Having trouble downloading CS6 Master Collection Download.

It seems that everything is fine until the download is complete. Once file 1 of 2 is 6.2GB (File name MasterCollection_CS6_LS16 (1).7z) is downloaded I click to run and it says "to open this file, windows needs to know what program you want to use to open it...". The second download, 2 of 2, downloads fine and when i double click to run, a notice pops up asking if I want to run this file. I click run, and get error reading "The file archive part of Adobe CS6 Master Collection is missing. you need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe CS6 Master Collection. Please Download parts."

I placed both files into an "ADOBE" folder which I put on my desktop.
File 1:
     Type: 7z File
     Size: 6,504,448 KB
File 2:
     Type: Application
     Size: 1,031 KB
          (when I hover over the file name some addition information pops up - "file description: adobe extractor, Company: adobe systems incorporated, File Version: 1.0.2.1, Date Created: 8/15/2014, Size: 1MB")
When I click the application file (not seeing exe anywhere) I still get "The file archive part of Adobe CS6 Master Collection is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe CS6 Master Collecton. Please download all parts."

Having trouble with Adobe master collection cs5

I have tried to download this file SO
many times. I have put probly 30hours + into downloading this file which is like 4.25 g or something.
I am running windows 7 64bit.
Had no problem downloading adobe photoshop cs5 for a trial.

and none of them worked.
I even tried a turrent of the trial! (Which is way bigger than it should be so when it got to about 6 hours and only like 10% done I gave up and deleted.
Just a note. I can't have my internet on for 20 hours straight. With other downloads of this size I just have to pause over night and resume in the morning.
But this one...I pause, over night, I don't even turn my laptop off, And 10 hours later, I resume, and guess what? It starts over.
Same problem everytime.
Can someone please help or at least tell me what I am doing wrong with the pause botten?

I purchased a download copy of Adobe CS6 Master Collection and am wondering now if it is legit. It's instructions go like this.
Download from mediafire.com something called "Adobe CS6 Licence PREACTIVATION.rar"
Unpack it and run "Adobe CS6 Licence PREACTIVATION.exe"
Log onto Adobe.com and sign in using the userid [email protected] and the password included in the purchase
Go to Download CS6 products
Download the two files for CS6
Run the smaller of the two files to install the collection
When asked for a serial number enter "1325-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-3266" (obviously the "x"s were numbers)
A dialog appear during the install containing a links saying "Click on Later and Install CS6". Select it
Complete the installation
Start Photoshop
A dialog saying "Having trouble connecting to the Internet" appears. Click on the offline activation "Generate Request Code" link
Take the generated request code and send it to an e-mail address in Turkey.
The e-mail address in Turkey would reply with the response code which I could then enter into Photoshop
Does this seem legit or have I been scammed?

Hi Ned, your answer is correct. I finally connected with Adobe support and they confirmed that the version sold to me is a beta copy and not a valid product. I think that I'll go have some e-words with the seller and their craigslist ad marked as fraudulent.

Can't download CS6 Master Collection Trial on WinXP using IE7/Firfefox 14.0.1

Hi,
I've been trying to download the CS6 Master Collection trial on WinXP SP 3 using either IE7 / Firefox 14.0.1 with no success.
Adobe Download Assistant launched successfully and I could log on. However, every time I choose to download CS6, I got this error message:
Error downloading this product (Error 109). Check your network connection or destination disk. You can also use the "Reset product download" button to try to download the product again.
I've tried everything in the faq (e.g. deleting Documents and Settings\<userid>\Application Data\com.adobe.downloadassistant.AdobeDownloadAssistant\Local Store) with no success.
I've 55GB of disk space left, so disk space is not an issue.
Please help!

I am using windows 8, 64bit.
I am trying to download adobe cs6 master collection in Korean.
But when I try to do it, it does well untill about 3/4, and stops. (Error communicating with Adobe.com (Error 110).)
So I downloaded on all of the computers I have, (two windows 7s) and they also stopped at about 3/4
I tried to fix this problem with this link solution 1:

start at the top and work your way down applying applicable fixes until your problem is resolved.

