When I am in dreamweaver the site looks fine and when I preview in browser also looks fine but when I have uploaded to server there is the problem as you can see.
I uploaded all the files that are required I think . I have attached a screen grab of my server view below. : I have six spry files : js,css and four giff files : I have included the code below. I would apprecaite help as been at this for best part of day with no luck ; going mad here

    <p>Welcome! </p>
    <p>Hunt Films was set up in January 2011 by documentary maker Barry Hunt.</p>
    <p>Barry received training in TV and Video Production with FÁS in Tralee, Co Kerry. During this training Barry produced a series of short films about local artists. In 2006 he worked as assistant editor on the successful RTÉ drama series, ‘Love is the Dfile:///Users/barryhunt/Desktop/Picture%201.pngrug’.</p>
    <p>Since 2010 Barry has embarked on solo projects producing two entertaining half hour documentaries. 'Liberation', explores the world of pigeon racing in Dublin. This film was very well received at the Galway Film Festival 2011. More recently Barry produced 'The Gregory Seat', a documentary which follows Maureen O'Sullivan’s campaign to be elected in the 2011 General Election.</p>
    <p>Barry looks forward to producing more documentaries. He is interested in human stories and hopes that this will form the basis of his future work. At present, Barry is developing projects for film festivals and general broadcast    </p>

          padding: 0;
          text-align: center; /* this centers the container in IE 5* browsers. The text is then set to the left aligned default in the #container selector */

/* Tips for Elastic layouts
1. Since the elastic layouts overall sizing is based on the user's default fonts size, they are more unpredictable. Used correctly, they are also more accessible for those that need larger fonts size since the line length remains proportionate.
2. Sizing of divs in this layout are based on the 100% font size in the body element. If you decrease the text size overall by using a font-size: 80% on the body element or the #container, remember that the entire layout will downsize proportionately. You may want to increase the widths of the various divs to compensate for this.
3. If font sizing is changed in differing amounts on each div instead of on the overall design (ie: #sidebar1 is given a 70% font size and #mainContent is given an 85% font size), this will proportionately change each of the divs overall size. You may want to adjust based on your final font sizing.

          padding: 0 10px 0 20px;  /* this padding matches the left alignment of the elements in the divs that appear beneath it. If an image is used in the #header instead of text, you may want to remove the padding. */
.oneColElsCtrHdr #header h1 {

    Note that running your page through the W3C Validator gives this list of errors: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bataviabulldogfootball.tk%2F&charset=%2 8detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0
    I see that you have a very thin doctype at the top. I suggest you create a new page in Dreamweaver and copy the bit at the top of the page:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
    Then put that code in place of these lines from your current page:
    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8" />
    I see that you have two opening <body> tags. Delete one; it is not needed. Add the preload images from the second into the first body tag and delete the second.
    I see code below the closing </html> tag. Re position it before the closing </body> tag.
    Because of these errors mentioned above, it was impossible to see the page. Fix and reply here when you have done so.
    Also, it is not possible for me to divine what difficulty you are having. If you can please also express it in English (LOL), I'll be happy to suggest a correction for you!

