Having problem with my nokia 5230

Hi, i have purchased nokia 5230 one month before. After one week i have notied that my phone network has some trouble in automatically accessing the network. I am using airtel network and then i contacted the shop and they said it may be sim problem so they said to take duplicate of the sim. After taking the duplicate sim then also the problem existed. Again i contacted them. This they said to update the software, so i gone to nokia care and updated the software and they said the problem will be solved. Then after a day when ichecked again the problem exists. So again i contacted the nokia care this time they took the phone and said they send the phone to nokia for company service and said to come back after 15 days. Yesterday they called me the phone is ok and ready to collect. So got the phone and when i checked again this problem exists. This time i tried using another network Aircel and it shows no problem. Now it clear it has some problem with airtel network. Please can any one help me to sort this problem. I am using software v20.0.005.

Is your 5230 set to dual mode (GSM + UMTS) in the network settings? Switch to GSM only and observe the difference.

Try uninstall - reinstall of the HERE Maps and HERE Drive+ applications .. Also delete any maps data .. and reinstall fresh maps ..

I'm having problems with my Nokia Navigator 6110

Hi. Can anyone help me regarding the camera function on a Nokia Navigator 6110? The phone has 2 cameras, a main one on the back and a smaller one on the front. I cannot seem to activate the main camera, it has the less powerful front camera set as my default and I can't seem to change it to the main camera. If anyone has this phone, please advise how to fix the prob. Cheers, CM

i'll just repeat here some of the points i've read about the problem and it's possible solutions:
1- some reported that removal of the battery and the sim card from the phone for sometime and then restarting it solved the problem .
2- a corrupted file on the mem card maybe causing the problem, remove the memory card, restart the phone, and try using the camera, if it started normal then , you have to format the memorycard.
3- a recent corrupted file was installing an application, if you have installed anything just before this problem started , remove it and try the camera.
4- it's reported that formmating the phone never helped solve the problem in some cases "although you can try that" but the only solution was reinstallation on the firmware .
5- the usual common answer go to nokia care point

Problems with a nokia 5230

I have this phone on contract with o2 and everything was going fine then when typing a message and pressing the delete button a few times it starts to delete the whole text message and can't stop it till you press the green tick in the corner and gets very fustrating and recently im not getting the message notification on the screen till I go in the inbox and see an unread message. This phone is nothing but trouble and is getting close to a date with a hammer,
any one any idea how to fix these problems ?

Strange problem with my nokia 5230

Recently i sent my phone of for repair and when i got it back i have this strange problem, the screen goes big when i go on the internet, now before there used to be a full screen icon and if i clicked that the screen would go back to normal size, now this icon seems to be missing from my phone does anyone know how i can get it back? I have to press the silly arrow at the bottom of the screen all the time if i want to go back a page and it has become very annoying!

No. You can not downgrade the firmware...
New firmwares have so many advantages.. If the behaviour you have mentioned is not like the earlier version.. once you get used to it you may in fact like it..

Problem with Installing Nokia Ovi Store in E51

I am having problem with installing nokia Ovi store in my E51. Whenever I try to download Ovi store from my E51, it shows a error message that the component is built in and cannot be installed. I dont know wat to do now. Can anyone please give me some advice. Thanks in advance.

This means that the Ovi Store is currently installed in your E52 phone, what I can suggest is try checking under Application Manager > Installed Application, check if the Ovi Store is there. If you can't see it, try to perform the soft reset (press *#7780# on the main screen of the phone and it will prompt you restore all original phone settings? phone will restart. Press YES and it will ask you for the lock code 12345.) If anything else please reply to this message.

i have problem with a nokia 5310 xpress and a bluetooth!i can transfer anything from my phone to pc with or without pc suite! but when i want to transfer files from pc to phone i doesen"t work! with pcsuite soethings work but very slow! i want to transfer files witout pcsuite !
the blue tooth adapter it is dongle and it the software that i use is BlueSoleil 2.6.08

I am having problem with reinstalling my software with Nokia Suite. It shows while backing up the data that phone memory is full. However already I have exhausted all the options for freeing phone memory.
I need to reinstall my software as my mobile phone is causing some problem.
I have Asha 305 phone. Kindly reply back if you could help me.

Thanks for replying.
The reason i wish to reinstall software in my cellphone because of 'deletion of certificates'. It shows a 'Certificate Invalid, Check date and time settings'. Furthermore, my nokia browser has restored to its default version. And the mail does not work.
Re backup: I am unable to create backup following the mentioned instruction, it again pops the memory issue.
I have already tried to reset my mobile, both the settings and the full reset, which at maximum saves me a free phone memory of 6.0 MB. Moreover I have also tried the option in Nokia Suite, 'Free some space'. That too could not help me out.
If you can help me out, kindly reply.

Sorry for the late reply. My email firewall has become a little over zealous & sent a lot of my emails straight to my junk email folder, so I have only just now discovered your reply in my junk mail folder.
The only "don't open files exceeding xxx megabytes" instruction I can find in my Prefs, is in the Bridge Prefs for Thumbnails, & mine is set at 1000mb. The biggest files I handle are bigger than 200mb so I should be able to open a few, not just one.
However, this doesn't explain why I can open a psd format file of 180mb, close it, but then can't open a RAW format file of only 26mb immediately after.
I can open the RAW file only if I restart my computer - very annoying!
However, thanks for the advice about the video card & memory.

This is a major problem with Lollipop, but yo said it started 2 months ago. Several people have fixed problem by removing FaceBook And Face book messenger and then re loading the apps again. You might want to clear your cache before reloading. Not sure this is your problem, but worth a try. Good Luck

Memory problem with my Nokia 3220

Hi,I am new here and I have a memory problem with my Nokia 3220.I deleted all of my stuff in galery exept the BlueSquare theme and Nokia Tune but it says that i only have 483kb free memory and galery has 1,7mb memory taken. I have the same problem recently. I bought my nokia 3220, 3 years ago and all was ok but now I download some free themes from a web site and suddenly I realized that my cellphone has less memory. HT1657 I am having problems with sound in my rental movies

We rent movies all the time but lately we are having problems with sound for our movie rentals. We watch the first half hour without a problem than the voice is choppy all the time. Sometimes it is good for five minutes than noting for a while. We have tried everything we could think of with no avail. I could see one movie but the last 5 or so have been the same. You should be able to use the battery if you get a car type charger which recharges mobile devices.
The full size iPads use a 10-12W charger, whereas the mini uses a 5W charger. Many car chargers only supply 5W. But at 5W, the car charger should give you some extra time on your iPad. It would be best to use a 10-12W car charger.
