How do I delete an event from Calendar on iPhone 4s. Syncs with computer but does not delete event. When I follow instructions in user guide, can't do

connect your ipod to itunes and go onto your ipod options on itunes. go to photos and reselect the album you want to transfer onto your ipod.

How I can delete an event from calendar (iOS7)?? I can't find any icons, any gesture for that!!!

I've never used the calendar app until I read this, so I created a test event and then spent about 15 minutes trying to figure out how to delete it, but I finally figured it out! Here's how to do it:
1) Tap the event to bring up the info panel about it.
2) Tap "Edit".
3) A long panel will appear, letting you set all sorts of info about the event, but there doesn't appear to be any way to delete it, but...
4) Pull up on that long panel, and way down at the bottom is a red "Delete Event" button. Tap it and confirm the deletion in the message box that appears, and the event it gone!

HOW TO DELETE EVENTS FROM CALENDARS

I use my iPod rarely and only for music. I want to delete events, (birthdays, meetings etc.), from my iPod that were synced from my Outlook calendar. The iPod is a 2009 model MB598ll version 1.0.4 PC. How can I delete these events from the iPod. Also, how do I avoid future syncing to my Outlook calendar?

Look like you have duplicate calendars. Find the name of the calendar on your iPhone and the color of the event labels. Then look at your computer. Find the one with the different label/name/color. You can delete that calendar.

Try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I'm new to using Adobe Acrobat. I've just donwloaded Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and I'm trying to delete a sentence from a document. I've managed to draw a box around the text but I'm pressing the delete key and the backspace key but it won't delete the text, just the box. I'm using Windows Vista.

Anyone else having trouble deleting artists from Music in iOS6?

The 'slide to delete' function is seemingly buggy in the updated Music app from iOS6, some artists with longer names are harder to delete, others randomly don't respond. Anyone else?

Same here in SC. Also a Road Runner customer. Been working fine until Friday, the 20th. I was getting the broken links and really slow, but today (22nd) I can't even access it. I'm getting the network connection errors also. If I manually check for updates it comes back immediately that I'm running the current version, so I know the application can access the net. Then tried the store again and got the slow broken links home page again.

I am having trouble deleting apps from iOS 6.01

I have downloaded a few apps only to decide they're rubbish and want to delete them. This problem occurs on both my iPad3 as well as my iPhone 4S.
When I tap and hold the app to get it to jiggle, I then tap the 'x' to delete and iOS locks up. It won't delete the app, and I cannot go hold the home button to stop the process. The only way I can resume using my iPhone or iPad is to reset holding the home and sleep buttons.
I had this problem when trying to download Keynote, Pages, and Numbers the other day, and the only way I could delete these 3 apps to get them re-installed was to plug the devices into my MacBook and delete apps on iTunes and sync them.
It seems since 6.01 iOS update I've had issues with some apps not loading and not being able to delete apps.
Anyone else had issues too?

Yeah, I know all about the un deleatable apps. The apps I'm talking about are 3rd party apps, say for public transport in Melbourne Australia, or my earlier in the week drama Keynote, Numbers, and Pages- a problem still not resolved despite emailing Apple the crash reports.
I'm not a massive app downloader, I have less than 100. However, this problem is applicable to deleting any 3rd party app, despite restoring iOS6.
While I am not expecting to receive a solution my original post was more about anyone else having a similar problem with iOS6.0.1 since I'm not convinced it's unique to my iPhone since the same issue occurs with my iPad.
The next option is the bin. I'm done with Apple.

hmmmm. some other connection issues have been known to cause the -69, although under those circumstances people more typically get the "disk cannot be read from or written to" error message.
working on that theory, let's see if anything in this document helps:

HT4673 Having trouble deleting apps from Launchpad...

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion, and Launchpad was working fine, but then as I was editing my apps within launchpad, suddently the option to delete apps or edit folders withing Launchpad went away. The little "x's" just dissappeared.
I'm still logged in as an admin and everything, I rebooted to no effect.
Any suggestions?

photos which have been imported onto my iPad I would now like to remove, but am unable to do so. I have connected the iPad to the iMac and am in iTunes, but now what?

RB, I also have this problem on an iPad 2.
Opened the Photo tab in iTunes, made sure none of the photo options were checked, clicked Sync and Apply, and at the top "steps 1 and 2" appeared, but then that progress bar disappears every time.
THen downloaded the Wondershare app, and that didn't work either.
Is there no other way to delete all my photos?

Delete previous years events from Calendar

How does one delete events from previous years calendars?

I spent some time looking through my calendar and couldn't find any option/way to delete a whole year's entries and appointments. My suggestion is to make sure to constantly update your calendar as things occur that way you won't have to delete the events one by one. I could be wrong and there could be some special/hidden setting I don't know about to delete a whole year's entries.
