You really have to mess with the resoluton, espescially the refresh rate, as it varies from projector to projector, monitor to monitor. Even within the same brand! Because so many manufacturers are trying so many different things to become the next cool kid on the block, and the way the formats are being configured that's now part of the game.
That's why so many professionally produced corporate shows hire a dedicated projectionist for the video presentations. Too many bugs in the honey.
Refresh & sesolution are the first things to look at.
Just so you know that colors in PowerPoint PC, and PowerPoint Mac, don't exactly match... go figure.
I forgot to mention another thing, sometimes it's the projector that needs to be tweaked.

    Hi,
Apple's AirPrint only support specific models while using wired or wireless network connection.
Plugging a printer into a USB port of Apple base is not supported for AirPrint:
AirPrint printers connected to the USB port of the Apple AirPort Base Station or Time Capsules are not supported with AirPrint.
As well you must use AirPrint enabled printers for a such, none of your printers are AirPrint enabled:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
There are 3rd party solutions which allow sharing a printer connected to your Mac as AirPrint, Printopia as example provide a such:

  • I am having problems rebooting my mid 2009 macbook pro (grey screen other issues), need help!

I am having problems rebooting, I have experienced the same problem as others with the grey screen but my case is a little different, It started with my mid 2009 macbook pro acting a little slower than normal, the screen would freeze, mouse wouldnt move and i'd be forced to "force reboot" this went on for a couple of days until i was tinkering with the wifi connection and it froze again. I had to reboot and this time i noticed that it took a long time to get to the login screen. i put in my password and it went into infinite load (i also tried the guest account and other accounts with same result). i tried rebooting again and the same thing would happen. after several reboots, the screen just stayed grey, sometimes with the apple logo and gear sometimes without it. Since its a 2009, (and for the most part, still works like a champ) i decided test the ram, i took one stick of ram out at a time to see if i could notice anything wrong with them. when i stuck just one in, the mac was still having the same problem rebooting. i pulled that ram and and stuck in the other and i noticed that this time the apple logo never appeard and a big crossed out circle appeared. figuring that the ram must be the problem, i ordered new ram and installed it. i noticed that when i rebooted for the first time with the new ram it was rather quick and took me straight to the login screen and i was able to log in with no problem. at this point i thought the problem was solved, but i noticed the macbook still acting funny. at first, none of my files appeared on my desktop or in the finder window. after about 20 minutes, everything magically popped up. i also noticed long pauses/freezes with the colored pin wheel spinnig. i closed the laptop and opened it again and the screen just stayed black. i tried rebooting again, and again i got the grey screen with no signs of being able to log in... i waited about 20 minutes and tried to reboot again and again i was able to log in, however the macbook is still acting slow and will freeze with no signs of unfreezing without a reboot.
my macbook is 5 years old and has plenty of miles on it, so i understand if the thing needs to be replaced alltogether but does anyone know what could be the issue? could the bad ram have corrupted the hard drive in anyway? would re-installing the OS fix it?? and if so, how would i do that if i downloaded mavericks from the app store? are there any other solutions to this problem?
all my files and what not are backed up on an external HD so theres nothing on it that i'd miss desperately if i had to whipe the hard drive but id really like to get her working again without any whiping of the HD. if anyone can help me out, it'd be greatly appreciated

It is very difficult to offer troubleshooting suggestions when the "os version" you are using is unknown as each os has their own troubleshooting solutions.
How large is your hard drive and how much hard drive space do you have left?

  • I'm having problem with exporting video from premiere pro cc 2014

I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 and I'm having problem with exporting video.
When I click Export and media, the window for exporting appears and it starts exporting video.
But after a few minutes, it looks like it has completed exporting video and says there's a bug in exporting.
It literally says it has a problem with compiling, but I don't know what the real problem is.
I tried many things like restarting computer and Premire Pro but it's no use.
But it works when I use Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014 for exporting video.
If anyone knows any possibilities about why this problem happens, please let me know.

I'm having a similar issue.  When I go to export my project, I add it to the render queue, set it up with the h.264 settings that I've used with countless past versions of the program, and then hit render.  Randomly, at some point in the process, the render just stops and the ETA just keeps climbing.  I actually had to save an XMF file of the CC 2014 project and bring it into the previous CC version of Premiere just to finish it.  Even a clean re-install of CC 2014 doesn't work.

  • Flashing Bios on win XP

    Hi all.
I am considering to flash my 1.3 bios to the new official 1.4 biosfor my Neo2.
On the Readme file that is included with these new bioses it shows 2 procedures. The second one says flashing Bios for non-FAT file systems... but that seems a little more confusing....
I know my Win XP is a non-FAT file system... so do i HAVE to use this procedure... or i can use the procedure that says to unzip new bios into C:\test folder... and then use a ms-dos Start-up disk created in win XP to run the flashing program in C:\test folder ?

