Having trouble downloading applications.
I have recently been given someones old Mac and have no CDs or much information about what version this is. In trying to download the new itunes to sync with my iPhone I was instructed that I needed Mac OS 10.5 but I seem to be striking out in finding this download. I have tried 10.5.1 but this does not seem to work either.
Please help!
I don't think you have an option but to find a copy of Leopard on eBay or Amazon.
Having said that, you will eventually have to get to 10.5.8 before you can upgrade further to Snow Leopard (10.6.3 and 10.6.8).
I very much doubt your machine can get as far as Mountain Lion.
I suspect you may have to buy that elusive (or expensive) copy of Leopard ... or progress to a more up to date machine, preloaded with Snow Leopard. If you take the latter option you can always consult through these columns as to whether the machine you intend to buy will meet the minimum specs to meet your aims.

I have a new iTouch. I'm having trouble downloading iTunes. I keep getting the error message: "Apple Application Software was not found. Apple application support is required to run iTunesHelper. Please uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again. Error 2." I have uninstalled and tried installing again and get the same error message. What do i need to do?
LgInstall 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and use one of them to extract the contents of the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe installer file, then try installing AppleApplicationSupport.msi as a standalone component. Even if it won't install you may get a more useful error message as to why not.

Hello, can anyone help me out there? Im having trouble downloading itunes on my computer.
Ikeep getting a error message reading:
#1 applesyncnotifer.exe- entry point not found.
#2 the procedure entry point sqlite3-wal-checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library. sqlite3.d11.
#3 service 'apple mobile device' (apple mobile device)
failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Restart the programme all should be well
In case that your OS is (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Now paste it in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Restart the programme, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

1> Make sure you uninstall the AIR application(some drops from the prerelease program of Adobe).

The reason is that the same application exported with different certificates, and the new one conflicts with the old one. -

These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

In the Console window, select

I am having trouble downloading additional content.I t gets about 1/4 the way complete then freezes and says that it can't download the content and to check the internet connection. Checked internet connection numerous times with other devices as well as with the provder and there is nothing wrong with the connection. I have even tried streaming music at the same time I try to download the content and it still disconnects while the streaming has no problem.

I would thingk it was the email account but I can open it on my iPhone without issue.
I would've thought the link was bad but I forwarded it one of my other email accounts and it opens fine.
I have restarted, rebooted, deleated the mail account and reloaded it.
Still nothing. I have tried to save the video by clicking the "Save Video" icon when you tap and hold the video but it never saves.
Sometimes it will act like it is going to save because I get a black screen and a rotating flower in the middle of the screen and it says "Loading" but it never does anything. Other times it will just give me a message that says "Can't download attachement".
Any one have any thoughts?What is your connection via speedtest.net ?
