Having trouble installing t43 help files

I just acquired a t43 Thinkpad (1871). I am trying to restore the help files v4.52 from the lenovo web site. I downloaded the installation file 70th43us.exe and ran the install file. The installer runs and extracts the files to the c:\driver\win folder. There are no entries in the start menu, no entries in the add or remove programs. When I go into the folder the installer copied the files into I can start the help program but none of the links work. Did I miss something in the install process or is the install file defective. Otherwise the laptop runs perfect.

I'm having trouble installing a *.msi file created under Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2005 on a Windows 7 machine. The problem occurs when I attempt to provide a directory for installation, but the installation wizard always defaults to the C: root
folder. I can always move the created files and folders from the *.msi wizard to a directory of my choosing and run the tool
successfully. But, I'm confused has to why the *.msi wizard always defaults to the C: root.
I have tried running the *.msi file in administrative mode using the various published methods but none of those methods are made available, in fact they are all disabled. I.e. right click the *.msi file has a disabled "Run as Administrator"

unsuccessful.

download both, place both in the same directory and click (or double click) the exe.

There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both free in the GooglePlay store.

You may be able to load the OS from your other MBP disks, if they are the same modal MBP...
You could also do a clone of your other MBP to the blank one, use Carbon Copy Coner and a FireWire cable.

those symptoms can sometimes be caused by pop-blockers or web acceleration software.
if you switch off all your pop-up blockers and/or accelerators, does the download start for you?

Run Windows or find a Mac version of the software or buy a Windows computer.

Install the Apple Boot Camp software. Purchase Windows 7 or Windows 8. Follow instructions in the Boot Camp documentation on installation of Boot Camp, creating Driver CD, and installing Windows. Boot Camp enables you to boot the computer into OS X or Windows.

VirtualBox is a new Open Source freeware virtual machine such as VM Fusion and Parallels that was developed by Solaris. It is not as fully developed for the Mac as Parallels and VM Fusion.
Note that Parallels and VM Fusion can also run other operating systems such as Linux, Unix, OS/2, Solaris, etc. There are performance differences between dual-boot systems and virtualization. The latter tend to be a little slower (not much) and do not provide the video performance of the dual-boot system. I am having trouble installing Lion on a partitioned hard drive
I have three internal HD's The first I am running the system on 10.6.8 (which is up to date) , the second I do most of my work on and the third I have partitioned into two and I am trying to install Lion on one of the patitions.
But Lion has decided it will only go on the first HD.
Above is the one I want to put it on, but it's not available and I can't change the partition scheme. None of the things the directions state are usable??
What might I be doing wrong?

Thanks again for a rapid responce.
I finally got lion on one partition and my daily "SilverKeeper" backup on the other.
Since the only thing I had on the two partition Hard drive was the back up and since the backup would get put on tonight any way I changed the drive to no partitions. This gave me the ability to choose the GUID option, which I did and then I installed two partitions and successfuly istalled Lion on one of them. I even tied Lion into the iCloud successfuly.
But I am not out of the woods yet! I brought My brand new iPad to lunch and was informed that my iPad was synced to my Lion at home and I was on the cloud. That blew my mind, I was impressed.
I then read the Daily news with out problem, however, when I shut down my iPad, that was all she wrote. I can not get the iPad back on. The best I could do was see the revolving gear start and then freeze. It's on charge now and I can not even get rid of the frozen gear.
Not sure this all has anything to do with the recent installation on my main computer, but it's mighty suspicious.

I could really use Customer Service help. I received Photoshop Elements as a gift for Christmas...I waiting until i got a new laptop so that I could use that as i was having trouble with older computer. However, I am having trouble installing the software...I swear the dvd added the programs, and I saw them in files explorer i think, but then I cannot find or I was not even able to add the serial number to my knowledge, because it was blank...no keystrokes were shown...and i don't see the program anywhere...Could I have down something wrong and it is somewhere in the cloud?

I'm having trouble installing photoshop cc through the creative cloud app. My PC is windows 8, I'm sure that's not a problem, right? It takes a long time to move up every percent and then after 10% it says that it failed to install nothing else. Another time it just said error. I need help please! I need this program ASAP! For Users Having Trouble Installing...

If you are having trouble installing and have access to either another Mac or can Boot your old OS, try installing Pacifist from http://www.charlessoft.com/
Then pop your Leopard disc into it and open the disc using the third button on the main menu
It will scan the disc when it shows you a list of packages hit the "Verify" button at the top of the window. Then go do something for another 30-45 mins. When you get back it will show a detailed list of files missing, or that don't exist.
I am missing 124,891 files according to the report and 20,000 of my files have different checksums. I know that my disc is DOA and I recommend that if you are having that problem as well, to schedule and Appointment and get your disc exchanged.
