Having Problems Downloading Photoshop for Creative Cloud

Hi all,
I just bought Photoshop CC 2015. I used the annual pre-paid method.
I think something got messed up.
I bought the program. I received the confirmation E-mail. I clicked on 'Download' on the Photoshop app located on the Desktop on this site.
Once I did that, a little screen popped up:
It said something about sending a request. I don't remember what it said exactly. I only remember it saying "If you did not initiate this request, this could mean that some is attempting to invade your computer..(so on so on).
It gave me the option to Send Request or Do Nothing. It suggested I click Do Nothing if I did not ask for the request to begin with. So I clicked Do Nothing and the little screen went away.
This led me to a page that said Photoshop Is Now Downloading....
Nothing seems to be happening though. No download link has popped up and when I tried to refresh the page, it does the same thing (just shows the page saying Photoshop is Downloading...). When I exit the page and log back on and try to download, it does the same thing.
I'm not sure what happened. It would be unfortunate to lose the program before I even got a chance to use it.
Anybody know what caused this and how I can fix it?

  • Problems re-downloading Photoshop for Creative Cloud

Man, the support from Adobe has NOT been useful! My hard drive crashed, so I needed to start over with Creative Cloud. At first, all the downloads were temp versions - after more than an hour trying to get some help from Adobe, that problem is fixed, but I had already used MacKeeper to uninstall Photoshop, but it still shows in the CC as "up to date" so it won't allow me to redownload it. How to I get the CC to recognize I do not have this app so I can get it back?

    Hi THall2008,
Please perform the steps in the below mentioned link:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html
One of the appreciated method is this:-
Remove the OPM.db file and relogin into the Adobe Application Manager using the Adobe ID tied to your subscription.
Mac OS: You can locate the OPM.db file in the \User\<user name>\Library\Application Support\Adobe\OOBE folder. To access the hidden user Library folder, see Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 Lion.
Windows: You can locate the OPM.db file in the \Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE folder.  To view the hidden AppData folder, see Show hidden files, folders, filename extensions | Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7.
    Delete the opm.db file.
    Launch Creative Cloud.

  • Why does the download button for creative cloud keep telling me to download it from a computer?

I have a dell all in one desktop and everytime I try to click the download button for creative cloud or photoshop, it says "Creative cloud/photoshop is a desktop app, download it from a computer." This doesn't make any sense.

Which browser are you using to download the application? Whatever browser you're using, it is recommended to clean the browser's cache and then quit the browser, relaunch it and login with your credentials again.  If this does not work try another browser..

  • Trying to download PhotoShop on Creative Cloud but it remains at 0%

I just downloaded the free trail of Creative Cloud but when I go to download PhotoShop on Creative Cloud it won't download it just remains at 0%
Can anyone help me get PhotoShop installed?

This seems due to firewall or proxy settings, Please verify the same.

  • Where are my downloaded applications for creative cloud?

HI there, I've signed up for creative cloud, downloded the application manager and then downloaded Muse, which it says is installed...but I can't find it anywhere? Am I missing something?

    Hi All,
if you are having Muse install problems on Mac, please follow these steps:
    1) Ensure that Muse is completely uninstalled: drag Adobe Muse from the Applications folder to the trash and empty the trash.
    2) Download Muse from the following link: http://labsdownload.adobe.com/pub/adobemuse/builds/muse_2-2-1_install_ mac.dmg.
    3) Install
Please note that this build won't work if Muse is already installed; you must uninstall previous versions of Muse first.
    Thanks,

  • I'm having problems downloading Photoshop CC.

After paying for  and then program selecting Photoshop CC, when I click on the Download button it opens the creative cloud window with list of programs. How do I download Adobe Photoshop after I payed for the plan set up for that?

    Hi China Cat Sunflower 123,
    Welcome to the Community!
When you click on download on Photoshop, it starts downloading in Adobe Creative cloud desktop app. When the app opens you should see the progress bar in front of Photoshop, if that is not the case please let us know.
    A screenshot will be helpful.
    Thanks!

  • Why is the download speed for Creative Cloud updates and initial software installation so slow?

Why is the download process for Adobe Creative Cloud updates and initial installations so slow? I can download and update other software from other providers almost an order of magnitude faster. This slow download problem has been present since I started using Creative Cloud soon after it was initially offered.
Adobe customer support maintains that there is no throttling at Adobe's end, and that no one has complained about this problem -- this forum shows the latter not to be true.
    What is the problem?

    Hi ErstwhileCreative,
I don't think I've ever checked the download speed but the installers are definitely large files, many several GB. It might seem longer because the download immediately progresses into the installation at 50%

  • Downloading Photoshop form Creative Cloud

I just purchased the Creative Cloud student and teacher edition of CS 6 for my Mac. I went to install all 16 programmes last night and they all downloaded and installed properly excet for Photoshop Extended and After Effects. I tried to download them mulptiple times with no other applications open on my laptop and a note kept popping up when it looked like each programmed have finished downloading saying that the link was corrupt or something. I have never had any Adobe software on my computer before so I though I should try and download Photoshop in order for Photoshop Extended to work so I tried to download the trial version of Photoshop but it didn't download properly. Any suggestions?

We need system info and the install logs.

  • Downloading Photoshop with Creative Cloud...

I am trying to download Photoshop CS6 with Creative Cloud, after purchasing Creative Cloud full version. However, when it takes me to Adobe Manager it says Photoshop is 'up to date' and doesn't allow me to click the 'install' option as the others. I have downloaded and carried out a 30 day trial on Photoshop CS6 previously, so don't know if this has affected installation. I am also unsure if I am properly connected with the Creative Cloud, after purchasing Creative Cloud on Tuesday 2nd April. As when I go to order status it states it is shipped and with 'download' option, which takes me to the Adobe Manager, where I then face the problem stated above.
Please advise how I can resolve this issue and download/ install the full Photoshop CS6 version onto my Mac.
    Thanks,
    Rachael

funny that the first option is to uninstall the up-to-date program in question, when the title of the article states the problem to be that the program is not installed to begin with. It's very hard to uninstall a program that isn't there!
number two didn't work, and i've tried number three more than a few times. I'll get to number four today (the cleaner). I suspect that the manager is not uninstalling OR installing correctly. It just spins on the home tab, and never fully uninstalls, though that could just be sloppy programming. I always have to go into the task manager and stop a process manually. Last time, i tried extracting it from the registry prior to reinstall, but that didn't work either. I have no current or previous installations of the "up-to-date" program on this drive. But i did have CS5 designer suite installed on the previous drive C, which is now drive E. Could that be the problem? Drive C is a brand new SSD, the motherboard was just replaced and windows was reinstalled onto a clean drive, the same drive to which i am installing CC manager.
so i'll try the cleaner today. Finger's crossed! Thanks.

  • Having problems downloading Photoshop/Lightroom to Windows Vista.

I purchased a monthly subscription to Photoshop/Lightroom. When I clicked on the blue Download box it gave me an error message stating "Running an operating system that photoshop no longer supports. Refer to the system requirements below for a full list of supported platforms".
It lists only Windows 7 and 8 as supported operating systems.
I am running Windows Vista. Is there a way to download the apps to Windows Vista?  My system has all the other requirements; AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual Core Processor and 320 GB hard drive.
    Thanks for your suggestions,
    Vstar4me2

Vstar4me2 I am very sorry but you will need to upgrade to Windows 7 or later to use Photoshop CC and Photoshop Lightroom 5.
