Having problem with facebook notifications

Hey I am having problem with my Facebook notifications because each time there is one there is no sound , although every option related to sound is on .
Can you help me?

Ok so apparently they FIXED it!!
-Go to the facebook app on phone
-Go to Account Settings
-Go to Notifications
-Go to Mobile Push
-Look at the top of the screen and it said "Sound for push notifications"
-Edit it to ON for all notifications
They fixed it I now receive sounds for notifications!!!!!

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again

i am having problem with facebook app . the problem is that whenever i logout i still appear to be online .my friends tell me that i am always online but i hardly come on facebook for half an hour on my ipod touch .please tell how to solve this problem coz this can get misunderstanding between me and my friends that being offline they would still think that i am online and not replying them on purpose so please help...thank you..

Facebook is basically broken, at least as far as it pertains to mobile browsers. THey changed something in their coding and now mobile browsers don't work with facebook. ANd their app, well their app has been less than stellar for a long time.
Unfortunately, it's up to facebook to fix things, not apple. All you can do is find work arounds. Look for third party apps, I have one called Facely HD which seems to work reasonably well (even though it does seem to not see all posts). There may be others that work better. You can also simply not access facebook on your mobile until they fix it.
It's all on them and users can only be patient or find other ways to work around it.

Take a screen shot of the picture and move it to the desk top. Click the camera icon at the top of the reply window and follow the on screen instructions.
Any issues you are having with Facebook should be reported to them, not Apple.

I am having problems with Facebook.

Two days ago we switched our internet company over from Hughes Net to Century Link. When we had Hughes Net, Facebook worked perfectly fine, other than it being slow simply because Hughes Net sucks. Now that we have Century Link, I decided to update to the newer version of Firefox. I noticed Facebook would not load properly after we changed companies, and I thought maybe it was because I needed to update Firefox, so I did that, but it didn't help at all. Every other site but Facebook and Youtube worked. When I would go to Youtube, where the video would be, would only have a black box in its place and would do nothing else for any video. Someone said I should try the secure site of Youtube, so I did and that worked. But I still cannot get Facebook to work. No matter what account I sign into, it only pulls up the top of the page (the blue strip at the top that says Account, Home, etc), and the rest of the page would be white. It won't let me click on anything dealing with the Facebook page after I log in. I'm on our main PC, which does not work with Facebook, yet it works on my sisters laptop. I've tried everything in the help section of Firefox...from clearing cookies to checking extensions and updates. Nothing works. Please help!

There are several other Facebook apps. Each has different features. You might try a different one.

Z10 user having problem with Facebook app.....

When I launch app, I reecieve "Facebook did not return any stories" - "Tab to retry"....When I check my news feeds on the facebook website there are news feeds. So it does not appear that APP is syncing with website. I have done the following already:
1. rebooted z10
2. updated bb 10 operating system (May 16, 2013)
3. updated fb app (May 17, 2013)
As a side note I also have a Q10 which is having the same issues.

So FB decided to start working again - if you look on Crackberry loads of people having the same issues, looks to be something to do with the type of updates people make - eg, linking to videos. How hard can it be for BB to sort this out?? I've posted on here, to BB UK via Twitter and direct to the FB development email address ... pretty poor overall tbh.

Problem with facebook notifications

I haven't seen this addressed yet: when I click on a notification on my iphone, it almost always brings me to the information page for flixter in the app store, not the web site specified in the notification. I have tried clearing the history, cache, etc. for safari; I have uninstalled the program (facebook); done a hard reset...all to no avail. This is really annoying...thank God it's not an application that I really depend on! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would hold on doing any kind of restore. Perhaps another user will have some suggestions to try first. It's also possible it will just clear on it's on.
In the mean time you can do some basic troubleshooting steps. Test after each step to see if it fixed the notifications issue.
Safe boot
* shutdown
* start the Mac and *wait* for the startup chime to sound
* after the sound, press and hold down the shift key
* keep holding and *wait* until the grey  Apple logo appears
* now release the shift key and just wait (it could take a few minutes)
* eventually the login screen appears with the words SAFE BOOT
* Restart normally
Boot into the Recovery Drive by holding down Command R when restarting.
Run Repair Drive and Repair Permissions using Disk Utility in Recovery.
Run the combo updater:

Apple updates available from the Software Update application are incremental updates. Delta updates are also incremental updates and are available from Apple Downloads (software updates are generally smaller than delta updates). The Combo updates contain all incremental updates and will update files that could have become corrupted.
Combo updaters will install on the same version as they're applying--no need to roll back or do a clean install.
"Delta" updaters can only take you from one version to the next. For example: 10.10.2 to 10.10.3. If somehow the 10.10.2 is missing something it should have, and that something isn't changed between 10.10.2and 10.10.3 it will still be stale after the delta update.
Reinstall OS X
Like the combo updater you can run the full Yosemite installer over your current install. Go to App Store > Purchases. Select Yosemite and select to download. Select yes to continue and download again.

Having problems with the notifications for iPad 2

I recently updated my Twitter app on my iPad 2...but since I updated the app, the push notifications aren't working anymore...I've tried to disable and enable the notifications in Settings...I even tried uninstalling and re-installing the app, but there's no results..what should I do???

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

I am having problem with my notifications bar and control centre bar. It doesn't work with sliding my fingers on the screen and when I restart the phone it works properly but again after few days the problem persist? My phone is an iphone6 8.1.3

First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not help, set it up as new device, explained here:
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If still no luck, get it checked by visiting an Authorized Apple Service Provider or contact Apple Support to get it serviced:

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.
