Having problems w on/off button on 4620LE

Is it ok to leave the Jetpack 4620LE plugged into the wall charger and turned on 24x7?
The on/off button is difficult to use. It is rubber and is not easy to use when trying to turn the device on or off.
Our reception and performance is fine. Just worried on whether or not
it is good for the device to be always "on".

Thank you for answering my question John. Its nice to know that I can leave it on for extended periods of time. Our problem really is that it is so difficult to turn on and off. To turn it off we have resorted to removing the battery.. not an ideal solution. To turn it on, it requires multiple efforts of pushing on the on/off button -- usually using my fingernail on an edge.. is what seems to work. The button is not hard, it is a soft rubber. Wondering why.
Was hoping to know whether or not this is a design defect? or something that I could get repaired.
As of now, we leave it on the charger and plugged in pretty much 24x7.

Is anyone having problems with the Iphone 4 start button not working

What is the start button?
Do you mean the on/off button, or the Home button?
If either one is not working at all, more than likely there is a hardware problem.

I am having problems with my wake button responding, any ideas?

Having problems with iPad 3 wake button responding. I have reset iPad; but no help.

If you mean the button on the front (home button) then it is probably a hardware fault, I would recommend taking it back to the apple store. But for now, I have a work around, go to - Settings, General, Scroll down to accessibility and turning on 'AssistiveTouch' this then gives you a temporary work around.
If you mean the top button (wake/sleep) then I'm afraid there is nothing that can be done other than getting it repaired, again take it to the Apple Store.

Someone at work also said they were having a problem with their power button not working? Is it hardware or maybe software?

I had the same problem with my new macbook air. It was scratchy and annoying so I updated the speaker's software and now it's perfect.

Android 4 Problem - StageWebView cutting off button on same View

So I'm trying to pull off something similar to the example here: http://cookbooks.adobe.com/post_Create_a_basic_web_browser_with_StageWebView-18850.html . Basically, a native browser view with a few Flex controls over top. Problem is, I've been running into a lot of display problems on Android 4 devices specifically. As far as I can tell, the StageWebView seems to be preventing the button overhead from being rendered in part or *at all* - as in, the button doesn't show up at all. It's just black.
See for yourselves. Here's a screenshot (the test page has a yellow background):
If I touch the screen or the web view, the button will (usually) abruptly show up above the page, where it's supposed to be:
Anyone else seen anything like this before? Any ideas what it could be? Or what could be a fix? Project is being developed in Flash Builder 4.6 with the 4.6 SDK. Screenshots are from a Google Nexus 7 tablet (Android version 4.1.2, Adobe AIR version 3.4.0.254).

Anyone having problems creating Pop-Up Buttons in InDesign CS5??

I was creating Pop-Up windows in InDesign when I encountered problems having the Pop-Up disappear after the cursor left the hot area.
Everything was the same in the Button command box but some didn't work.

Oddities in Safari happen, not from viruses etc, but from some of the complexities of the program itself. In this case, a corrupted preference file may be causing the problem.
In the Finder, drag to the desktop the com.apple.safari.plist folder found in your User Account>Library>Preferences folder.
Restart Safari. Select the pop-up block. Quit/Restart Safari.
If the pop-up selection held, you'll need to reset your Safari preferences to your liking, plus any custom settings found in the Edit Menu (spelling) or View Menu (status bar, bookmarks bar, custom icons in the "Customize Address Bar" ).
Otherwise, move the file back to its original location.

Hello all I am having problems viewing my flash buttons on my website

Hello all I am new to creating my own websites. I am using
DW8. At the moment all is going ok as I have managed to get my home
page up and running, though my website is far from over i have
decieded to add flash buttons. Now when i preview the site in DW8
it shows all the content on the page, however when I actually view
my website (using Firefox) everything shows except the flash
buttons. I have looked and researched everywhere to try and fix
this problem but either don't get what people are talking about or
just can't find the assocciated files. Any help is very
appreciated.

Having problems with radio summit buttons counting up.

Hi, I am not very good with php. I am familiar with java/html
coding, but not a expert at it. I created some radio buttons using
DW in a group and changed them to be summit buttons. What I am
trying to do when someone on my web-site clicks on the button of
choice they only get one choice only. I created a group of 3 radio
buttons. I would like it if there is counter that counts up this
way I can always see how many selected which number at the given
time. Does anyone know how to do this with DW or possible know a
correct code I can use? I am very knowledgeable with DW and you may
take a look at my web-site I created using only DW, FW, and AFs.

Downloaded Firefox 4 to a new Laptop never used 4 before am having problems adding my custon buttons to frequently used web pages

I downloaded Firefox onto a laptop that did not have Firefox already installed. Downloading went well, but I do not know how to use 4, I had the older version on my desktop and I can not figure out how to add the applications I want to use on my bar. Firstly, I do not understand why you are using an absolutely positioned div for your button.
And if you gave us an actual link to the website, we could see how the AP div actually does interact with your website.
But I do have a hunch:
Looks like you have positioned the button off the screen. If one has one's browser open to something like 900 pixels wide, your button will be 30 more pixels to the right of where the viewer's browser is. It will also be 325 pixels down from the top, which means it will be just below many headers.
With AP divs, often browsers won't show you scroll bars if you have positioned something off the page.

You will not belive how I accidently solved this - !!!
Yes I had the problem immediately after the 5.1.1 'cloud' upgrade, the problems started (on my iphone 4) ... I followed the 'get power down button, then hold HOME for 30 secs' solution, but no result, nothing seemed to work and I was starting to get a bit agressive with the keep it pushed, multiple double click frustrations, icopybot multigesture solutions etc. and paid money ... but this comedy solution now works ...
I discovered it because I ordered a waterproof case for my iphone for my motorcycle ... I've just fitted it to my iphone and all the problems have gone ??? what! ... so wondering why I looked at what the home button on the casing was doing - it was pressing ACROSS the home button i.e. it converted my finger point into a wider 'PRESS
so taking the new case off, instead of using the point of my thumb to press HOME, I used the flat of my thumb to emulate it ....and initially nothing, so I wondered if it wa making better 'cross button' contacts, so I licked my thumb, wiped it and then tried again! - it worked!
I can't explain it but it seems to work - try it! if the double click on HOME doesn't work lick your thumb dry it and try again! I've just done it again
what a mad techno world we live in! :-)

I haven't but try resetting...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then restart your iPad.
No data will be lost as a result of a reset.
