Having connection problems with the cloud on my pc using Firefox and Explorer. Is there a problem with iCloud today?

I've been having trouble connecting to the Cloud today.
Is there a problem with Apple or is it my browser?
I've been trying with Firefox and Explorer both.

I installed firefox 10 - it was offered on startup. I absolutely does not work with a cloud based program I use (corecon) and I want to GO BACK TO FIREFOX 9. how do i do this?

firefox 10 ABSOLUTELY does not work with a cloud based program, Corecon. I want to UNINSTALL firefox 10 and GO BACK TO FIREFOX 9 . How do I do this? This is a subscription service, you may not be able to try it. v9 works fine.

I used to be able to use the reduce picture ( middle button ) using Firefox and dragging the image to another screen. How do I restore this as the reduce button will not work ?

The top right corner of the screen allows you to reduce the size of your entire image on Firefox . I used to be able to do this so I could drag the image to another screen . Suddenly I cannot do so anymore from my laptop. What can I do ?

Anybody? Just installed my new ATV and everytime I go select a radio station it spins and spins and spins - then when I go back to th emenu and then back into the radio to try again I get "Could not connect to "DEFAULT_SERVER" seems pretty specific!? Problem with The Cloud (UK)

I'm having trouble connecting to The Cloud hotspots with the iPhone.. tried my local Wetherspoons and another pub with Cloud WiFi - the iPhone displays the Cloud network ok and shows a good, strong signal, however on opening Safari I have never seen The Cloud homepage or been asked for my O2 mobile number to connect.
If I open a bookmark, the Wi-Fi signal indicator immediately drops to just one bar and the web page appears but as text only. Am I missing something, or is this as good as The Cloud gets ?

I too had a similar problem. I think until you have actually got the Cloud home page (and entered your mobile number) web pages display text only. I think the Cloud allow you a few pages free before sending you to their home page.
Although I've gone through this verification process, I find that as soon as I connect to the Cloud (in a number of Wetherspoons) the signal drops to one bar and I get bumped back to GPRS/EDGE. I've never really successfully managed to use the Cloud.

Lost connection with the cloud

Curious, if my StorSimple solution loses internet connection and cannot communicate with the cloud, what would the expected behavior be? Will my volumes go offline or will I still have use of my local data? What happens if a cloud snapshot is in progress?

The StorSimple device tiers old data from the local tiers to Azure. If the device loses connection with Azure, the data on the local disks is accessible to hosts. However, if a block of data which is present on the cloud is requested by the host,
the device retries getting the data. If the data cannot be retrieved within 4 minutes, the volume/lun will be put in an offline state. If the connection is established within the 4 minute period, the data is fetched from Azure and served to the
host.
If a cloud snapshot is in progress the job keeps trying to send the data to Azure and if there is a prolonged outage, the job will be cancelled after 4 hours.

I'm sorry to read that you are having issues with your Sync account.
Your best bet is to follow the steps described in this blogposts and open a bug:

After that, if you don't want to user Sync in your computer, you can stop it with this simple steps:
* At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options.
* Once the options window opens, click on the Sync tab.
* At the bottom of the Sync tab click on '''Deactivate this Device''' link

BTW I tried using doferent setings in compressor from CBR and VBR I even pushed up the setings to 8 or 9 BR and still no luck !

Let's focus attention on just the Sony. (What model and what resolution are you shooting?)
For now, I'll assume you're shooting 1080i.
Take a representaive clip into a new sequence. Add a title.
In your sequence, make sure field dominance is set to Upper.
Set render settings to Pro Res 422.
After rendering, export QT self contained.
Import into Compressor (I'm now referring to v3.5).
Select the 90 minute Best quality DVD preset.
Open frame controls and turn on (click the gear icon). Set Resize filter to Best.
Submit burn and check quality on TV.

I'm sorry to learn that your phone is having problems starting up, marinema08. I'm sorry if this is incorrect, but are you using the original HTC Droid Incredible or a later Droid Incredible model? Please try placing your phone in Safe Mode to see if you are able to move past the Droid eye. http://vz.to/1kdQWVI If you are able to enable Safe Mode, please try deleting any recent applications you have added.

IPhoto crashes with the Cloud

When I turn on Photo Stream in my iPhoto it crashes. Everything else works with the Cloud / my iPhone / my MacBook Pro except iPhoto. Do I just wait for Apple to send out updates to eliminate this problem?
This problem started when I connected to the Cloud. Everything else works fine.

I'm having a similar problem, and I only got my MacBook Pro yesterday! As a first time Mac user I don't really know where to start.
When I go into iPhoto, select Photo Stream and the pop up window asking if I would like to allow iCloud to access my photo stream comes up it freezes.
I have had to 'force close' both times I have tried, and have been a little scared to try again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
