Having issues sending Yahoo/att mail with one account
Since upgrading to OS Mountain Lion, we have all sorts of issues. This weeks challenge seems to be that my one (and main) e-mail account through Yahoo/att will receive in batches, but not send at all. I have another business e-mail account and it is sending and receiving fine. Mail prompts me for my password over-and-over again. Obviously both accounts settings are identical except for username and password. Any thoughts or help is greatly appreciated.

Help is just a posting away! Let's get your picture messaging working to other devices on your account. Are you having any issues with texts? Also, are these pictures that you took on the device? Can I assume that you are using the original text messaging app on all of the phones? If so then please turn off iMessage on the iPhones and test the service. Let us know the results so we can proceed.

Is anyone having issues sending and receiving downloads with messages?
I downloaded messages. But I'm having troubles sending and receiving downloads from others.
My friend has messages as well and we can send small files, like mp3. But when I tried to send him a movie that's 500mb it says that the file is too big.
When I get incoming files to download (doesn't matter if the file is small or large), I click it and my aim automatically logs me off and then back on. So I can't even accept incoming downloads. Anyone have any fixes?Hi,
I have one other thread where the person says there Login to AIM gets booted off when they try to accept Files in Messages beta.
Personally I have one Jabber Buddy who I cannot get Files from but they can send me AIM File Transfers.
I need to test with other Jabber Buddies to check this further myself. However I am not booted Off line.
I have sent Picture files in line and as free standing File transfers over AIM before, the largest probably being about 50Mb at a max.
I certainly have not sent a movie that big (I have sent smaller ones)
I have not come across a Limit before.
What do you see if you have the File Transfer window Open as well ?
This tends to show the sideways barbershop pole and a second downward arrow to start the download from there.
Mine fails when I click the arrow in the File Transfer window and until then it says Waiting.
The other thread has also tried Auto Accept with no luck.
At present I have not answers to this.
We have not tried Zipped files in the other thread.

I am having issues loading older e-mail from my account.
It used to load them, but now it says loading messages/refreshing and then does not do it. HELP! I have my account set up to see messages from 1month or 100 email, there are only the last 5 showing up now!
Hi wilsonsn! Receiving email while on the go has become so important, whether it be for business or just to stay in closer touch with friends and family. I'm happy to help, and would like to start with some questions, as well as a troubleshooting step.
Is this a new issue? If so, do you notice if there was something that was done right before it started, that may have caused it (i.e., an application or any change in settings)?
To troubleshoot, I recommend uninstalling your email application, then reinstalling it. Depending on the model Droid you have, the steps can be different. Here is a link to our support page, just enter "Email" and then the model of your device. vzw.com/support
Once you remove the email, you can readd it right away, and this can bring back your emails. Please post back with your results, thanks very much!

I am having issues sending emails through mac mail. Have 4 accounts and they are all having same issues
Can receive mail ok
have tired rebuilding the mail box but no improvment.
i need to shut down system and restart to be able to send mail.I tried something similar by adding a new mail account doing the apple id etc but it worked in that it would look for mail but no mail would come even though mail still goes to my phone I was loath to delete my original account just in case the new one did not work as well. So I guess I am a little stuck now.. I hope you can help me to sort it out.

When i send an e-mail with attachments to one of my contacts, they says they did not receive.
When I send an e-mail with a pdf attachment, my boss says she did not receive it. My SENT folder indicates that the e-mail and attachments were sent. I have not received an error message and I have checked the e-mail address 6 times. My bosses' e-mail address is in my contacts.
No one else is complaining about this.search google for "iphone remove picture from contact"

I'm having the same issue, except my application actually sends the email but the attachment is 0 octet and it doesn't even give me an error... Any chance you found a solution for this and could share it ?

When trying to send an e-mail with small attachment, I get the error message qq#4.3.0 and the message fails.
Pop or IMAP mail account?
What version of Thunderbird?
First try this just in case this a Sent folder issue. Right click on 'Sent' Folder and choose 'Properties' then click on 'Repair Folder', click on OK.
Close and reopen Thunderbird.
This will make sure the indexing is correct.
Try Archiving emails in the Sent folder (Ctrl+A will highlight all Sent emails and display them as conversation - click on 'Archive ' button) and then right click on Sent folder and choose Compact.
This will get all the old emails into an Archive folder and compact will remove any traces of old deleted sent mail, thus freeing up space.
It could also be an issue at the server end. -

I am having issues sending and receiving group texts on iphone 5c. I may get texts only from the sender or a few of the recipients, but not all. I spoken to Apple. They are working on the problem but it has been almost two months + and the problem seems to be getting worse. Any one have this issue?
ajspurr, sorry to hear that you're still having some troubles here, but we want to figure this out. If you have already cleared the application cache and data and it's still giving you an issue, we may want to reset the device. I would like to send an E-Mail with a small photo (not as an attachment) to someone who is reluctant to open attachments. Can I do this and how??

tchIf you insert an image into the body, it will still be 'attached', even though it won't be listed as an attachment in the usual way. Another option is to upload the photo to your personal storage space such as OneDrive or Google Drive, and then email the link to the image. The image can then be displayed in a web browser. If you don't have a storage space, there are plenty of free image-hosting services.

Are you saying, you are getting junk characters in the email attachment? Then pls check the following. Since you want to send Japanese fonts, please pass language 'J' in both objpack-obj_langu = '3' & doc_chng-obj_langu = '3' instead of '3' please replace it with 'J'.
Another thing which you may have to check is the SCOT device type. As I understand from my basis colleague, this may also affect your attachment fonts since the emails are sent through SCOT. Go to transaction SCOT-> Settings-> Device types for format conversion. Check whether wrong device type is defined for Japanese there. Hope this helps

Well, that's it really. I need to send an e-mail from an account for apple mail to retrive new incoming mail.
This has started happening since I upgraded to Mavericks. It's very temperamental. Some days it needs massaging to get my mail (as per above), other days it works like a well-oiled machine.
