Having photo enlarge in Blog...need help
I need to be able to double click on photo in blog and have it enlarge to full size. This question has been asked here before but was never answered as I can see. This is a must for me to do what I need to do. I appreciate any help.
Thanks

I'm not sure that includes recommending a non-iWeb blog, but if you click once on the first photo here:
http://www.posterous.com/faq
...it will enlarge — although probably not to full size. (Click once again to return to its original size.)
And by using a non-iWeb blog, you'll avoid recurring problems such as these:

Filmstrip photo gallery scrolling effect, need help...
Heya,
If you visit
http://www.hookmedia.biz/cabinet_source/v4_f
and goto the photo gallery you'll notice that the photo gallery
works well except that the filmstrips doesn't scroll left or right.
Now, I built this one based off of a Kirupa tutorial, and when the
photo gallery is in a sepereate .swf it works great. But as soon as
I copy the frames to my site that particular effect, and only that,
stops working. Can anyone help me? Thanks!
You can access the fla at
http://www.hookmedia.biz/cabinet_source/v4_f/index.flaThanks aniebel, but I think that'll be a last resort for me
considering I'm nearly done with this one, I just need help fixing
whatever the issue is. But thanks a ton anyway!
PS The link to the tutorial is:

I'm trying to set up a pc for my grandmother so I can take over her old computer (macbook air). However she has 11000 photos on iPhoto and I need to move then all onto a storage device (about 30GB) but when I export them the computer doesn't copy all the information such as the date the photo was taken etc. Talking to a guy in the apple store he said i couldn't do it, but he was being pretty unhelpful so I was wondering if anyone here could give me an answer. How do you export from iPhoto while keeping all the information?
This User Tip
https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4921
has details of the options in the Export dialogue.
As to dates specifically:
There are two kinds of metadata involved when you consider jpeg or other image file.
One is the file data. This is what the Finder shows. This tells you nothing about the contents of the file, just the File itself.
The problem with File metadata is that it can easily change as the file is moved from place to place or exported, e-mailed, uploaded etc.
Photographs have also got both Exif and IPTC metadata. The date and time that your camera snapped the Photograph is recorded in the Exif metadata. Regardless if what the file date says, this is the actual time recorded by the camera.
Photo applications like iPhoto, Aperture, Lightroom, Picasa, Photoshop etc get their date and time from the Exif metadata.
When you export from iPhoto to the Finder new file is created containing your Photo (and its Exif). The File date is - quite accurately - reported as the date of Export.
However, the Photo Date doesn't change.
The problem is that the Finder doesn't work with Exif.
So, your photo has the correct date, and so does the file, but they are different things. To sort on the Photo date you'll need to use a photo app. -
my iTunes detects photos on my iPhone and it's taking up almost 4 GB, but there are no photos on my iPhone…. need help
This means you have 4Gb of photos in your trash.
Go to Photos - recently deleted (an option in the same menu as "camera roll" and "photo stream") and finally delete the photos.
The 4Gb of space will then be cleared. -

Photos from Iphoto gone need help
Yesterday I did apps updates on my macbook air (yosemite), after that i tried to open iphoto but with came up with a message that the library is rebuilding.
After that, a new folder with "recovered photos" came up but no photos are showing - its all blank.
I tried time capsule - not working. I tried the master folder and its not working. I really need all my photos as I have my photography deadline for university in 3 days, and all of my work was backed up on iphoto
Any help would be much appreciated
I am using OS x Yosemite 10.10.1 on macbook air from 2013, 1.3 Ghz Intel Core i5, 4GB memory, iphoto 9.6Again this is not clear
A Time Capsule is a piece of hardware that includes an airport router and a backup hard drive - it can be used as an external hard drive or it can be used as the location of your TimeMachine backup - how are you using it? If it is a TimeMachine backup then yu use TimeMachine to select and restore your desired library - Mac Basics: Time Machine backs up your Mac - Apple Support
Please explain exactly what you have and how you are using it - are you running Time Machine?

