Having trouble opening StuffIt Pro 2 privacy violation

Unable to open StuffIt Pro 2 due security issue. It says the app can't be downloaded as its not compatible with Apple????

Apparently the word Stuffit (a brand or product name, owned by smithmicro) is what threw me.
This name had long following in the Mac community especially even in the old MacOS days.
The name of the company &/or product you appear to refer to seems to be this:

If the above is correct, they have a support web site page and you may be able to ask directly
concerning support issues or problems with their product, in Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.2.

If you have an actual download from them that does not open, you may need to try an
un-archiver or utility that opens files. Usually the native software will open a legal or
secure file, then you can decide to override any OS X safety to install it, as needed.

I open Word documents on my Mac using Pages and textedit without any problems.
I also have a copy of OpenOffice and it can also open Word documents without any problems.
Could you please provide more details on exactly what you mean when you say you having troubles opening Word documents? What kind of troubles?

Use Software Update to update your os and anything else that needs to be updated. Repair permissions and restart your computer when done.
Not sure if your new Mac came with 10.7.2 pre-installed as you make no mention of your os system.

Why am I having trouble opening my gmail account on safari? It's driving me crazy! =(

Can anyone help me? I have been having trouble opening my gmail account with Safari this week. I had to download firefox in order to check my email. It's terrible!

I have multiple gmail accounts that are linked through gmail.
Only some open in Safari. I also had to use Firefox to access these accounts.
Today, in Safari, I secondary clicked in the address bar while the page was stuck loading. I found an option "Open URL" which I clicked on, and the account page opened quickly.
I tried this several times and so far this has always worked.
To be sure that you are clicking in the address bar, the address should be highlighted.
I know that this is several months since your post, and I do not know if you have found a solution, but I thought I would share this work around. And I hope this helps.

Having Trouble Opening TIFF Files

I'm having trouble opening TIFF files into Camera Raw. I have checked all my settings in Adobe Bridge and everything seems to be saying that TIFF files should open in Camera Raw when I click on then int and then into photoshop when finished editing in camera raw.
I'm trying to open 32 bit HDR images saved as a TIFF file into Camera Raw, and there seems to be nothing I can do to get them there. I have tried everything I can think of. When I right click on it (cmd click I'm on a mac) the option to open in camera Raw isn't there. I have tried clicking and dragging the image into Photoshop to try and force it maybe to open into Camera Raw, and I have opened photoshop and tried opeing it up from mini Bridge. In mini bridge I have the option to open the image into Camera Raw when I click this nothing happens.
I'm not sure what else to try I'm on CS6 and Camera Raw 7.0 .

It might be that you need to update camera raw to version 8.3 by going to Help>Updates from within photoshop or bridge.
(i don't remember exactly in which version of acr that was added, but probably after version 7.0)

If the camera is fairly new then the version of ACR you have with CS5 won't be able to read those file. You'll need to upgrade to a newer version of Photoshop or use Lightroom 5.
Once a new version of Photoshop comes out Adobe does not support updating ACR from the older version of PS.

Having the exact same problem with connecting ML and Snow Leopard machines to a Windows 8.1 machine. Oddly enough, connecting and copying to/from works perfectly from a Mavericks machine, despite the problems reported about Mavericks regarding the exact opposite. Having trouble opening flash help/f1 in cs6

This is so stupid I can't get any help I need from any one I don't know what I am even doing here. Having Trouble Opening Catalog

I recently subscribed to the Adobe Creative Cloud. When the new LightRoom CC was announced, I upgraded to that from my older LR 4. Now I am having trouble opening the LR Catalog. The box that pops up says it is note writable and cannot be opened. A message under that says it could be caused by incorrect permissions. Help with figuring this out would be much appreciated.
My computer is a PC. I also tried opening a different catalog, getting a message that it needs to be upgraded. I complied, and it opened it. Then, when I went back to open the most recent catalog, it would not open. I looked at the permissions, tried to see if anything looked out of order. But I am not sure what is right and what is wrong!
Also, I have discovered that a group of photos are missing from the catalog. I can restore them from a backup, but they won't do me any good if I cannot open LightRoom! Is this a problem others have experienced - photos dropping out of the catalog?

Having trouble opening connections and reading from Bluetooth devices.

As the title states, I am having trouble opening connections and reading data from a Bluetooth device. We are using a PDA to communicate with LabVIEW. First, the Bluetooth Open Connection VI displays a timeout error half of the time. Second, when it does open, it does not read what the PDA is sending. Third, if it does allow an open connection, it will not do it a second time unless the devices are turned off.
I also have another related question. I am using a Linksys Bluetooth USB adapter, and the driver is proprietary. Labview requires the use of a Microsoft driver, and we are having problems going back and forth between the drivers. What Bluetooth receiver would you suggest using? The reason I ask is the fact that you have Bluetooth examples of client VI's. Therefore, you must use a similar device. Thank you for your time.

I'm not sure what Bluetooth receivers were used to verify the functionality of the VIs. However, I still want to help you solve your issue. Please make sure that you are running the shipping examples and let me know what version of LabVIEW, what PC OS and what PDA OS you are using. Does the Microsoft driver work for your Bluetooth receiver if you uninstall the Linksys driver?

I know you said you uninstalled iTunes but if you only uninstalled the application itself and not its components, when you re installed the issue could keep happening. I recommend using this article to uninstall iTunes and its components Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7 found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923.
After that try installing iTunes again and see if the issue is resolved.

i Have had no issues with the setup until recently.
