Having problems with Genio how do I get rid of it?

Aloha:
Every time I start up one of my browsers i am sent to this address:
http://search.genieo.com/?v=gim116410161&t=1407
Genieo does not appear anywhere in my applications folder.
However I am afraid that if I use either browser I will be infected.
Help, need some good ideas.
