Having trouble making a textarea readonly in Netscape

I have a jsp page with a textarea that I want to disable or make read only, however the "disabled" and "readonly" attributes of textarea only seem to work in IE not in netscape. Any one have any ideas how to disable in netscape?

Hi,
In the onfocus event of the text area, call a javascript function and then blur the focus to the text area and focus any other form elements.
Check with the following code. It works in all browsers.

[SOLVED] Having trouble making QT apps use GTK theme

Hello everyone, I'm having trouble making QT apps use my GTK theme in openbox.
Some apps seem to work just fine but others don't.
^Such as above, as you can see VLC is working, as is qtconfig, but k9copy and k3b are not.
I've did the suggestions that are listed in the wiki. (http://tinyurl.com/ybhb7yr)
And even rebooted after I did them, still no go.
My .gtkrc-2.0 file simply contains:
gtk-theme-name="Clearlooks_blackblue"
gtk-icon-theme-name="Tango"
Does anyone have any ideas why it's not working with k9copy and k3b/how to fix it?

The problems include:trying to move an image farther to the left & also to remove too much vertical space, trying to remove "AAAs tht show up on a webpage table even they don't show on the local file that was put, a webpage that I cant see on the website even though it was put & appears in the remote files folder. Thanx for your response and commenting on our homepage. I wasn't aware of the problems you mentioned. However it has ranked on the first page of Google, etc for 20 years, so that's not my concern at this point.
The 2 most immediate things are getting rid of the A"s showing up on the table on oilfiltercrushers/truck_ofc.aspx and on /defaultnew.aspx , (the intended home page when I get it fixed,) I get a server error highlighting line 293
&nsp;
. Im not sure what to do about that...
I hope you can help me with this. If its more convenient, you can call me at 414-651-4636. I'll pay you for your input.

I'm having trouble making TM work with my new iMac. I have an external drive, Freeagent GoFlex Drive, that is recognized on the desktop and in the drive utility. Time machine just "spins it's wheels" and doesn't seem to transfer any information. I have run repair disk on both drives and repair permissions. Any ideas how I can make this thing work?

Did you format the HD first. It has to be formatted to Mac OS Extended (Journaled). If you're not sure how to do this please read:

Having trouble making an in app purchase on iPhone, Help?

Having a problem making an in app purchase off a game I have downloaded on my iPhone.
Using my TD VISA DEBIT too make the purchase (basically works as a pre paid visa credit card).
The price of the in app purchase is $19.99, and I've entered in my billing information 100% correctly (have re checked about a dozen times as it kept saying its invalid!).
Now that I've tried to make the purchase around 10 times, a pop up comes up on my phone that reads somewhat along the lines of "Your Payment method was declined, please contact iTunes support to continue your purchase".
Which well.. Brings me here as the 1-800 number that I can call for my area is currently closed!
(And yes, I do have the enough money on the card lol just so that's out there!)
Please help me figure this out, even if there is a way I can make it get billed to my phone bill (ROGERS) then I don't mind doing it that way either. Just want to make this purchase and be done with it!

There are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage. There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.
I would just wait it out - I'm sure it will be sorted out soon.

Having trouble making DVD

I made this great movie in Imovie. It was made of photos and video run together of a trip I took recently. I had trouble figuring out how to make a DVD of the project. Finally I imported it to IDVD. The photos and music came through but the video that was in Imovie did not. Is there and easier way to burn the project to DVD?

The prescribed method for producing DVD's from imovie projects is to export them to the media browser and then open them by clicking on the media button in iDVD.
You may however be experiencing other issues and it may be that the source video you imported into imovie may be incompatible with imovie. What was the compression type of the video files you have used?

Having trouble making background image editable in template

Hello this is my first time so here goes...
I would like to make a template from a page I have created,
the trouble is the background image is url background image placed
in css with text over the image, the problem I have is on further
pages I would like to keep same divs
but would like the freedom to change text and bground image.
I have tried to make text an editable region which works and
bground image make attribute editable but I do not really
understand how this works any ideas would be much appreciated here

Having trouble making a Facebook "Like Us" plugin look good.

I'm having troulble getting a Facebook "Like Us" link to look good on a site I built. It seems that no matter where I insert the code for the plugin it just doesn't fit or look right.

If I put the plugin in the rightside div it extends past the box. If I put in in the footer it isn't centered. As you can tell, I'm not a master with code and aren't sure how to make this fit properly. Ideally I'd like to put it in the rightside div but is there a way to line-break the text "American Friends of Lafayette" or somehow shorten the width to make it fit the div box? Alternately, how can I center the plugin in the footer so at least it looks presentable?
Any suggestions welcome.

I want to create a document/spreadsheet (whichever) that I can send to agencies to type in information for work projects. Any ideas? I have an Excel file but it does not convert over very well and I am having trouble making changes to it.

Need to create a new spreadsheet or be able to edit the one I have.
I use this spreadsheet as a work order form for social service agencies. They enter name address etc., and then there are various work projects that they can select as well.
The one I have from the organization I work with is an excel file but it does not convert over very well. Instead of being 7 pages it is more like 11 or so because things run off the page. I am trying to delete certain things and move them over but not working out very well so thought it might be easier to start over fresh.
Is numbers the program to use? If so, any useful tips?

If the form is going to be used on an iPad, Numbers is the only game in town.
Numbers is available for Macs only (and iOS devices). Excel is available for PCs and Macs. If you are in a mixed environment of Windows PCs and Macs and you are using this document as an electronic form, Excel is probably the better choice. Otherwise you will need to export to Excel for the PC users then import from Excel to retrieve their data. The import/export process is not perfect. A file that has been exported then reimported will not be the same as the original file. I would assume social services agencies are almost entirely PC-based.
If the form is to be printed or turned into a PDF for distribution and use by the social services agencies, either Excel or Numbers would do the job but right now Excel might be the better choice. I would have recommended Numbers '09 but I cannot recommend Numbers 3 for anything thsat requires printing until they give us the layout and printing functionality we used to have (editing in Print View, ability to set margins, etc).
If everything else in your department/operation/agency is Windows PC and Microsoft Office based, you would be better off sticking with the standard.

Having trouble making HD space...

My iMac G5 has a 160 GB hard drive, with only 23 GB left: so I'm trying to make some room. My movies folder takes the most space, 60 gigs.. but there's nothing I can do about that.
But my music folder takes 20GB, which is odd since my iTunes library is only 6GB. Upon further inspection, I found that I had two 'iTunes Music' folders, each with ~9.6GB of music in them.. I don't want to delete anything and then regret the decision the next minute- and I have no USB hard drive I can make a backup on.
Can someone recommend what I do to remedy this situation-- software or disk cleaning techniques/utilities?

Where is the photo that you are clicking on? Are you working in Editor or Organizer? Which version of PSE?

Why am I having trouble making any download helper work?

I have a new MacBook Air. I have tried downloading several Download Helpers to download videos from YouTube, but none seem to work. When I downloaded the product "Dowload Helper" I did see an icon on the tool bar. When I would open Firefox I would see it in color momentarily, then it would "ghost". It would never activate or spin on any videos.

It keeps saying "Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed" and when entering the given URL, it just leads here which doesn't help as much. Any similar issues to this? It's been quite bothering since I just only need it then and there. Any way to resolve this?