Ok thnx ... uummm do i have the right for another noob question?
Can i use that second procedure with a "msdos startup disk" created in win XP... just by right cliking A:\ and then format n check "create msdos start-up disk" ?
If not... how do i create a win98 start-up disk the way it is needed to be done, assuming that i have an old win98 computer running... ?

  • Problems connecting - 9i and Win XP Pro

First off, I am a super duper beginner so I understand nothing of this application. I have Win XP Pro and have learned that 8i has issues with P4's so downloaded 9i instead of using the 8i CD I have. I also have the CD for Forms and Reports 6i also. My reason for the installation is a database programming class I am taking. At the current time I have 9i installed and I also installed 6i though am unsure if 9i will work with 6i. I tried to connect to SQL Plus using the username, pw, and hostname my professor gave me and I got an error msg saying "ORA-12541 TNS:no listener" BUT when I check the listener control thing and tell it to start the listener I get an error because it says it has already started and if i stop it and then start it again I still get the same message. I am able to log on to SQL using the generic username and password "Scott" and "tiger" with no hostname but I am unsure if this means anything as I know my info is correct. I am wondering if anyone can help me out. I no nothing about this application to be able to troubleshoot further and also am wondering if 9i will work with 6i. Thanks for reading this far and thanks in advance for any assistance. I think I have installed this app 3 times now and would love to get it all working properly so I can do my assignments....
    Jo-Anne

Thanks for the reply. He gave us each our own usernames, our own passwords and the hostname to connect to the school. The school dns or ip address, either one, is not his it is the school's oracle server. I used my username and password and it gave me the listener error. In order for me to work from home I have to connect to the school's oracle server, i can't leave it blank. Does that make sense? Thanks again.

  • Having problems flashing MS-7185 K8N Bios

ive been attempting for the past day or so on trying to flash the bios on my 6+ year old computer. i have a MS-7185 K8N SLI V1.0 board. (theres also a number that says N1996) my current version is "0."? which is weird to me. the reason im trying to update my bios is because i found out my current bios has overclocking features. but when i try to bump up frequencies, after it reboots according to CPUZ im still sitting at 2.4Ghz. like the overclocking features didnt stick. but yet ill get random freeze ups (about once an hour) unless the frequencies arent set to normal. thats when i hit google and found out my bios is out of date.
some more specs: amd athlon 64 4000+ (yes i know i need to upgrade). 4GB RAM, dual 9600GT video cards. windows 7. i can get more specific details if needed.
ive tried doing the DOS USB mode by using HP USB disk format tool/windows 98 boot disk files with no success.
not 100% sure how to do it, but in the command line i typed "awfl865" which brought up the phoenix award flashing utility thing. then i typed "w7185nms.180" which from what i understand is the bios image. the farthest i seem to get is after what i think is backing up or saving the current bios it will say "target file not found!" or something like that.
ive also tried to do it via Live Update 5 "in windows" mode with no success either. it will download the file, make a bootable usb disk. as soon as i hit restart....the system will not restart. ive waited 10 minutes.
ive also tried Live Update 5 DOS USB mode with no success. once i get the computer rebooted into the command line, the two areas that are supposed to show my current board name (i think) and current bios version, will show as blank. it will say "do you want to continue flashing y/n" and it will not allow me to press y. almost as if the program freezes. or my keyboard doesnt register. idk.
*edit* idk how to use MFLASH
i am stumped. i would love to have my bios updated. not only so i can retry overclocking, but just for peace of mind knowing my board is on the latest update. any help would be greatly appreciated

  • X220 Problems after upgrade to Win 8 Pro

     Hi all,
Two weeks ago I upgraded OS on my ThinkPad X220 (model 428759G, BIOS 1.37) to Windows 8 Pro X64. After upgrade I did “factory reset” (function of Windows 8), because I preferred clean installation.
Then there were installed all updates via Windows Update service. After that I installed drivers and software from Lenovo via Lenovo System Update and Avira Antivirus Premium 2013.
Now I deal with the a few problems.
    1) Every day (several times a day) this service C:\Program Files\Lenovo\Lenovo Mobile Hotspot\LnvHotSpotSvc.exe stops working. More information is below (sorry for Czech language).

    2) From this webpage http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?&LegacyDocID=MIGR-77280 I downloaded and installed the Hotkey Features Integration (version 3.84.1500). But not all of FN keys work properly.
For example Fn+F8 doesn’t switch off touchpad or trackpoint, FN+F5 doesn’t switch off Bluetooth or WiFi – only both of them are switched off (via Airplane mode in Windows 8). If I want to switch off Bluetooth I can do it via controls in Windows 8. But I don’t understand why Bluetooth light is still on.
    3) Sometimes if laptop is woke up from sleep or hibernation mode, the system service ntoskrnl.exe (NT Kernel & System) uses CPU with 30% (fan is on high speed).  Only restart fixes this problem.
    Does anyone have similar problems?

