we are in R12 .12.1.3.
We have 2 envs.
Having issuewith QPXPRFOR.fmx
One env we do not have performance issue while in other we have issue in loading pricing attributes.

Yep, and it still didn't work.
But I figured what I did wrong: I was selecting both the text and the heart, and then I was doing the whole Object>Wrap Text>Make thing, as opposed to just selecting the heart and doing it. Once I did it, I moved the heart around on top of the text, and it "made room" for the pic, wrapping itself around the heart.

i have to issue coupon to the customers using the issue Coupon functionality in Advanced Pricing.For this i have created Modifier List Type of Promotion.And created two Modifier Lines of Discount and Coupon issue under this Modifier List.While Assigning the Discount Modifier Number to the Coupon moifier number field in the Coupon issue line iam getting the error "Coupon issue must have either 'Discount' or ' Promotional Goods' as its benefit modifier".help out to solve this problem.

Pricing Engine call having performance issues

Hello All,
Morning need some help with this ,, we are having performance issues with the QP Pricing Engine call using seeded API : qp_preq_grp.price_request
We are having Pricing Context setup and have about 20 pricing attributes defined/setup with different values.
The price list is which is passed has a dynamic formula attached to it. This formula makes use of the pricing attributes and factor lists to provide final price.
For the Pricing control record we are passing below mentioned parameters :
p_control_rec.pricing_event := 'LINE';
p_control_rec.calculate_flag := 'Y';
p_control_rec.simulation_flag := 'Y';
p_control_rec.manual_discount_flag := 'Y';
Could someone please assist as to how we could trace or debug this pricing performance issue , means what exactly is causing the pricing call to take time.. Is there any other way other than taking a trace file and geting a tkprof.
meaning could something be analysed or checked within Pricing debug/trace itself to see what is causing the performance to degrade (specific to pricing debug)

Since you are using a formula to come up with a price, you no longer need the calcualte price flag as 'Y' . Pass as following:
p_control_rec.calculate_flag := 'P'; --- 'Partial Price; indicates that Pricing will not be calculated automatically by the system, but other charges will be'
OR, if you do not need the shipping charges to be calculated as well, pass the value as :
p_control_rec.calculate_flag := 'N';

I'm having an issue displaying a button using advanced actions and rollover slidelets.

I'm having an issue getting a button to display after the learner places his mouse over three different rollover slidelets which are all on the same slide. I created three variables and assigned each to the rollover slidelets. I also created a conditional action that I assigned to the slide. The variables are set to zero and then the action is to assign the variable with 1 after it's rolled over. The conditional action says that once all three variables are equal to 1, show the button and continue. Unfortunately the button is not displaying after the three rollovers have been viewed. Any insight?

I can only suspect what is going wrong, it would have been a lot easier if you did show those actions.
My suspicion is due to this sentence '... a conditional action that I assigned to the slide'? There are two slide events: On Enter, and On Exit. Read more about those events:

Those events can trigger an advanced action but only at that frame: first frame (On enter), last frame of the slide. But you expect the button to appear when the three rollover events have occurred? That means the condition has to be checked by each action triggered by the rollover events. Have multiple examples on my blog for such use cases, latest one was:

Shortly:
Use the On Enter event of the slide to reset the three variables to zero, that will be a standard advanced action with three Assign statements (this is not necessary if you never expect the user to return to that slide)
Use each Rollover event to trigger a conditional advanced action with two decisions:
First decision 'Always' will be a mimicked standard action, and toggles that variable to 1
Second decision 'Checkit' will have your condition to see if the three variables are equal to 1, if Yes show the button, if No, nothing has to happen (or maybe Continue, depends on setup)

Issue tabbing through form fields on Adobe Reader 9.2

Hello everyone. I am having an issue that I am hoping someone can assist me with. We are currently using IE6 and Reader 5.5 in our production environment and we are currently testing IE8 and Adobe Reader 9.2 for deployment. Our company uses a web portal where we have many pdf forms that open within a web browser. The problem we are experiencing is that when tabbing through fields on the pdf, the cursor will eventually cycle down to the end of the form and then start cycling through to the top of the browser (toolbars, address bar, search bar,etc) before finally returning to the pdf document's fields. Is there either a setting in the reader or maybe even IE which controls this functionality and will limit the tabbing to only the pdf form? Or does anyone know of a method of limiting the tabbing functionality to only work within the pdf document itself when opened within a browser?
Any help on this is greatly appreciated. I have looked through all the reader preferences and do not see anything directly related to this. Thank you very much in advance.

