Having same problem as Black Knight!

I have tried all of the solutions posted so far. Nothing! There is a copy of quicktime on my computer that I cannot delete. Can someone tell me how?
When I try to download itunes... error message 3 or make sure you have access to that file. I had it downloaded successfully one time and it told me it couldn't open the library because it was created by an earlier version and to reinstall itunes - no luck!

Hey buddy i have good news, i fixed mine and it works great now. I tried everything, just like you obivously getin the same -3 code. THe problem for me was, i didn't have the latest direct X drive. so go to direct x and get their latest one, restart, then download the quicktime 7, the one that stands alone. Restart.Then download itunes 7 and it will just by pass the installation of quicktime b/c you already have a more up todate one version. This worked for me and now im really happy that i fixed it. I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.

if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

The latest flash player release is 11,0,1,152.
Can you upgrade to this version and see whether the crash stil exists?
Go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download and install flash player.

Discovered I could get email on my iPad, so re-entered my iCloud email password on my mac and that solved the problem. Still a mystery as to why all of a sudden I needed to do this, but as long as it works aint complaining.

Exchange email will not work after IOS 5.1 update. Anyone else having same problem. Its been three days now I cannot get mail.

I'm having the same issues, except only one of my Exchange accounts took a dive after upgrading to iOS 5.1. My Gmail account (set up as Exchange) works flawlessly but my native Exchange account (work e-mail) stopped working after the update.
Post update to 5.1: (work Exchange account) I could view my inbox and view individuals emails in the inbox, but I was unable to send any emails. Mail started asking for my password after the update (for the affected Exchange account) but once entered, it failed to verify.
I completley removed the Exchange account and rentered all the account settings but again, failure to verify any information. I was hoping my password might have changed but it did not. Also, maybe the IT guy at the office (not very bright) changed some settings but the only difference is the new iOS update.
And while playing with the iPhone trying to make it work again, I noticed something really weird. Old emails (2-3 weeks) from multiple email accounts to include the inop Exchange account started showing up again on the pull down notification menu. I would clear these out of the notificaion menu but they always kept reapearing; very strange.

I updated my iPad 4 with the new iOS7 and since then Skype started problem and now email i.e, yahoo as well. I can hear people on Skype but they can't hear me though it was working fine with old version. Is any one else having same problem?

I recently purchased iPad 4 and it is only one month old. I updated with iOS 7 and next day got problem with Skype and yahoo mails. People can't hear me on Skype though I can hear them clearly. I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again

EXTERNAL microphone not working on T61, Colleagues with T61s having same problem

I am unable to get any external micophone to work with my T61. A colleague of mine spent hours with Lenovo support trying to get his to work but was never able to. The internal microphone works but the quality is low. I have tried several external microphones (3). I verified the external microphones work with other systems.
As for drivers, here is what I have tried so far:
SoundMAX driver uninstall
Installed Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for HD Audio
Installed SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio driver (5.10.1.5520)
None of this made any difference. When I plug in an external mic, all applications, including the SoundMAX Control Panel > Microphone > Setup Wizard, detect zero sound from the external microphone. I have muted/unmuted the external microphone, muted/unmuted the microphone in Windows, boosted/decreased the volume, used the Microsoft microphone troubleshooting wizard, etc., etc.
Please help! Using an external microphone is very important for my work (speech recognition) and for several of my colleagues. If we would have known external microphone do not work with T61s, my company would not have purchased these. Now we are all stuck until we get new laptops again (2 more years)!
P.S. One strange thing I noticed while plugging and unplugging is that if I plug in headphones to the external microphone jack, one of the headphones (R, I think) becomes an "external microphone." The quality is terrible but applications register sounds coming through the external headphones. Why then have none of the 3 different external microphones I've plugged into the mic jack worked?!?!

Help-Safari wont load any pages-others having same problem

Safari wont load any pages. Tried reinstalling Safari. Nothing. Zip. Notice that people on the Safari for Windows board are having the same problem.

I get the menu bar, but not Bookmarks, etc. Cannot see a blank page. Cannot open a blank page, BUT my efforts (Untitled and Untitled 2) are reflected in the Dock. A right-click there shows that the pages are open, but obviously invisible.
I really need to fix this.
Firefox works. As do other apps.

