Having to keep putting my password into Facebook
Hi all!
Does anybody know why i suddenly have to keep putting in my password into Facebook in Safari on my macbook air? up until a few days ago it would log in perfectly well. now it keeps asking my to log back in.
My desktop works fine....

It stores the password, but Facebook still logs itself out. but not on my iPad or iPhone. they remember!! and i have reset the keychain too. and still it logs out....

If your password is incorrect, perform a "soft reset": momentarily depress its reset button, and launch AirPort Utility. A "soft reset" will lower the Extreme's shields for about five minutes, so that you can configure it with a new password.

I use Thunderbird on my computer at home and use it for my Yahoo! emails. There is only me using this computer. When using Thunderbird I am frequently prompted to input my password. This is a bit irritating. Can anyone please advise how I can use Thunderbird on my home computer without having to put my password in. Thank you.,
The password request dialog window has a check box to have Thunderbird remember the password. Use that.

Well, for the last week someones been putting my iPhone constantly in lost mode using my apple account and I keep getting out because I know my own password. I want to change the password but two other people I know use it, (who definetly wouldn't do this), someone else probably got ahold of the account and is spamming the phones into lost mode. I'm not in lost mode currently by the way. This repetition is really a hassle for me because I'm not always connected to the internet to get out of the lost mode, a few days ago, I went on a 12 hour flight and both my apple devices were probably put into the lost mode and I wasn't able to use my iPhone or iPad to do work and entertainment purposes. I was literally sitting there for 12 hours! So now that you sat through my problem, which I thank you for greatly, how do I switch apple/cloud accounts on my devices so this won't happen again? I hope you can give my solution, if there is one out there, and thank you in advance for atleast trying to solve my problem.

Why do I have to keep putting my password in to iPad in the last few days for no reason
Over the last few days, every time I go to use my iPad 2 it asks me to put in my password. It did this over Xmas and I cleared out a lot of my storage and it seemed to stop. I have loads of space on device and in cloud and it keeps doing it. Is anyone else having same problem and what's causing it? It's really annoying
It's often hard to determine the cause of the usage rights no longer valid. It happens when some sort of change is made other than those that are allowed. It can be due to font problems and other problems that Acrobat attempts to automatically fix.
Adobe specifically prevent you from automating the process of extending documents with Acrobat. -
As of 3/30/13, when logging off of Facebook using the Facebook App, it will not log me out. It is now permanently keeping me logged in. No problem logging off of Facebook when I do not use the App. Is there anyone that can tell me why this is happening and what I need to do to Logout of Facebook. I like using the App for Facebook but I also want to be able to log off, I do not like to stay logged in. Is there something different with the latest Apple software I downloaded a couple of weeks ago, IOS 6.1.3?
it also could be something different, if you try google hangounts. change password and log out it still recieves notifications. its how apples handles the "channel" notification system for apps that recieve notifications or do backroung sync, and im sure at some point that security hole will be a hijack point. i think its called XO auth. and is why it can maintain session even after an apperant logout
if you go to the app and it shows you have logged out but are still recieving notifications then that is evidence of the bug.
also look and find the option for "keep me logged in" i remember in the past that would allow a autologin after logout. also if the app does NOT save the logout status correctly in its "memory" the above refereced system will auto login you with the XO app authentication.
if there really is no keep me logged in option. then what crh24 said, they designed it delibertly to keep you logged in. though i never remember a problem on my ios 6,. are you on ios 7, bunny hop? -
How do I put a password into the time cap. so no one can steal my internet
We have had a time cap for awhile, have backed up our pictures etc. and have a password for that.
We just got onto wireless internet and we would like to password that part of it. Please explain how we can do this and each time we open up our computers to use, will we have to put in the password?

ArleneYou would use AirPort Utility to enable wireless encryption on the Time Capsule. You will want to select WPA2 or WPA because those are much more secure than the older WEP.
You would need to enter those passwords once on your Macs when you connect to the network. The Mac will then remember the password and use it in the future when needed. -
In a loop to put in password into yahoo games even though I am signed into Yahoo for my email
I deleted some cookies in yahoo. Now when I am signed into yahoo and try to play a Yahoo game I get stuck in a loop where I am being asked to enter my password. I have reset my password. I have even created a new account and password. Nothing is working. Any suggestions?
That issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.

Also make sure that the Yahoo site isn't in the cookie exceptions.
If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file <i>cookies.sqlite</i> that stores the cookies is corrupted.<br />
Rename (or delete) <b>cookies.sqlite</b> (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete <b>cookies.sqlite-journal</b> and <b>cookies.txt</b>, if they exist, in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted. -
I am locked out of my Iphone. It says to log into my itunes to unlock. I log into my itunes and it says to put my password into my phone but I can't it just goes to the emergency call, How do I unlock my phone?
Place the iPhone into Recovery mode. If successful, this will require restoring the iPhone with iTunes which is required anyway in this situation.

Can't open Yahoo home page but must put in password
After downloading 4.0 firefox, my yahoo home page will not open. I have to keep putting in password. I've moved "Y" icon to house but to no avail. Tried everything.

Next, go to Tools | Options | Privacy and then click the "Show Cookies" button. Then delete all the Yahoo cookies.
Finally, go to File | Exit and then restart Firefox again. -
my iphone 4 keeps going into guided acess mode were i cant touch anything. i have for gotten my password and i cant seem to press the home button to go home. it tells me to put a password in but i have no clue. please HELPPPP!!!!!! im getting worried i have no clue whats going on. help and advice would be highly appriciated.
Just reset your phone:
Press the Sleep/Wake button & Home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.
This should let you use the phone normally, no restore needed. -

Hi I have a mac book pro OSX 10.8.4 iv connected to a wifi point where I am staying and iv selected network and put in password and over the wifi symbol a exclamation mark appears the wifi works perfectly on my iPhone but won't with my MacBook iv turned it off and on iv tried to forget/delete the network but it won't let me? I forgot my password for my iphone 4 and it is now disabled. I am trying to restore it through itunes, but it say I have to put my passcode into my phone first. Is there a way to restore without using my passcode?
The instructions are in that link. Just follow them VERY CAREFULLY. Especially the part about:
Turn off your device and leave it off.
Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes. [but DON'T connect it to the iPhone yet]
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
When you see the iTunes screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 again.
When your device is connected, iTunes will open. You'll see a message saying that iTunes has detected an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in recovery mode.

is there a way to put a large amount of music on the ipod without having to keep all the files on itunes as well? I want to use my ipod as an externa drive and put all of my music on it without taking up the space on my computer. I also don't want to lose all my files everytime I plug ipod into my computer. Is this possible? Is there a way to avoid using itunes and only use the ipod as an external drive?
You cannot put music onto your iPod without using iTunes, that what iTunes is for.
It's also not a good idea to wipe the music from your computer and having it only on your iPod. We see countless posts here from people who have done just that - and then lost everything when the iPod needs a Restore. Even if you never need to Restore your iPod, what happens when you eventually replace the iPod? You'll be back here asking how to get the music from one iPod to another. That's not easy to do, we see countless posts about that too!
A much better idea is to buy an external drive (a proper external drive, not simply an iPod) and put your large amount of music onto that drive. Then point your iTunes Library to that drive. However, you need to remember two things:
You still need a backup of that Library.
Using an external drive as your iTunes Library means that the drive must be connected and ready to read before starting your iTunes programme. If it isn't, then iTunes will look on the C: drive - and you will find no music in your Library. (Once again, lots of posts about that as well!)
