Having trouble changing hyperlink color

Hey everyone. I've been working on customizing one of the default themes and I can't seem to change the color of the hyperlinks to better suit my page. The desired color only shows up when I put the mouse over the hyperlink itself, rather than being displayed as that color without being indicated. The color it is looks particularly awful with my page, so I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks.

Have you seen this resource page from Michael Wong? It might provide some hints to you. I don't know if you are trying to edit the xml or just the published css, though.

Anyways, it looks like the hyperlinks have 3 distinct states: unvisited, rollover, and visited, and the one it sounds like you want to edit is the unvisited state.

Contact Apple through iTunes Store Support, and explain that you have forgotten your 3 security questions, that you can reset your password, but doing so doesn't reset your security questions.
Remember, support will receive hundreds, if not thousands of requests per day, some from people trying it on, others with little explanation and others that are written extremely poorly. Take the time to explain your situation properly, be precise and concise, brief but comprehensive.

Do you even know how to nuke and re-set Photoshop's preferences, colorplak? Your last post seems to reveal that you don't understand what I'm talking about. Here's a link you can click on:

To re-create the preferences files for Photoshop, start the application while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
Note: If this process doesn't work for you while you're using a wireless (bluetooth) keyboard, attach a wired keyboard and retry.
Important: If you re-create the preferences by deleting the Adobe Photoshop CC Settings file, make sure that you only delete that file. If you delete the entire settings folder, you also delete any unsaved actions or presets.
Reinstalling Photoshop does not remove the preferences file. Before reinstalling Photoshop, re-create your preferences.
Note for Photoshop 14.1 and later: If you use Generator and reset your Preferences, Generator is disabled. Choose Preferences > Plug-ins to turn it back on.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with changing the country for the iTunes Store on your iPhone. For this issue, I recommend signing out and back into the iTunes Store on your iPhone:
Sign in with a different Apple ID
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores.
Tap your Apple ID.
If you see the option to Sign In, you can change your Apple ID now.
Tap Sign Out.
Enter your Apple ID and Password and tap Sign In.

If the issue persists after signing out and back in, I recommend quitting and relaunching the applications on your iPhone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting and relaunching the iTunes Store app, I recommend restarting your phone and then resetting if it's still not working:
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device until the red slider appears. Then drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

No, you don't need to change anything regarding AppleIDs. The article say's nothing about changing AppleIDs.

Make whole Text clickable (or change Hyperlink color)

Dear madams and sirs,
the issue is the following: I have some text that needs to respond to MouseClicked.
This text NEEDS to be orange - that's why i use a Text control.
Problem: it only catches a click on the strokes and not inbetween.
Possible solution: Use a Hyperlink control. But I cannot work out how to change it's color to orange.
So how on earth can I either make the whole Text clickable
OR change the color of the Hyperlink (any other way apart from css?) ?
p.s.
is it possible here to confine the search to specific forums?

After hours I finally found a way to work myself around these two still unsolved questions:
instead of the Hyperlink or Text simply take a Label, insert text, give it a color
and put a transparent Rect on top of it. The Rect does the mouse listening.
so another question arises:
Why does the Label not respond to any mouse event? In my case it did not even support the change of cursors?

Changing hyperlink color

I've put a hyperlink on a blue background and want to make it white instead. I cannot figure out how to do this. (I do know how to change colors of everything else.)

I recently discovered how to do this in iWeb & thought it might work the same in Pages. It doesn't, but I actually discovered it is easier. Select the text of the hyperlink & change the color of the text using the box on the format bar or the text inspector.

The master password protects saved passwords in Thunderbird and has nothing to do with connecting to your providers server. You need to work with your email provider if you have forgotten your email password. Go to their email help site and look for a link to reset your password.

hello all i am trying to figure out how to change the color of the links that are the top of my page in the navigation bar. i know how to do it with the ones in my text- but i cannot figure out how to do so for the ones at the top of each page in the navigation bar.

Having trouble keeping link colors consistent

I apologize if this has been posted before. I have been searching for hours for a solution and could not find one.
I have been having issues with using the "insert hyperlink" option from the banner in SharePoint. When I insert a hyperlink to text one of two results happens: the linked text appears black and a line (blue or purple, depending
on whether you have visited the link before) will appear under the text when you hover over it, OR the text appears blue or purple (once again depending on whether you have visted the link before). There does not appear to be an option to choose which
of the two results that will show up on your page. The result I get when using the insert link option is not consistent, so I end up with some links with just the underline on hover, or the full link.
My preference would be for all links to appear blue (purple after visiting), because it is much easier for users to tell what is a hyperlinked and what is not.
Any help you could provide?

Changing hyperlink color and format in numbers 3

Hi all!
I want to change the automated color (and format: underline etc.) that is assigned to hyperlinks.
In my file I use vlookup to get the email and webadresses from a different source table. In the source table, I've tried disabling the hyperlinks and give different colors. In the destination table (different sheet), it keeps reformatting the @'s and www to hyperlinks. Smart link substitutions are off..
Manually changing the text color in the destination cell doesn't work, probably because of the vlookup formula?

Turning off Smart Link Substitutions does not 'kill' existing active hyperlinks. It prevents the automatic conversion of an address that is subsequently typed or pasted.
I pasted an active hyperlink into a Numbers cell, and it remained active even though Smart Link Substitutions was off.
When I did Menu > Edit > Paste And Match Style the hyperlink was not active.
Try this. In your source table, select and copy the hyperlinks. While they are still selected, Paste And Match Style. They will still appear to be hyperlinks (blue text underlined) but will be inactive (I assume that is what you want).
See what that does to the text inserted by vlookup in your destination table.

Changing hyperlink color after clicking on it

I am wanting to use Keynote for a Jeopardy type game in a class I'm teaching in a couple weeks. I have figured out how to make the board and hyperlinks, but I would like the hyperlinks to change color on the board after I link from them. Ideally, I would have the color change to the background color so they seem to disappear. Is this possible in Keynote? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This can happen because Craigslist opens the page in a frame, so you aren't visiting the page directly.
You could try to check that if you right-click the frame and use "This Frame > Open Frame in New Tab" to see if that affects the visit state