  • Problem with Spry Menu Bar 2.0 (1.0) re - CSS

    Hello:
    I am having some difficulty with a Spry Menu Bar (horizontal) 2.0 (1.0)  that I have created.  Initially I thought the problem was with regard to rendering issues on IE 6.0, however the problem seems to be more general than that and I have come to believe that it has to do with the CSS created by the Widget Browser and modified once imported into the webpage.  Hence I have elected to post my issue here rather than on the spry page.
    I have relied on the tutorial provided by David Powers (Bayside.css) and in addition other documentation regarding the Spry menu bar UI.  The problem appeared to be one of IE 6 rendering the page with a gap that is created when the drop down menus appear, thus pushing down any divs that appear below the page.
    However, through a painstaking process of trial and error my problem now seems to be that when I export the CSS generated by the widget browser to an external style sheet (the general style sheet governing the whole site), it conflicts with other CSS styles regarding links etc.  The end result is that all the padding, background colours, background images, and text colours are lost.  So long as the CSS remains within the head this doesn't happen.
    My thinking is that this must have to do with issues of specificity, inheritence, etc.
    The site can be viewed at the following URL: http://www.aclco.org/testing/index.html.  In its current form all CSS related to the menu bar is found in the head of each page.  (see CSS below).
    My question is can I establish a separate style sheet for the horizontal menu bar and have those styles applied specifically (and only) to the menu bar.  My only other alternative is to work through the remainder of the general style sheet and work through any issues of specificity/inheritance -- which may be the "best" practice, but it risks causing other "cascading" [sic] problems elsewhere.
    Any advice or suggestions or directed reading (that would point to a solution) that could be offered would be greatly appreciated.
    Steve Webster
    The CSS governing the horizontal menu bar is as follows:  (currently the following CSS is embedded in the head of the web page)
    <style type="text/css">
    /*  -- Begins Spry Menu Widget 2.0 (1.0) Horizontal menu bar Custom styles --  */
    /* BeginOAWidget_Instance_2141544: #MenuBar */
    /* Settable values for skinning a Basic menu via presets. If presets are not sufficient, most skinning should be done in
        these rules, with the exception of the images used for down or right pointing arrows, which are in the file SpryMenuBasic.css
         These assume the following widget classes for menu layout (set in a preset)
        .MenuBar - Applies to all menubars - default is horizontal bar, all submenus are vertical - 2nd level subs and beyond are pull-right.
        .MenuBarVertical - vertical main bar; all submenus are pull-right.
        You can also pass in extra classnames to set your desired top level menu bar layout. Normally, these are set by using a preset.
        They only apply to horizontal menu bars:
            MenuBarLeftShrink - The menu bar will be horizontally 'shrinkwrapped' to be just large enough to hold its items, and left aligned
            MenuBarRightShrink - Just like MenuBarLeftShrink, but right aligned
            MenuBarFixedLeft - Fixed at a specified width set in the rule '.MenuBarFixedLeft', and left aligned.
            MenuBarFixedCentered -  - Fixed at a specified width set in the rule '.MenuBarFixedCentered',
                            and centered in its parent container.
            MenuBarFullwidth - Grows to fill its parent container width.
        In general, all rules specified in this file are prefixed by #MenuBar so they only apply to instances of the widget inserted along
        with the rules. This permits use of multiple MenuBarBasic widgets on the same page with different layouts. Because of IE6 limitations,
        there are a few rules where this was not possible. Those rules are so noted in comments.
    #MenuBar  {
        background-color:transparent;
        font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; /* Specify fonts on on MenuBar and subMenu MenuItemContainer, so MenuItemContainer,
                                                    MenuItem, and MenuItemLabel
                                                    at a given level all use same definition for ems.
                                                    Note that this means the size is also inherited to child submenus,
                                                    so use caution in using relative sizes other than
                                                    100% on submenu fonts. */

    /* IE6 rules - you can delete these if you do not want to support IE6 */
    /* A note about multiple classes in IE6.
    * Some of the rules above use multiple class names on an element for selection, such as "hover" (MenuItemHover) and "has a subMenu" (MenuItemWithSubMenu),
    * giving the selector '.MenuItemWithSubMenu.MenuItemHover'.
    * Unfortunately IE6 does not support using mutiple classnames in a selector for an element. For a selector such as '.foo.bar.baz', IE6 ignores
    * all but the final classname (here, '.baz'), and sets the specificity accordingly, counting just one of those classs as significant. To get around this
    * problem, we use the plugin in SpryMenuBarIEWorkaroundsPlugin.js to generate compound classnames for IE6, such as 'MenuItemWithSubMenuHover'.
    * Since there are a lot of these needed, the plugin does not generate the extra classes for modern browsers, and we use the CSS2 style mutltiple class
    * syntax for that. Since IE6 both applies rules where
    * it should not, and gets the specificity wrong too, we have to order rules carefully, so the rule misapplied in IE6 can be overridden.
    * So, we put the multiple class rule first. IE6 will mistakenly apply this rule.  We follow this with the single-class rule that it would
    * mistakenly override, making sure the  misinterpreted IE6 specificity is the same as the single-class selector, so the latter wins.
    * We then create a copy of the multiple class rule, adding a '.SpryIsIE6' class as context, and making sure the specificity for
    * the selector is high enough to beat the single-class rule in the "both classes match" case. We place the IE6 rule at the end of the
    * css style block to make it easy to delete if you want to drop IE6 support.
    * If you decide you do not need IE6 support, you can get rid of these, as well as the inclusion of the SpryMenuBarIEWorkaroundsPlugin.js script.
    * The 'SpryIsIE6' class is placed on the HTML element by  the script in SpryMenuBarIEWorkaroundsPlugin.js if the browser is Internet Explorer 6. This avoids the necessity of IE conditional comments for these rules.

