Having trouble downloading secure, updated version of shockwave flash!!!

have spent about 3 hours, still doesn't work. Can't find a secure update.
I have selected a couple of updates that make no difference when I try to use Firefox. still get the same blacked message.
Am using windows XP

iTunes Support wasn't of any use to me.
I have also been having another problem - with BBC iPlayer and other video streaming not working due to insufficient bandwidth, despite my overall download speed being consistently around 50Gb. This is also affecting AppleTV downloads
I am using Virgin Media as my ISP, and was wondering whether you do as well. This might be the common thread.

It will not install your machine is close to 7 years old and the newest Flash Player will not install on that old of an Operating System.
If you have flash on there already then thats probably the best your going to get.
You can Google and see what is the latest version for your Operating System.

I bought my computer MacBook about six years ago. I am trying to download the new version of itunes. It downloads to my computer, but then asks me for my name and installer password. The options to get that password back is to install the initial disk of the computer, which I do not have anymore or restart the computer doing some sort of steps. I am clueless when it comes to computers, so if anyone can help me that would be awsome!
My computer has been running fine these past years and I would hate for the answer to be that I have to replace my MacBook for another Mac....

i see that there is no posts on people not being able to get the update. this confuses me because i can't get the update unlike everyone else.

Apple's servers are getting bombarded by people trying to download the update. The only option at the moment is to delay downloading it for a while, perhaps the middle of the night in the US, when hopefully the servers will be less busy.

I purchased Ligmddhtroom 4 about a year ago and since then, have had two laptops crash. I am now on my 3rd laptop an it did not come with a cd/dvd drive. I need to download an updated version of Adobe Flash. When I go to System Preferences, Adobe nd then Advanced, it says to download the newer version, but when I click on it, the program will not complete the download. It is VERY frustrating.

Why won't the Adobe flash successfully download the newest version? I tried going to System Preferences, Adobe Flash, Advanced, Check Now and clicking on update.

I am having trouble downloading a firefox version for windows 7 64 bit.

I cannot seem to find a version of Firefox that will run properly with my new laptop. I have a Dell Inspiron running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, an Intel core i5 2410M @ 2.30 GHz, and the AMD Radeon HD 6470M graphics card.
The Mozilla site seems to always auto select the 32 bit version of firefox 6. Does any one out there have a suggestion for a download site that will allow me to select a 64 bit version?

Is anyone having trouble downloading the trial version of Lightroom 4?

I have been trying to download the trial verson of Lightroom 4 however the download button appears not to be working on the trial download page - When I click on it nothing happens. I checked to see if I was able to download CS6 and Elements and that was fine (I didnt go through with the download) I have tried all the links of the forum that people have suggested but with no success. I have Windows 7 so I dont think thats the porbem, I have allowed pop ups and checked my security - any ideas/ advice would be great as I really want to try the programme before purchasing it.

Can you use any different web browser like Firefox, Chrome etc and then check.
