Go to settings/Safari/Block cookies/click - from third parties.  You can not click always - it will not let you access iTunes store
Once you complete settings do hard reset. Hold top and home buttons same time till screen goes black an comes back with apple.

    For a while now, I've been unable to open my videos app. I've tried shutting down and turning it on again but then same thing. What can I do to make it work?

    Try searching for the name of one of your videos on the iPad's spotlight search screen - swipe your first homescreen to the right, type in it's name, and if it finds it tap on it to see if it plays.
    If that doesn't work then try closing the Videos app completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Videos app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Videos app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
    A third option if the two above don't work is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

    Try a PRAM reset, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379?viewlocale=en_US and if that does not help take the MBP to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs run their diagnostics.

    If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

    I am having trouble redeeming my iTunes card on the Mac App Store....A message comes up and says, "your session has expired.  Try again."  I try again and it's the same message.  I also tried to enter the redemption code on the iTunes Store and the same message comes up or it says, "Error 5002"  I need help....I feel like I wasted my money.  and I need  a program for school.

    I open Word documents on my Mac using Pages and textedit without any problems.
    I also have a copy of OpenOffice and it can also open Word documents without any problems.
    Could you please provide more details on exactly what you mean when you say you having troubles opening Word documents? What kind of troubles?

    Hello Will,
    I know you said you uninstalled iTunes but if you only uninstalled the application itself and not its components, when you re installed the issue could keep happening. I recommend using this article to uninstall iTunes and its components Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7 found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923.
    After that try installing iTunes again and see if the issue is resolved.

    Is this a new Apple iD? If it is, and you have already set it up, then you have two options:
    1.     Temporarily put a Credit Card or Gift Card on the account to download the free app. If you put a credit card, then once you have downloaded the app, you should be able to go into your Account preferences and change the payment option to = None.
    2.     You can download the fee App, and then set up a new Apple ID.

    I can give you more info since it seems that searching through the community forums many people are having this problem. About a week or so ago everything worked fine, then when I tried to do an in game purchase it told me that this device was not supported by PayPal. I have been using PayPal with my iTunes account for many years. Not wanting to input my credit card info, yesterday I bought some iTunes gift cards. I loaded them to my account. I can sign in to both the apps store and iTunes store from my iPhone and see my credit balance. However, once I go into my game and try to purchase coins, merchandise, etc... It tells me "your purchase could not be completed" " for assistance, contact iTunes Support at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/." When I click that link it says "Connection Lost" "Cannot connect to iTunes Store". It leaves me in my game which means I am still connected to the Internet. I contacted apple support who could not help me, transferred me to iTunes support who said they fixed the issue and I would be able to make in game purchases in 30 minutes. That didn't work, contacted apple again (because I had an open call ticket) they put in another request for iTunes support to call me. Still waiting, while I can't use my money.

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.     Hi,
    Do you have Adobe Reader installed on your device? You can check it under Settings-->Apps. If Adobe Reader is installed on your device and still the pdfs open in some other app, then you might have chosen that app to be the default app for always opening pdfs. You can clear the defaults for that application. Just go to Settings-->App--->Polaris(or any other app where the files open)--->Clear Defaults. Next time you try to open a pdf, you will be presented with the options again. Hope this helps. Please let us know if you still face some issues.