    Hello Martin:
    Thanks for your input.  However I am not certain we have resolved this issue adequately, or understand the principles governing the css as regards this spry menu framework 2.0 (1.0).
    For example, the menu only works in IE 6.0 if the css remains in the head.  I agree with your original post that it shouldn't make any difference whether the css is posted in the head or in a separate style sheet (so long as specificity issues are addressed).  Both should work -- and yet it doesn't.
    If the CSS is placed in the separate style sheet governing the total site, it doesn't work for 6.0.  If placed at the top of the style sheet, conflicts of specificity prevent the menu from rendering properly in any of the browsers causing the rules for general links to govern the menu.   This has been verified using a cross browser testing.  If the styles are placed at the bottom of the style sheet to help them take precedence, they work in all the browsers except for IE 6.
    The website I am building needs to support IE 6 for a variety of reasons, and because it is catering to the non-profit community and to low income persons, I am mindful of even small differences in page weight.
    So for me, at least, the issue remains baffling.
    I appreciate your input, but also would appreciate the input from others, and especially Adobe Community Professionals and employees.  The spry framework in this regard is not well documented.  I am not certain if this is exclusively a CSS problem, if it might also be complicated by the architecture of the spry framework, or if indeed other variables are at play.
    I would be my hope that in resolving the problem, other users of the this particular spry framework might also benefit.
    Thanks,
    Steve.

  • Problem with Spry Menu

    I have two problems related with Spry Menubar in Dreamweaver CS3.
    First I would like to make the menu transparent (I have a nice graphic I would like to show under). I cannot make it in IE. I wonder if anybody has any ideas.
    Second my menu has a strange behaviour.
    I use the following code to load a page named test1.html into a div named MyDiv of the page that has the menu:
    <li><a href="javascript:loadURL('Test1t.html','Mydiv');" target="_parent">Item1.1</a></li>
    the LoadURL function runs correctly.
    However the first time I load the page in IE I need to click 2 times on Item1.1 to load test1.html. After that the menu works correctly loading test1.html with only one click. Pretty strange!!!!
    Any help is very much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Carly

  • Problem with spry menu bar position:fixed?

    Hello technical heros,
    I'm having trouble with my website's spry menu bar... here is the site.
    As you can see, when you scroll down, the spry menu overlaps the header fixed block, which the rest of the content smoothly scrolls under. How do I tell the spry object to do the same?
    I also want the sidebar 2 (menu bar) to be a fixed block like my header and footer. I know how to do this, but when I change the css, it throws my spry menu over to the left of the page, ontop of my sidebar 1.
    Help, please!!

    Hi,
    Have a look here: http://www.w3schools.com/Css/css_positioning.asp
    I hope this helps.

  • Internet Explorer Problem with Spry Menu Bar

    http://www.cloud9industries.com/clients/jewelryworld/index4.html
    OK here we go
    #1) In IE, the toolbar doesn't appear with the same decreased
    opacity as it does in Firefox and Safari. I'm using a png
    background image with a transparent background and I've defined the
    background color the same as the lower layer's color. Any ideas?
    #2) THE BIG ISSUE - IE doesn't display the drop down portions
    of the menu properly as they display horizontally. If the cursor
    moves into the <li> from another <li> the menu displays
    as aforementioned. If the cursor moves into the <li> from
    outside the menu bar, the menu bar behaves properly.
    This is the first page I've done with a Spry menu bar as it
    seems the former navigation bar process has been removed from
    Dreamweaver. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    cloud9industries

    Hi,
    I took a look over your page and I noticed that you are using
    a very old spry version 1.4. The current released version is Spry
    1.6 and contains some major bug fixes for Menu Bar widget.
    Please update to this last Spry version. You can download the
    new files from
    here.
    The problem with the transparent background is an IE6 problem
    which doesn't support transparent backgrounds. This problem is
    fixed on IE7 and I check it and it works there.
    Please let us know if you still have problems with MenuBar
    after updating it to the new version
    Thanks,

  • Safari bold text causing problem with Spry Menu Bar

    I have made a web site using a Spry Menu bar. It worked fine across all browsers, as far as I knew. I was just alerted by th esite owner that the menu bar had the last link out of position when viewed in Safari. I'm not sure when this started happening. I notice the text in Safari is more bold than firefox or IE. My guess is that's the problem. I searched on google for help and found this
    Add - text-shadow: 0 0 0 #000; to the css.
    I tried that but it doesn't seem to have any effect.
    the site is here:
    http://www.telluridegravityworks.com/
    Can anyone offer any advice on how I might fix this? Thanks!