The last thing I did before this happened was open a .pps file I got in email. If I do what was suggested in the Safari for Win post where someone is having the same problem: empty the cache, everything becomes greyed out. Its as if everything becomes invisible.
If I click on a link in Apple Mail, the URL shows up in the dock right-click as if it has mounted, but it hasn't. No window. Nothing.

Do you actually have a data plan from your cellular provider?
Being connected to 3G does not automatically indicate that a data plan exists on the account or is even set up correctly on the carrier side.

New mac air running hot! Anyone having same problem?

I downloaded Lion last night on my Mac Book Air (purchased Feb of this year). The fan would hardly run before as computer would rarely get hot. Now it is running constantly since download. Anyone else having similar issue? Is there a solution to this?

Lion was installed as update.
as result:
CPU on 80 °C and to keep it between 70 and 80 °C fan had to work on 6500 RPM.
I used Istat.
repaired permissions, no result, reset the SMC and so on... no results.
lately reading also other posts, I started to disable 1 by 1 the start up items.
the antivirus Sophos + the time machine auto back up -on off was quite successful
now I have a 4000 RPM = quite decent as noise level and CPU at 40-47 °C.
had nothing to do with the flash or browsing, and so on.
Spotlight, yess is pushing the temp up, but is not running 24/7
Check your startup items, the answer can be there

After installing iOS5 on my iPhone 4 I am having a problem syncing Calendar, Contacts etc. If I say add something in Calendar on my iPhone it will not sync to my PC, even though is says it is. However if I add something to my Calendar on my PC (using Outlook) it will sync to my iPhone. Anyone having the same issues and/or solution?

Ok. I disabled hardware acceleration. The only extension is the McAfee Scriptscan for Firefox 15.1.0, which was already disabled. I then disabled all plugins (Acrobat, Google Update, Intel Identity Protection (2x), Java Deployment Toolkit, Java Platform, MS Office 2013, Quicktime, Shockwave, Silverlight), which were all up to date.
Normal or safe mode still has same result. No startup, no option button and no customize.

Not getting daily new apps. Last daily releases were 10/16/2013. Anyone else having same problem?

Haven't receive any daily release apps since 10/16/2013. Only way to download new apps is to search by company i.e, Big Fish, G5, etc. Tried turning iPad off. Connected to my computer to have it re-sync. Nothing has worked. Anyone else having this problem or have a solution?

If your iPad is running iOS 5.1.1 as your signature indicates, then there may not be any new apps that run that a older version of the iOS.

Keyboard problem on iphone 4s! Anyone having same problem?

Keyboard becomes unresponsive if you keep tapping on it. Like the abc/123 key, also the space and enter key.
I have tried this on several iphone 4s, even them demo phones at apple store, ive noticed the same problem.

Try rebooting the iPhone by holding both the home and power buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignore the red slider if that appears.
If you cannot do this due to screen failure, take the iPhone to an Apple store genius bar and have the technicians check it out to see what is wrong with the hardware.

The OP is correct, I have done many tests. With IOS6 there appears to be a dns issue in some cases with IOS for both ipad(2) at lease (my wife won't let me upgrade here v1) and the iPhone4s in my case. Pretty easy to diagonse, I wish Apple would fix it.
1.) I use a Juniper 5GT wireless firewall and all of my other devices (many apple, ipad, MBP, iMAC,3 ipods etc) are fine: Not ipad2 or iphone4s running IOS6
2.) after upgrade nothing worked. narrowed it down by messing with dns (I have my own dns server)
3.) Strange thing; dns works over MiFI (Verizon) and Carrier
4.) confirmed that it is a dns and not network issue.
-down load free tool called ping-scope-lite. (obviously you need to turn off wifi to do this)

Apple did say that they would give me another iphone 4s: I just wasn't sure that would fix my issue. I tried downgrading to 5.1.1 but I got an error saying my device wasn't able to do so (tried even blocking itunes from contacting Apple) I whis this could be fixed. I did even have it working using my own dns server but now I can see that my phone over wifi isn't even trying to make a dns request now.

You likely have something wrong with your account. That is why you are being prompted to contact Apple.
If it was an issue with the App's store, then everyone would be having the same issue.
The people who are experiencing this, appear to be a small portion of people, and there fore likely have a similar issue to you. Try calling Apple, and they will be able to see what may be causing this.
