Having to "double-clutch" adding behaviors every time

Hello. I am using Dreamweaver CS6. I've been using DW since CS3. Back then, I thought "Well, it is odd that every time I add a behavior, I have to watch it change on it's own from, say 'OnClick' to 'On MouseOver' before reentering it as the 'OnClick' I really wanted, but maybe this is just a quirk."

Same thing in CS4
Same thing in CS5
Now the same thing in CS6. It seems pointless and easy to fix. It's no big deal. Instead of taking 20 seconds to enter a behavior, I take 40. Not a problem. But, when I have to do several dozen repetitive behaviors, as I just did, it really adds up, even if only in the carple tunnels.
Adobe folks, are you aware of this? It can't be just me. Why not fix it so that when I select "OnXxxx," and add the Behavior, then OK, it's just there. Saved. Why must it switch on it's own to a different trigger before it will accept and implement my choice?

I rarely use behaviors. But I just did a test in CS6 (Creative Cloud version) and I could not replicate your problem. Ideally the onClick trigger should be applied to the anchor <a> tag and not the img or text.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

TS1398 How do I get my iPad to automatically connect to the wifi without me having to put in the password every time?

I have set up 6 iPads to work in my school. It took a while to get there but I got there!
My problem now is that I don't seem to be able to get them to connect to the wifi automatically without having to put the password in every time. I got the first one to do it but I did that one a while ago and can't seem to remember what I did differently!!

turn off all of the ipads, (not put them to sleep but turn them off) then unplug your Wi-Fi router for 2 mins. Plug it back in and when all the lights are (green or blue, depends on who makes the router) turn on one ipad and then connect it, wait 3 mins and turn on the other and connect it, do this for each iPad and it should fix the problem.

Since upgrading to Yosemite I can not run my airport express' without having to reset each of them every time I wish to use them. Does anyone know what the problem is?

I keep having to install flash player 11 every time i play games.whats wrong?

Almost every day i am playing one zinga game or another.during an upload of an game it will freeze and i will be asked to download the newest adobe flash player so the game will function properly.the rest of that day every thing will be fine.the next day the same thing will happin again.the download always works fine and the games all function fine after the download.this has happined four times now.i am an little confused and concerned.

When I choose keep me logged in on my home page of 3 tabs I always haved to log in each one every time

When I go to my home page of google, my yahoo and facebook tabs I always choose keep me logged in, however I always have to log in on each tab every time. I never had this problem with IE

You could install Tab Mix Plus, which offers a Duplicate Tab feature you could use after logging in: this should keep the login state intact while creating the new tab.

All of a sudden actions having to be reloaded in CC every time I restart my computer.

Anyone know how to fix the CC from dropping my actions everytime I restart my computer. I love CC but I will not keep the subscription if I have to go thru all the actions I have purchased every time I reopen CC. I have been dealing with it for 3 days now and about tired of it already.

Nobody can say anything without system information. In any case, presets and prefs not sticking boils down to local permissions and user privileges issues 99% of the time and has nothing to do with Adobe nor is it a flaw in the software - Adobe can't circumvent security restrictions that your admin or some security tool has imposed or else they would be pointless in the first place. So you need to check that stuff on your user profile folder and fix it.

I have four email addresses and would like to be able to have them available with out having to sign in and sign out each time I want to use a different one. I tried Windos live but found it cumbersome and not efficient or without errors. I was told Fire Fox allows this for this - does it?

Firefox doesn't allow multiple simultaneous logons to the same server due to cookies. Try one of these extensions for multiple cookie sessions.

Help!! Trying to writing an array to a file without having to rewrite the old data every time.

Hey Everyone,
I have a vi that takes a 2D array and writes it to an xml file. The purpose for this is to characterize the pathloss through a dowkey 10x10 matrix at varies frequencies. I use this program to create a look-up table for the switch matrix so when I conduct one of my automated tests I can obtain an accurate measurment. The problem with this is I am taking about 299 data points per switch matrix combination leading me to over 32000 data points in the look-up table. The reason I use xml is because each data point needs a header so I can parse through the look-up table with another one of my vi's when I need that pathloss. What I am trying to fix is that when my vi writes to a file it writes one array at a time to save memory space. When it writes it rewrites the old data then the new data. As the number of data points increase so does the lag time to write to the file. By the time I am done it takes about five hours to fully write to the file. Does anyone know of a way to write continuesly write to a file without having to rewrite all of the old data? Attached is my vi for writing to the file, my vi for searching through the file, and an example of one of my look-up tables.

The only way to do that is to only append to the end of your file. This would probably require some rewriting of your header information.

How can I permanently change the date format from the American format to the UK's without having to constantly change it manually every time I start a new spreadsheet?

This is my first mac so I'm still getting my bearings with it. I've only used Windows programmes before. I can't understand why it's so hard to change the date format of the cells in Numbers to keep it showing the UK format. The system preferences of the mac show that it's in the correct region and has the correct date but this doesn't seem to transfer into the Numbers program. I was very impressed with the mac until I discovered this. If anyone knows how I can get the date to stay in the correct format without having to go through the process of altering it in the cell inspector everytime then I would be very grateful.

Numbers & most apps, especially those from Apple, use the date format you have set in System Preferences > Language & Text > Region. You can then choose UK from the Region drop-down list. Mine says Custom because I've defined things further as in the second screenshot.

You need to update to Pages 4.1. If you haven't moved or renamed Pages then you'll be able to update Pages by running Software Update on your Mac. Or if you purchased Pages from the Mac App Store then you can launch the Store and click on Updates.