    I'm not seeing the issue in Win 7/Safari (assume it's a Mac issue) but I do see it in Win 7/IE9.
    In the CSS file, http://www.telluridegravityworks.com/css/gravity-works-winter.css
    tweaking the width of the navbar container fixes it here
    #nav-menu {
    width: 455px; /* adjusted from 445px */
    padding: 0px;
    overflow: hidden;
    float: left;
    margin-left: 515px;

  • Having Trouble with Spry Menu Bar Hover Image

    I added a hover image to the spry menu bar, however, whenever I roll my mouse over the buttons all, but one of the buttons' fonts grow in size, also increase the size of the button. Can someone please help me with this?

    Hello,
    the culprit must be in your (horizontal or vertical) "SpryMenuBar.........al.css". Please send us a link to your website in question, so we can better analyze.
    BUT, and I quote from different contributions of the forum:
    "Spry has been deprecated and is no longer officially supported by Adobe", “Adobe abandoned Spry late last year after CS6 came out. Future products will probably not contain any Spry so learning to use jQuery is a valuable skill to have for the future.” “The news was released in August last year: http://blogs.adobe.com/dreamweaver/2012/08/update-on-adobe-spry-framework-availability.htm l”.
    I'd recommend you switch to a jQuery library for your further requirements.
    If you have a budget to work with, look at PVII's Pop-Menu Magic3:

        margin-bottom: 0;
        margin-left: 100%;
        position: absolute;
    So, to translate:
    All list items will be 12 ems wide
    First submenu list (ul) will be 8.2ems wide
    First submenu list items will be 13.5ems wide
    this supersedes the 12ems for all sub and sub-submenu list items
    Sub-submenu lists (ul) will hang off the right side (margin-left: 100%)
    Internet Explorer is interpreting #4 to mean at the right side of the ul (which is at 8.2em)
    Other browsers are interpreting #4 to mean at the right side of the li (which is at 13.5em)
    I believe that is what is happening on your menus.

  • Problems with spry menu bar in IE

    Hi.... I'm sorry if this has been covered somewhere, I promise I looked and couldn't find anything.  I've been working with Dw for a little over a month now and have generally been able to find whatever I needed.  But I've hit a wall:  My pages display just fine in Opera, Safari, Firefox.... but in Mac's IE, none of the spry works (loaded from the server) and in Windows IE 7 & 8 the collapsible panels work but for the menu bar, the children menus come down from the top of the page (instead of below the parent).  I've tried putting the menu in its own header container and the problem still happens.  Nothing I do or can find as patches have helped make the Mac IE work (but from what I hear that's typical....).  I am absolutely desperate for help!
    The original page is: http://www.tumorvirology.pitt.edu
    and a testing with the separate header can be seen at:  http://www.tumorvirology.pitt.edu/dev/testsite/test1.html
    The css files for the menu bar and panel for the first site is attached below.
    Thank you so much for your time and help!

  • Having problems with burning - need help please!

    when I try and burn a disk itunes says no recording
    software found. Everytime I start up itunes it says the drivers associated with burning are missing. It ask me to
    reinstall the software which I do and I have the same
    problem. I have other burning software but cant burn any
    itunes Ive purchased do to the format. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    The german note is:
    Achtung
    Die Registrierungseinträge für die iTunes Treiber zum Import und Brennen von CDs und DVDs fehlen. Diese kann Folge der Installation einer anderen Software zum Brennen von CDs sein. Bitte installieren sie iTunes erneut.
    Could anybody please help me??

    I need more information about your hardware configuration. Run the iTunes Help menu -> Run CD Diagnostics... command and post the results here.
    I'm assuming that you're not running 64-bit windows.
    It sounds like the driver didn't get installed. You could try doing a repair install on iTunes --
    Windows Start menu -> Settings -> Control Panels -> Add or Remove Programs
    Select iTunes, Select Change/Remove button, Select "Repair" radio button, click OK.
    If that doesn't work, you might try downloading just the CD drivers from :
    http://www.gearsoftware.com/support/drivers.cfm
    Get the first link, not the second one that talks about gearsec compatibility.

  • Having problem with trigger.(help needed)

    HI all,
    i m totally new to the PL/SQL.... hope someone can help me with this.....
    i am now using trigger to block inserting into "attendance99" table when the record reach the maximum limit and insert the record to the "waiting_list" table.
    The problem i face is by using RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR, it will block the insertion to the "waiting_list" table as well.....
    i had try to use only DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE instead but end up >>> inserting record into both table "attendance" and "waiting_list" tables.