Hi, i am having an issue with a basic motion scroll effect.
I already watched and read every tutorial out there regarding this topic and even tried the adobe chat support, but the guy on the other end of the line disconnected me…, probably he didn't understand what i wanted from him because english is not my native language, so a will try to be very, very clear about this one..
please note, that i am new to muse, this is my first project ever.
my idea is as following:
when the customer comes to our companies site, he just sees our logo on a white Background. the logo consists of, say, four elements. when the customer scrolls down, the logo starts to disassamble: first the first part of the logo flies out the left side of the site, then the second part of the logo vanishes down, then the third part of the logo flies to the right, then the fourth part of the logo flies to the top and out of the customers view. given what i have seen, it is possible to do that….
so…..
now i have the four parts of my logo imported as png files into muse and assembled them in design view to build our companies logo. I select every one of the four parts and go into the scroll effects tab left beside the layers tab. first i enter the same values for every one of the four parts: initial motion: 0x and 0x again for the left and right motion; key position ( t-handle) : 0px; final motion: 0x and 0x again for the left and right value.
now i hit "preview".: the logo is "pinned" at the correct position, i can scroll but the logo stays where it is. so far so good….
now i select all the four elements again and go to the scroll effecs tab. at "final motion", i click the down arrows and enter 1x. I hit Preview…
when i am scrolling down the WHOLE logo goes down…. so far so good.
NOW i want the first part of the logo to go down, THEN the second part to go left, THEN the third part to go up, THEN the fourth part to go right.
so i select ONLY the first part, go to the scroll motion tab, at "final motion" i click the left arrows, then i enter 1x.( the up-down value, i set to 0 again).. i hit Preview…
the first part of the logo goes left as soon as i start scrolling, the other three parts still go down at the same time…
NOW i want the second part of the logo to start moving, when the first part has left the scene, not at the same time as the first part.
SO I SELECT THE SECOND PART AND DRAG ITS T-HANDLE (KEY POSITION) DOWN TO, LETS SAY, 200PX. SO IT STARTS MOVING ONLY AFTER THE CUSTOMER HAS REACHED THAT POINT, RIGHT?
BUT WHEN I PREVIEW THAT ****, THE LOGO IS NOT TOGETHER ANYMORE, THE SECOND PART IS FLOATING ANYWHERE ELSE BUT WHERE IT SHOULD BE…..WTFF????
short: when i move the t handle, the initial position of the object changes. thats what i said to the adobe employee, but he said, that thats the expected behavior….
but if thats so, how can i have my four parts correctly together, so they form my logo, but with different t handles, so that they all start to move at different times??
Pleeease help me, i am dying of frustration here…..:( that behavior cant be right, right?

But i really wonder how you did that. did you always switch between design view and preview view, then change the key position for 2px then switch back, to align the four letters? because i imagine that can get really frustrating, if you have a logo consisting of 58 parts instead of 4!:)

Help! Having Serious Issues and need to save my data!!!

This is probably going to be a long post, and I apologie in advance, but before I give up completely, I need to see if there's anything that I can do to save the data on my computer. Also, I'm writing this from work and don't have access to the system right now, so I'm going to have to rely on my questionable memory to relay the situation.
Since the battery update was installed, I was having intermittent issues with my MBP battery - when I was fully charged, it only showed about 1:45 of time left (down from a usual 3:00 or so). When it would get down to about 50 minutes left, the system would shut off with no warning. I was about to take the system into the Apple Store to get the battery replaced last week, but just to make sure, I followed the instructions to reset the battery and after that was done, it seemed like the battery was fine (showed up as about 3:00 fully charged). But... the system started working very slowly.
As a result, I decided to try to back up the system (I use SuperDuper and backup to an external USB drive). The backup failed mid-stream and my backup file was now useless (that's the last time I use the erase before backing up option). So now I don't have a backup of my data (all of my data is on that laptop).
I tried running Disk Utility, by booting from the installation DVD, to Repair the disk and it stopped with an invalid node error. I tried again, but no joy. A third time, it appears to have completed. However, now when I boot the system, not only is it really slow, but it boots into some unfamiliar linux prompt ("I don't have a name#:", or something like that.
Since I still think that there was a file system problem, I bought a copy of DiskWarrior 4. However, I don't want to wait for the bootable CD, so I tried to install the OS on the external USB drive so I could run it from there. Everytime I tried to install to the USB drive, I got a kernel panic when the IT Tunes install script was loaded. Every time. I tried removing the second (add-on) RAM stick, removing the battery, etc. No joy. Finally on about the 10th attempt, this time on battery power only (no power cable connected), I managed to get the OS to install on the USB drive.
Okay, so now I can boot to the USB drive. I installed Disk Warrior 4 and ran it on the internal hard drive. Kernel Panic. Every time I've run it (error is about unlocking mutex). Even more frustrated now, I tried to backup the disk again (since all my data is on there, I can't afford to lose any of it). No joy. The backup (using SuperDuper or CloneCopyX) fails at various spots. I have some folders on the drive that I tried to copy off (about 7GB) that contain disk images and the like. That copy failed.
So now, I have un-backupable (is that a word) hard drive that I can't repair without kernel panics (although, now as I write this, I didn't try DW without the power cord). And what I need to know is if anyone can think of anything that I haven't tried to save my user data off of the system before I have to take it in to the Apple Store and potentially lose everything that's on it.
My number 1 concern right now is losing the data on the drive.
Can anyone help me at all?

