Having trouble disabling PHD (mobile accounts)

Hi,
I'm using SL server and clients, with a 'magic triangle' configuration. I created a group in Worhgroup Manager with some mobility preferences assigned (create mobile account, sync home folder on login, log-off and background)
I wanted to turn this off, so deleted the group in Workgroup manager. But the users that were in this group still behaving like mobile accounts.
Is there a folder/file in their home directory I need to trash in order to refresh the workgroup settings?
I'm a bit confused!

I'm having the same problem - same error at least. I haven't migrated any users, but this is a fresh 10.4.11 Server. All clients are 10.5.6. I'm not using mobile users. My users have home directories on the server. Every user receives the error you describe. I've scoured the web, found several suggestions, but no descriptive answers.
There are many people with this issue, but it seems that once they get it resolved they're not posting solutions. Or, at least not clear ones.
The steps I've followed in Work Group Manager (WGM) include:
1) Insuring that the Users folder can be mounted and can be shared.
2) That for each user's home folder, the permission are set using the access control list (ACL).
3) That the WGM computer lists include your machines and that they are set to always manage.
4) Unbind the clients from the Open Directory (OD) server, clear the Directory Utility (DU) preferences on each client. Reboot. Rebind to OD.
5) The server is responding normally when checking DU. Users can authenticate when using client-based home directories.

Having trouble with multiple user accounts

I am still getting used to Aperture and am having trouble with multiple user accounts on my Mac.
My wife and I have separate accounts on our Mac, and both have Administrator rights. We keep our Aperture library in the "Shared" folder, and I have made sure that both she and I have read/write capabilities on the Aperture library.
However, she has difficulty creating new projects, saving data, and viewing thumbnails in Aperture. Whenever she creates a project, it does not save into Aperture, and cannot be viewed by any user. In addition, changes she makes to photos do not save. She also cannot view thumbnails of any photos (although she can see the photos in the viewer).
Are there any changes I need to make to the user accounts so she can have all these capabilities?

Rather than having the Aperture library reside in the shared folder, keep it within a folder residing at the top level of your mac, eg.
I actually keep mine on one of my RAID disks.

As I understand, you would like to add custom refiner to refinement panel in search.
From the screenshot, you intended to add vendor name property to search refiner. I cannot find the crawled property in my environment, is it an crawled property converted from custom site column?
Here is an good article for
adding refiner in SharePoint search 2013, and it seems there is not much difference from your process. However, here are the things you could check:
RefinableString00 is in TEXT type, please make sure it matches your vendor name column.
Please try mapping all crawled properties related to vendor name to RefinableString00 and test the issue again.
Please try make managed property searchable as well.
You could also try your process on other default managed property and see if it works.

I was having trouble sending to hotmail accounts from my Earthlink account, they had me go into Mac Mail preferences and make changes (because they claimed it was Mac Mail's fault, even though the hotmail error code said it's because Earthlink is blocked by hotmail), now Mac Mail doesn't work AT ALL - any help changing the settings back to correct Mac Mail settings? I have multiple gmail accounts that are linked through gmail.
Only some open in Safari. I also had to use Firefox to access these accounts.
Today, in Safari, I secondary clicked in the address bar while the page was stuck loading. I found an option "Open URL" which I clicked on, and the account page opened quickly.
I tried this several times and so far this has always worked.
To be sure that you are clicking in the address bar, the address should be highlighted.
I know that this is several months since your post, and I do not know if you have found a solution, but I thought I would share this work around. And I hope this helps.

Having trouble setting up email accounts in the mail app?

Hi Apple community,
I am having trouble setting up my email accounts with the osX mail application. I have two accounts, an outlook and my college email through google. When I try to add the outlook account the prompt says that it cannot connect to the server and when I try my college mail i get the following prompt.
"Trying to log in to the Exchange server “autodiscover-s.outlook.com” failed. Make sure the email address and password you entered are correct, then click Continue."
Please note that my college account is run by gmail and ends in murraystate.edu

okay for your college email. Heres what you do.
Try adding your email and wait for the message to come up
Trying to log in to the Exchange server “autodiscover-s.outlook.com” failed. Make sure the email address and password you entered are correct, then click Continue."
Once it does, you will notice 2 extra boxes One says username and the other password. You will notice that the username will not have @murraystate.edu
Add this and continue and this should now be added as an email account and should be able to receive emails as normal.
For your outlook emails, I would recommend using the following article to set it up. It is fairly straightforward.

Hi, nirsa. When did you encounter this issue? Which type of connection did you use?
Do you have the latest software installed? Does your phone set with the correct date and time? This code observed when the Data Sense settings are restricting the internet usage. Make sure that you're not reaching your data limit. To check it, from the Start screen, swipe left to the app list and start Data Senseapp > Switch Restrict background data usage and/or Restrict background data usage when roaming to Off.

You should be able to login with your primary site administrator Apple ID account and see the option to transition. Have my print set up but am having trouble setting up my accounts on line. Either my e-mail is wron

Was able to set up my e-print on printer but am having problems setting up my account on-line. Keeps on telling me have wrong e-mail or password. How do I get this reset so I can start over. This issue usually occurs when you have a Snapfish.com account with the same email address as you are trying to use to create the ePrintCenter account. This should fix your problem:
1. Log onto Snapfish.com (reset password if necessary). You may skip this step if you already know your Snapfish password.
2. Go to www.ePrintCenter.com
3. Click Sign In
4. Click the blue Snapfish logo
5. Enter your Snapfish login information

I have been working with live cycle for 3 weeks now and I need to edit a form to be dynamic so that a user can select a check box and certain fields are available depending on what's selected.
ex: is user checks oper_bird than txt field oper_secur_id is available to be written in.
I have set the fields to "readOnly" initially and I am now having problems with JavaScript to disable the fields.

I removed some of the conditionals to see if the events were happening. The code is in "Init" and the functions are called respectively in the "mouseUp" for "enable" and "disable"

Okay, heres where the problem stands now:
I disabled the fields, made them "readonly", however I can not reactivate the Fields to bring them back into a "User Entered - ..." value after setting them to "readonly". I know I am getting the calculation script to work because I am changing the colors of the field depending upon input.
WorkflowUser could you you still want to take a look at the script? if you want to of course.

Still having trouble with yahoo email account

Getting user name or password incorrect message. I recently traded in my phone for a mew one, both 2nd generation. I tried reseting the password, to no avail. Posts on this topic haven't helped.

One thing that might help.
Try setting up using other instead of yahoo.
Make sure your on edge or 3g and not wifi.
Choose imap as account type when prompted.
incoming mail server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
Enter username and password
Outgoing mail server: smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com
Enter username and password
Answer no to try w/ out SSL message
Now save again and save anyway.
Now go into the account advanced settings and turn ssl off.