"Installer failed to initialize. File not found." or "Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to missing files."
first, rename OOBE Folder to OOBE.old.
to find OOBE:
64 bit win OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
32 bit win OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
mac os: HD>library>application support>adobe>caps
mac os: USER>library>application support>adobe>OOB
if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
if you're using a dvd to install:
copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
if you're using a mac:
1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
5. Start the installation again.

Downloading CS6 Master Collection

Hi,
I am planning to install Adobe CS6 Master Collection (CS6MC) onto a Parallels 9 Windows 8.1 x64 virtual enviroment. This will be the second install of CS6MC. This first is on a Windows 8.1 desktop computer. As far as I have read, I can install CS6MC onto two computers.
However, before I do this I have a few questions I hope someon can help me with.
Firstly, could someone just confirm that I can install this CS6MC onto 2 computers.
Secondly if I download a CS6MC from Adobe, will all (or most) updates released to date be included with this downloaded version, or will I have to download all the updates once I have installed the package? I still have the DVD of CS6MC, and if the version I will download is the same as the one I have on the DVD, I may as well istall from the DVD.
Lastly, how will changing the hardware (CPU, Graphics card, etc) on my desktop computer affect my install count of Adobe CS6MC. How would I be able to sort out any activation issues casued by these hardware upgrades?

1. yes, you can install and activate on two computers concurrently. both should not be used at any one time and both to be used by you.
2. no, i don't think the updates will be rolled into the latest download but i'm not sure about that.
3. changing your graphics card won't change your install count but changing your hd or cpu will. you can always contact adobe support to reset your activation count if you're unable to deactivate yourself, http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html

Having trouble downloading Adobe Flash CS6 trial

I'm having trouble downloading the trial for Flash CS6, I download Adobe Dowload Assistant and I click on "Open" when it tells me to, but then it says "Sorry, an error has occured. This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance." I've tried dowloading it several times, restarting my computer, everything. I have a Mac OS X v10.7.5

Could you test with the below 2 steps first?
1> Install latest AIR runtime(http://get.adobe.com/air/)
2> With latest AIR runtime installed, re-install AIR applications
Another guide from colleage:
1> Make sure you uninstall the AIR application(some drops from the prerelease program of Adobe).
2> Install the latest AIR application again.
The reason is that the same application exported with different certificates, and the new one conflicts with the old one.

CS6 Master Collection trial download not available?

I have CS6 Master Collection that is currently installed on my iMac and I need to install it on my new laptop. My serial number is valid and registered with Adobe, but because this was a downloadable version only (no disc), the way it was installed was by downloading the trial version of CS6 Master and then inputting my serial number when installing on my system. It would seem as if Adobe has discontinued the CS6 Master Collection trial download.... and if so, how do I install the programs on my new laptop without a disc and without a trial download? Is there a way to get the download or a disc from Adobe?

I have CS6 master collection. I just bought a new mac and I have been continuously trying to download on the new mac but every time it gets about 20 mins from finishing the download it says the connection has timed out and I cannot resume the download. It there anything else I can do? I have went through all the steps and troubleshooting and same thing happens every time. Could I upgrade from CS6 to CC? If so how much would that cost?

We can't know. You have not told us anything about your Internet connection. Desperately scrambling for CC would be an act of foolishness and achieves nothing - how do you hope to download CC products, when you can't even get CS6? Whatever issues you have still need to be resolved, so check your Internet router, use a fixed cable instead of WLAN, tell your kids to not watch videos or download stuff while you are on the net, don't leave the building and move your mouse every now and then so your computer doesn't go into energy saving modes... Whatever does the trick...

Did you customize the installation to only install certain components? By default all of the Master Collection applications are installed. I would also recommend running the Adobe Support Advisor - http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/ to review your installation logs.

you shouldn't need to uninstall anything (and do not delete any files).
just run the master collection installer and tick/select the programs you want to install.