You may not have the luxury of having another Mac but you must know someone who does. You need to boot your Mac into target disk mode. This is going to be your best bet as far as saving your files. Keep in mind that everytime you mess with this computer you are further endangering your data. Also, once your Mac is booted as a target disk, it may be possible to mount it on a windoze computer just to copy your files to another drive. I used to have one here and if i still did I would try this for you but I "offed" it in favor on running windoze (Parallels) on my MBP. But, one way or another, you need to get next to another computer.

Query regarding Advanced Pricing

I have an issue in setting up for a requirement,
There is an offer provided to the customer.
e.g customer buys ITEM A and ITEM B in the deal, then customer may be eligible for 10% discount on both ITEM A and ITEM B or customer is eligible for 20% discount on ITEM B only.
How to handle this in Advanced Pricing module.Provide the setup details.

Modifier Type Line - Other Item Discount
Item - Item A
Enter the following details in the 'Details Page'
Additional Buy Product - Item B
Get Item - Item A and Item B with 10% discount
Requirement 2
Modifier Header - Promotion
Modifier Type Line - Other Item Discount
Item - Item A
Enter the following details in the 'Details Page'
Additional Buy Product - Item B
Get Item - Item B with 20% discount

HT4864 Mail once again not "online"; Anyone else having this issue?

iCloud support indicates systems are all online; however, when I login to iCloud and try to access email from there, I get the message that an error has happened and there are "missing resources." Same thing that happened when somebody's server went down for nearly 48 hours a couple months ago!

You are right, the chances of finding a Comcast support person who knows how to do that is minimal, but it is very easy for you to do it.
Go to the Comcast website (Mail), go into the settings and choose to forward your incloming mail to your iCloud address, you can choose to delete the mail from Comcast when it is forwarded or just leave it in place.
No changes of email address are required but when you reply it will come form your iCloud address.
I'll post back with more info if you need it.
Go to your Comcast email page, select 'Email and Voice Preferences' then select Email, scroll down to 'Forwarding', it is self explanatory.

Our company sells consumer goods through our website store. We introduced a coupon system. The coupn system is that if u r a coupn member (means employees of the organisation) and if u put ur coupon no then the customer will be entitled for a discount of fixed Percentage.
How i put the values of coupn in pricing procedure,

we r not using condition records, so no acess sequence, we r manualy updating the conditions value in the pricing.
Is there any way to create a service material and put in the item level of Sales order with the name coupn, so 2 items in sales order, 1 is the main item and 2nd the coupon
1st item we put the price, 2nd item we put the percent discount for coupons, because we dont want to see this coupon discount in first item pricing

It turns on, but Freezes on the LG Logo. it currently goes into the LG Download Mode, and When I restore with LG's Mobile Support Tool, It finishes, reboots, and stays at the boot Logo. I was wondering if I can possibly get a replacement phone? This is a little upsetting, as i was hoping to have it transfered from prepaid to postpaid service next month

How to give advance pricing for the this diwali offer
1. For a stores, any thing worth more or equal to Rs 1000, INR purchasing bill (say Bill A) , a coupon will be issued which can be used only once for the next purchasing bill (say Bill B) which has to be more equal to Rs 200 INR, and discount of 20% is applicable for purchasing Bill (that is BIll B). No Coupon will be issued for Bill B, even if the purchasing amount be more or equal to 1000 INR after discounting.