Mobile hotspot error confirmed (but not important for me ).
Keys are working fine for me. BUT: I use old driver for Windows 7. The new one from January, 18th with Windows 8 look works as you described.
Btw. I dont like Bios - express card witn USB 3.0 NEC  PD720200a is not working at all.

  • Do I need to install flash player using Win 7 Pro and IE11?

    Hi,
    Could I have a definitive yes/no answer to, "Do I need a flash player plug-in when I am using 64 bit Windows 7 Professional SP1 and IE11?"
    I am using IE11 v.11.0.9600.16476
    Flash v.12.0.0.38
I am not, as far as I can see, have any problems viewing anything. But Adobe insist I should be using Flash v.12.0.0.43 and they identify my browser as Gecko.
I understand that Gecko is usually identified as Firefox but is it correctly identified as IE?
Windows 8.1 with IE11 states that it is a plug-in less browser; but is Windows 7 with IE11 plug-in less or not...???
    Very confusing!
    Regards.

Flash Player for IE is integrated by Microsoft with Windows 8 and 8.1 only... IE11 is a "rolling train wreck", though. Almost NOTHING on the web can properly identify it if it can be identified at all.  As long as your current Flash Player is working, I'd "let a sleeping dog lie". Until you NEED to update it, don't with IE11.
With WIn 8.1 it's the worst combination in all computing history. Be glad you still have 7.

  • Problem flashing BIOS

When I boot from the start up disk to flash my BIOS I cant get to the C: prompt. I get a Invalid Drive Specification message.
I made a couple of new start up disks and get the same result.
    875P NEO
    Going from v1.2 to v1.6
    Thanks
    Pete

I have flashed my BIOS to v1.6.
After flashing and rebooting I got a CMOS bad message,  this happens when I do not have the RAM voltage set to 2.75 and the video card voltage set to 1.75, so I changed the settings around to what is needed to run, normal for me to do this??.
The first thing I did was run PCMark2003.
First test went OK. The second test I got a light blue screen (not the blue screen of death) and could not exit or do anything to end the test.
    Unplugged the CPU.
So I rebooted and windows will not boot. It gets to the loading screen and restarts.
Then when I reboot again I get the options screen to run safe mode and the such.
What ever option I choose it will start to boot and restart itself over and over again. I could leave it and it would do this for as long as power was supplied to the CPU.
I dont know what the problem is seeing as I cant get into the CPU.
    Its getting really frustrating  X(
    Thanks
    Pete
P.S. I need a smiley that shoots his computer out of anger!!
EDIT: I get a NTFS.SYS file corrupt or missing message.
I cannot use windows repair to fix this problem. It only repeats the message and stalls. I also every tenth try or so get an CDROM.SYS file missing or corrupt message.

  • Having problems downloading iTunes for Windows XP Pro

My computer had a virus and I had to reinstall my operating system, by doing so I lost everything on my iTunes. I still have the music on my iPod, but when I tried to reinstall iTunes I kept receiving a error message about a XP Logo problem. Can someone please help me with this? I really want my iTunes back to add more music/movies to my iPod.

Sorry, but no, you do not have the same problem. Your problem is with logging into the ITunes Store, and the OP's question appears to be a problem with downloading the iTunes installer. Please start a new topic with your issue (use the "Post a new topic" link at the top of each main topic page). It's generally better to ask a question as a new topic rather than as a reply in someone else's thread. It's more courteous to the original poster, and is more likely to get your question the attention it deserves.

  • Problems flashing BIOS/installing nvidia drivers

I'm doing my new build today.
Installilation of hardware went without a hitch. D-link's all lit green. Installation of windows went well too. However when I went to flash the BIOS (using the MSI live program) Windows refused to boot. I could boot using safe mode. So I reloaded windows, and installed the Nvida drivers...computer refused to boot, even in safe mode. Now I've formatted and installed windows xp a third time.
How do I go about installing the MB drivers and updating the BIOS?

you need to reset your bios first
    How to clear the CMOS
At step four get yourself a drink or something people are usually jittery doing this specially 1st time with the result that it dosn't clear.
    after step 6
    7)restart computer
    8) enter bios and select load defaults - save & exit
    9) let pc reboot, if you have any settings you want changing do them now. like hard disk boot order etc.,
    10) hopefully youll boot to windows
best to print this & the post in the link out if you can
    just take it slowly