I lost my iphone 5 couple of months ago...now i found it again but all the photos and vidoes are deleted and were not linked to i cloud.....can any body help how can i recover all my photos and vidoes which are deleted from my device.
Before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
- Did it ever work properly?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.
Posts that consist of "iPhoto doesn't work. Help" or "iPhoto won't print" or "Suddenly I have no photos!!!!!!!!!!" mean that any helper is simply guessing. With information, s/he may be able to get your issue resolved sooner. -
Trouble syncing photos onto iPad and need help
I recently purchased an iPad for a family member for Christmas and it had been working fine until last night. When they attempted to add another photo album to the already existing ones on the iPad, itunes ended the sync, when it says "syncing photos," saying "the required file could not be found" and took of all of the photos that were on the iPad. The photos are stored in the main 'Pictures' gallery in folders where it normally syncs fine; however we do not know how to fix this or get the photos back on. There is plenty of room left on the iPad to store the photos, we have updated the iPad and itunes, and it always works when we sync our iPods.
Any help would be much appreciated; thank-you!Hey AlanaRama:
It could be that one of the photos that you are trying to sync is corrupted (or something).
Try dividing the photos in half and try to sync each half to see if that helps to find the problem photo.

I have never been able to get Photo Stream to work. I keep getting a message that the exe. has failed and windows can not find an answer. Anyone else on a PC with Vista have this problem? Is it windows or vista or what? Help!
I had tried a repair and that didn't work so I did as you said. I uninstalled and reinstalled. This time I did it through Internet Explorer instead of Firefox. Also, I left the Photo Stream folder where iCloud suggested instead of moving it to my picture folder. Anyway, it working! Thank you.

Having Kernel Panic issues and need help
So about 6 months ago I had a HD crash, I restored it through disk utility and reloaded from my last time machine backup. Ever since then my computer would turn off randomly and I didn't know why, looked into it a bit more and thought the HD was bad so replaced it with a 500Gb SSD. When I got that I used a HD clone to copy the drive over and the problem still continued. I noticed it was when I would try and do something that might be a little taxing on the system like open a big program or stream something with other things open. All things that might stress the system, but nothing out of the ordinary and never had an issue for the years I had the computer before the crash. I looked into the issue more and have tried to trouble shoot the issue and this is what I have done/found thus far.
~Replaced HD to a SSD HD with no improvement
~Put new SSD in a totally different MCB and the issues still stand
~Reloaded Mavericks on the HD and it is still happening (Had an issue when trying to erase the HD in recovery, Disk Utility said it could unmount the disk when I clicked the drive, but if I clicked that name of the drive indented under neath it worked)
I have included my latest panic log in hopes for some help. The new MacBook Pro that I put my HD in I got second hand and said they were having some issues with it, but it only happened when they upgraded to Yosemite. There was nothing wrong with it previous, so I think I eliminated the possibility of it being a Hardware issue, but not 100% on that. Thanks for the help, Chris

From there I used the bootable disk that came with the computer which put snow leopard on. From there I upgrade through the app store to Mavericks, I used the computer all night with no issues or reboots at all, was finally able to run a Hardware diagnostic with nothing showing up there after the extended test. I am now running Mavericks and am transferring data off my external, but only the essentials such as music and pictures with fresh installs of all applications. Everything was going great... until about 5 min ago. As I was transferring about 250Gb of music I opened a browser and had a kernel panic shutdown. I have included the log, hoping it was just a fluke thing, but don't have any faith at this point

IPod photo and stereo reciever--need help
I have a 30-gig iPod Photo from about 2006. It works great but I'm wondering if anyone knows why it won't play the songs through my Pioneer Elite stereo receiver. I have a USB input and iPod option that plays my iPod Nano perfectly. But the receiver doesn't even detect the iPod Photo. I realize it's older, but why wouldn't it play songs on it when it does the Nano?? Thanks.
I have the same problem that you do. I have tried all, restart, reboot, restore to its original settings and nothing. I have tried using the battery to run it off and I have charged it again and nothing happened. The equipment reproduces music, but with a white screem is imposible to operate it. I guess I will try to use the warranty, but I live abroad the US. If you have any progress, please let me know. Good luck, regards, ajlorenzos

Photos not transferring. Need help quick
I can transfer music and contacts to my new ipod photo but my photos do not transfer. I have checked preferences and have even tried dragging photos to the photo folder on the ipod. Nothing. I have rebooted my computer several times and reset the ipod also. Haven't tried dragging the thumbnails, but now the ipod desktop icon does not stay on the desktop long enough for me to open it.
I am using a PowerBook G4 with Tiger, iPhoto 2 version is 2.0. In 3 days I am heading to Tasmania for a 5 month stay and was hoping to use my new ipod partly for photo storage. Any suggestions will be tried and appreciated! Thanks.
