Having issues downloading books from my local public library, already download adobe and overdrive.
I am having trouble downloading a book from the public library and have already download the necessary programs required by the library. I have downloaded adobe and overdrive. I can not figure out how to get the book from Adobe Digital Editions to my ipad.
i have tried to go through my overdrive app to download the book and when i do this i get a message
this title is not available from our mobile site please login to your account on your computer to download this title you may then transfer it to your mobile device. i have the book on both of my computers its just getting it transfered to the ipad that is the difficulty. i have tried using the help information provided and it is getting me no where. i have been trying to transfer this book for 4 days with no success.

Sometimes simply restarting your iTunes, the computer and the iPad is all that it takes to correct an issue like this so try that. Quit iTunes, reboot your computer, and restart the iPad. Then try the sync again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -

having his problem?The app gives you instructions to browse to the Overdrive site and put in your Zip Code. You can do this from Safari on the iPad. When you find your local library, you will be asked to log in with your Library Card and PIN. When you select compatible content, the Overdrive app will automatically launch, where it will give you the ability to download content segments, or even all segments. It will also help you keep track of when the book will expire etc. The books are broken up into many segments so that you can manage how much content is stored on your iPad. I did this just this morning, and downloaded 8 of 38 segments of the book 2666.

I also have not been able to download the ebooks from TPL. I have no trouble going to "Safari Books online" for the computer technical manuals but the ebooks have been a bust for me as well.

Hello, I've started having an issue downloading songs and apps from iTunes to our PC which has Windows XP Professional installed. We also use Karspersky Anti-Virus and Firefox as an internet browser. Have never had this issue before, it comes up with "An unknow error has occured and downloads are stopped with an error 8003. Also says please check your network connection" We have no issue connecting to iTunes store or the network so not sure how to fix this. It is very frustrating. Have checked Windows Firewall and iTunes is an exception, can't think of anything else why it won't work.
I sounds as though you need to start again. The following article tells you how to completely remove iTunes and Quicktime. If you didn't actually install iTunes you wont find it in add/remove programs so you can't do that bit, but still delete the iTunes folder in Program Files as advised in the article.

Once you have got rid of them, try installing the latest version of iTunes. There is a link to it in the article.
Itunes wont move your music for you, get iTune sgoing then ask again. -

Yes, I know. Which is why I won't argue over it. As I said I've never had an issue with it when travelling.
And Apparently the purchase is working fine for the OP, its the actual download that gets hung up.
Anyway, If the Purchase is going fine, then its more likely an issue with the internet connection.
Are you on Cell service when trying to download rather than Wifi? -
Hi, I am having issues downloading the free trial of Photoshop. I get the errors below occurring whenever I try and download. I have managed to download lightroom without any issues but was wanting to try them both out to then look at purchasing the monthly option. However would be a bit difficult if I can't download Photoshop! Any advice much appreciated.
