fix This Bug in Safari?

You may have installed the "VSearch" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Step 1
From the Safari menu bar, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Uninstall any extensions you don't know you need, including any that have the word "Spigot," "Trovi," or "Conduit" in the description. If in doubt, uninstall all extensions. Do the equivalent for the Firefox and Chrome browsers, if you use either of those.
Reset the home page and default search engine in all the browsers, if it was changed.
Step 2
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.vsearch.agent.plist
Right-click or control-click the line and select
          Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "com.vsearch.agent.plist" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.
Repeat with each of these lines:

You may be wondering why you didn't get a warning from Gatekeeper about installing software from an unknown developer, as you should have. This failure of oversight has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.

Look up Dictionary (3 finger) disappearing while scrolling down a page

I have an issue with "look up" (dictionary) while I'm scrolling down a page.
The more down I scroll the more up the "result" stays.

Yes, as you can see I hit the same word every time but the result goes up until disappearing.
I'm scrolling down and the result doesn't follow the word I'm hitting.
That means, if I need to "look up" a word at the bottom of the page is impossible to see the result.

If it's happening on all sites, then assuming that it's Safari that you're using, have you tried clearing it's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (other browsers should have similar options, possibly within the actual app instead of within Settings). You could also try closing the app completely : from the home screen double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app (or whichever browser you're using) to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If it's only happening on a particular site then there may be content on that site that isn't supported on the iPad e.g. flash, java, silverlight

The figures you mention only make sense on your intranet. Are you still using the same wireless router. The verizon one is somewhat limited as far as max wireless-n performace. For one thing it only has a 2.4 radio. I like many people who wanted wireless-n performance before they even added a wireless-n gigabit router, have my own handling my wireless-n network.

Many of my photos appear briefly as I scroll down the page then disappear leaving a box outlined with a broken-line. The menu bar says that I have 300 pictures hidden, but I am unable to get them unhidden.

I am experiencing difficulty with iPhoto '11. Some of more recent photos can not be accessed. As I scroll down the page of photos, the most recent ones appear briefly, then disappear to be replaced with a box outlined by a broken-line. The menu bar says that I have 317 photos hidden. Hiding photos is not something that I normally do, can't imagine why these are hidden. Instead I get a dark exclamation point within a triangle. Another problem with these same photos is on the event page there is no key photo for these events only a dark screen. I can't find an answer to my problem. Has anyone experienced this? What is the problem and how can I correct it?

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Keeping the heading when scrolling down the page

In Excell it is possible to keep the column heading row separate so that when you scroll down through pages of numbers the headings are still visible at the top of the rows. Is it possible to do this in Numbers?

Go to the "inspector"-click on the "table" icon-then "headers and footers" where you can set the number of headers or footers you want and click/unclick "freeze". You can also do that directly from the button bar on the "header-footer" buttons

My home page is MSN and whenever I scroll down the page, the "Bing Web Search" menu drops down and covers part of the page in Windows XP. How can I prevent this from happening?

This only happens on the home page. The drop down appears as soon as the "Bing Web Search" at the top of the page disappears as one scrolls down the page and remains visible until I scroll all the way back to the top of the home page.

Try to use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.

I think this new scrolling behaviour was introduced with Lion. You do get used to it pretty quickly (well I did). Are you sure that deselecting Natural Scrolling in Mouse Prefs doesn't re-instate the previous behaviour, it does here.

Since installing the latest version I cannot scroll down my pages using the button on the pad on my laptop

I had the old version of Firefox and was invited to install this version when it had finished i went back on line only to find the button on the laptop mouse pad no longer scrolls down the page. I now have to drag it down with the bar at the side.

Use "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit) to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar.

Yes, you'll simply need to open up your docs-to-go program and once you've accessed the program, select the document your needing to view. After selecting the document using the stylus tap in the upper left corner of the screen and you'll see a drop down menu populate (from the File option), Next select preferences and lastly, place a check mark next to the page scroll on Five-Way device.
