Having issues with my iTunes on my iPhone

Not sure what happened the last time I synced my iPhone to my iTunes to transfer some music I bought from iTunes off my phone.  After I thought everything went well, when I went to my iTunes on my phone to shuffle songs, some do play but others songs it skips and it starts going crazy skipping songs.  I even wanted to play a CD that I have a hard copy of and downloaded into my iTunes library and as soon as I try to play it, it skips all songs on the screen of my phone until the last one and it goes back to the album as if it played it all but songs do not get played. I tried taking the iCloud off to see if for what ever reason that was the cause but it didn't work. I am not very good with computers and do not know where to even begin fixing this issue....please help!

I had this and tried absolutely everything before resetting. However nothing worked. The only way this worked for me is:
Settings
General
Reset
Erase All Content and Settings
Then follow from there. It would be wise to ensure that you have backed the phone up to iCloud or iTunes prior to doing this.
Annoying as I've just come from Android and didn't have any issues with apps there. Doesn't inspire confidence at all, especially as a seemingly widespread issue.

    You can turn on BT tethering but it disables Wifi so if I have to do that step every time I get in my car, I just as well manually connect on BT every time.

  • Since downloading iOS 4 I'm having issues with getting iTunes applications!

    Okies, so here's my prob. I went to iTunes (I have the latest version) and I tried to download the free app, "Baby Center: My Pregnancy". It downloaded to iTunes but wouldn't let me sync it to my iPod saying, "This app couldn't be sync'd because the iPod isn't using the latest iPhone OS." So, I went and updated to the iPhone OS 4. I tried to download it again. Again, it downloaded to iTunes but this time when I sync'd it to my iPod it showed in iTunes that I had the app on the last page. When I disconnected my iPod, it wasn't there. I even searched for it and nothing came up. I tried rebooting the computer, I tried rebooting my iPod, I tried restarting iTunes. I tried re-downloading and re-syncing the app to my iPod again and again and again! Each time it showed in iTunes that I had the app, but I look on my iPod and... NO APP! I'm a little frustrated with this. Can anybody tell me what to do? I really want this app on my iPod. PLEASE HELP!!!

    Found my problem!!! I had Restrictions set to limit Apps to those appropriate for ages 9+ (my kids). I reluctantly changed it to 12+ and Netflix magically appeared! Yay!
    You may want to check your Restrictions in Settings.

  • Anybody having issues with custom iTunes Radio Stations you've created not being available?

    Created a custom iTunes Radio station today with about 20 artists.  Able to access it on my iMac and my Apple TV but not my iPhone (it shows but nothing happens when I try to play it).

  • I am having issues with my iTunes on my new MacBook Pro Retina. I called about a month-ago to fix my iTunes on my computer, and now when I buy new movies or music it will not let me play it on my computer nor will it download it onto my computer.

    As noted a month ago I called apple to fix my iTunes account. Now when I buy songs or music I cant watch, listen, or even download them onto my computer. It keeps giving me this pop-up when I try.
    "This computer is already associated with an Apple ID."
    "You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. This computer can be used with a different Apple ID in 52 days."
    I know this computer is  associated with an Apple ID, because it's mine, so why can't I watch, listen or download them onto my computer?
    They had me reset alot of crap when I called them, so if anyone knows how to possibly fix this before I call Apple and freak out, please tell me!

    Check the required specs for the latest version of iTunes and iOS. What kind of Mac computer do you have and what OS does it have on it. Also, what kind of processor do you have, Intel?

    Is this a problem in the way the accounts have been set up or with my local email server?

    Check the parameters in your email account against what is recommended by your email provider.
    Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > account
    Have you contacted the support contact at your email provider?

  • Having Issues with iTunes 10.5.3 and uninstalled. Cannot reinstall without upgrading to newest Snow Leopard? Using MacBook Pro running 10.5.8.

    Running OS X Leopard 10.5.8 and was having issues with my version of iTunes 10.5.3 (freezing and getting rainbow spinny wheel, not allowing me to do anything, while importing music from a different folder into the iTunes). Anyway, so I uninstalled iTunes and went to download the newest version (10.7 i believe) and after downloading and attempting to install, i was alerted that I cannot install and run this application without having the newest version of OS X 10.6 i believe. So, what I'm ultimately trying to figure out is if I need to spend $130(that i do not have) on Amazon to get the Snow Leopard 10.6.3 then pay another $20 in the App Store to upgrade to Mountain Lion as well? I need to have iTunes on this laptop due to having an iPhone 4 that needs to be able to be synced on this computer. Bottom Line is, I don't have really have $150 to upgrade all this at the current moment just to get iTunes back on my system. Any suggestions or am I basically having to drop the $150 just to get iTunes back so I can sync my iPhone 4 again? Ugh, this *****, really wish i hadn't uninstalled that version of iTunes..HELP!!! thanks in advance..

    It sounds like you are unable to re install iTunes because the Apple Mobile Device service failed to start. Try restarting it with the following article:

    Close iTunes and disconnect the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
    Click the Windows Start button .
    In the Start Search field type Services.
    In the Programs section of the search results, Click "Services".
    Select Apple Mobile Device and click Stop the service as shown below:
    After the service has stopped, click Start the service.
    After the Apple Mobile Device service has started again, open iTunes and connect the device.
    Then if the issue is resolved, set the service to start Automatically with the same article.
    If it is still not working, use these steps from the same article to completely uninstall iTunes and its associated applications and install a fresh copy.
    Remove and reinstall iTunes and AMDS
    If the issue continues after restarting AMDS, then you'll need to remove and reinstall AMDS and iTunes.
    Completely uninstall AMDS, iTunes, and all Apple software. Click the appropriate links below for steps:
    Windows XP
    Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
    Restart the computer.
    Download and install (or reinstall) the latest version of iTunes from www.apple.com/itunes. Installing iTunes will also install AMDS.
    Restart the computer.
    Start iTunes and connect the device. It should be recognized properly in Windows.

  • Having issues with iTunes 11.1.5 on Windows 8.1

    Ever since I've refreshed my windows computer two weeks ago. I am having issues with iTunes 11.1.5. For some reason I can access the iTunes Store, but most of the time when I do something internet related on iTunes, the app is either stuck on checking for downloads or when trying to sign in. I am trying to update all my apps but only a couple out of 30 actually start downloading but they keep getting stuck at "processing file". I have used another computer with Windows 8.1 with the same version of iTunes and its downloading app updates fine.

    Okay ... let's try seeing if that one is the root cause of the errors.
    Try the "Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023" section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:
