  • Having problems saving JPEG on my system

Photoshop is buggy, broken software. I frequently have to go back to CS4 to complete tasks, which makes me angry I'm paying £37 a month for the privilige of "renting" CC.
Today, it won't save jpgs. Says it is, but when I browse to the folder in finder, they're not there.

When you ctrl-click the name at the top of the image (in non-tabbed view) and open the Folder from there is the file absent nonetheless?
Could you please post a screenshot to illustrate the issue?

Personally I find Adobe’s move to the cloud license model regrettable in the extreme but what you have mentioned so far does not really proof anything is wrong with Photoshop yet.

Never mind, I already found the solution myself.
    What I did wrong was:
    - not copying the master image to the nbi folder
    - selecting the netinstall-restore.dmg image as source to copy to my HD.
The thing is, when you create a netinstall image for 10.5, the image itself is already included in the netinstall image so you don't have to do anything else.
With the 10.4 image however, you also have to copy the master image to the NetBootSP0 directory.
In the *.nbi folder contains an netinstall-restore.dmg file. But that is only to boot you to netrestore, it's not the image itself.
Other alternative is to copy the images to another folder that you share with AFP and adjust the configuration of netrestore like described in this manual:
    http://www.shellharbourd.det.nsw.edu.au/pdf/misc/osxrestoringnet.pdf
This manual was also how I figured out that I forgot to copy the image to the NetBootSP0 folder.

  • I am having problems saving certain images

I am having problems saving certain images. For example, on Ebay while viewing an auction item, when you click on the image to view the larger picture it opens in a new window. With Internet Explorer, you can "right-click" and "save picture as". With Firefox 3.6.9 the "save picture as" option is not availabale. Other options such as save "save page as" are available, but not "save as," or "save picture as." Any ideas? Thanks

I have found a solution to the problem. Apparently there is an addon to fix this. Had no idea a specific google search for "trouble saving images on ebay" would turn up anything.

  • Having problems saving contacts on 4s after reset caused by disabling

Am having problems saving contacts manually on my iPhone 4S after total restore caused by disabling. Can anyone help.

In case of ur memory card there are different options available to you to get rid of the corrupt/unwanted data in your card.
menu--installations--application manager--remove the unwanted application....... in ur case themes
    menu--tools--memory---options---format memory card......
remember everything including ur factory installed apps will be deleted......... but u can always download them later either from nokia or google them...
or insert ur card in any reader or laptop and check for virus and also the hidden folders....... if there is something left of the application then u will find it in the hidden folders and delete it.......

  • Having problems saving files in CS2

I'm learning the program: Classroom in a book from InDesign CS2. In the beginning when the file was small I was having no problem saving the doc. But after The doc got bigger and I had done many things to it, I would save the doc, the save word in file was gray as it is suppose to be, then I would close the file. When I reopened the doc all my work would be gone. I have recreated this 3 times now and the same thing keeps happening, NO SAVED FILE. What am I doing wrong??? Thank you advance for your help, Sherrine

How are you opening the file (double-clicking an icon, File > Open,
File > Open Recent, etc.)? Are you saving/opening over a network? It
sounds to me like you may be opening the wrong file. Try doing some work
on the file, and then Save As to a unique name. Then use File > Open
Recent to open the file and see if your changes are there.

  • Having problems saving patches in  ultra beat ..plus samples not been moved

My problem with ultra beat..i might save a patch in ultra beat..re-open a next track arrangement..to find the sample are missing and need reloading...so my new problem is...i can make temples from old track with the ultra beat sounds patches working..But remains missing on new project if not a template start... so i cant really build a drum bank of sound in ultra beat...really wired Bug....But a real pain...Ex24 ok ...But thats played out for Drums now....Plus i found saving a project with ultra beat sample included.would keep working on that project.but then missing on others..which gave me no option but to make templete from the working tracks...have anyone els experiance or have knowledge on this problem....

I opened PSE Preferences for Saving Files, and checked off append files with extensions "always" and "OK", but when I go back to the same Preference Panel, it has reverted to Never, which is the default position. I am wondering if this is the source of my problems.
Yes. It is a known bug. Your options are to trash the prefs again and never, never, never open the Saving Files preferences pane again (just going there causes this), or to add the file extension in manually when saving. (The default position is Always, but merely opening the saving files preference sets it to Never.)

  • Having problems saving files

Hi all, been having a problem with Motion. I am currently running version 2.0.1, and the application will not let me save any files at all. I am stumped, could someone give me some ideas that I might not have though of yet.
    Thanks.

If its the tutorials you're doing and you have copied the folders over from the DVDROM, they still keep a read only setting. You need to change that before you'll be able to save to them...

  • Still having problems saving passwords

I have followed the instructions contained in:
    http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/make-firefox-remember-usernames-and-passwords?s=Saving+Passwords&r=5&e=es&as=s
But I still cannot get the browser to prompt me to save the password. I have deleted and reinstalled Firefox twice today. The first time without deleting personal data and the second time with deletion, but still I cannot get the browser to store passwords. I am at a loss as to how to continue.

This can also be caused by hardware acceleration not working properly.

  • Having problems saving my iweb file

I'm creating a large website with plenty of quicktime files
which are movie snippets from my reel as a commercial
and film editor. Maybe I've reached a limit in terms of size,
I don't know, but if I add new changes, the file doesn't like
it and it quits. Is there a way to adjust the size? Does
apple limit you? Is there a way to trick it. I don't think
I'm doing anything tricky. They're just quicktimes and jpegs.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    Fritz

You might want to change your .mac settings in idisk. Allocate more space to you iweb space. This should solve the problem of space. Or you could buy more space but with the little experience I have you might want to host a data heavy site somewhere faster. Like Go Daddy

  • Anybody having problems saving as TIFF??

Has anybody else had issues saving as TIFF (from Photoshop CS5 or Photomatix) since adding Lion? At first I thought it was a Photoshop issue but Photomatix won't save TIFFs without crashing (colour wheel...) either so I am thinking this may be an OSX issue... I have a new Mac so I doubt it's a hardware issue (hope not).

  • Having problems saving a processed photo in CS3 & bridge

I have all of a sudden encountered a problem that when I process a photo in CS3 bridge and try to save it (no matter where) the photo reverts back to its non processed form. I then have to go back and reopen it in bridge, click on the default and then click done on the bottom of the screen.
    Thanks
    Jerry

    gerald,
    You are
still not making yourself clear. I can waste everyone's time and guess. But for us to get a solution to your problem, please use the
exact terms and steps you've followed. For instance:
    >Get image from card into bridge.
How? What does this mean? Are you working off your memory card?
    >Open bridge make corrections and then save it to a folder on my desktop.
What kinds of corrections? Is this still a .jpg file?
    >The photo is corrected when it enters the folder
How does a photo "enter" a folder?
    >In order to get it back to the processed image i have to click on the default button on the bridge raw screen everytime I reopen the image.
What "default" button? What does it say? Where is it?
    >When I reopen in bridge or photoshop the image looks as it did before it was processed.
But how does it look in or print from Photoshop? Are the raw editing sliders in their default positions or are they as you've set them?
    Etc.
Please answer these points when you get back to us. Thanks!

You dont have to write a whole program to read and write BMP files, rather I would recommend you to use latest version of JAVA.
Java version 5 supports reading and writing of BMP images :)
    File file = new File("walkleft.bmp");
BufferedImage bi = ImageIO.read(file);   // Here u can read bmp images
ImageIO.write(BufferedImage, "bmp", new File("newimage.bmp"); //Same way you can write themCheers

  • Having problems saving images on safari after iOS 7.1 update -

whenever i use safari to search images on Google and i want to save the image i hold down and i have the following options
    > Open
    > Open in New Page
    > Add to Reading List
    > Copy
    but no
    > Save Image
i have to click onto the actual picture which directs me to its original web page where it was posted to be able to hold down onto picture for "save image" option to appear whereas before the update it was simpler to save images on the search result page instead on having to open the pictures up individually. Has anyone else come across this annoying new feature? instead of simplifying things they've slightly made it more of a hassle to save images grrrr

    Hi Captwoodse,
Thanks for your reply, after trying your method i actually found out that if i click on a picture in google images mode in safari and don't wait for it to fully load and hold down my finger on the picture the save image option comes up amongst the others. However if i do wait for it to load completely i only have the options i listed in my original question. I tried your technique you suggested but again it was hit and miss with save image option appearing. So it looks like ill just have to be quick with my thumb and press down on picture before it loads! Lets hope my EE 4G connection is slower then my thumb skills
    Thank you none the less
