Having trouble restarting ipad 2

I just reset my ipad in an attemp to download ios 5. Now I can't get it to restart. I have the start up screen on the ipad like when I first bought it.(itunes logo with the usp cord) When I plug it up to a computer it detects the ipad but it wont sync with the computer. It detects the ipad and show a blank screen that just reads ipad. Sometimes it tells me to unplug ipad and plug it back in.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
Tip 2 - If you're updating via wifi, place your iPad close to your router to preclude getting a corrupted download.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Having trouble syncing iPad to get movies onto it.....any ideas?

For some reason I am having trouble syncing movies onto my iPad. They are in my iTunes library, I check the box hit apply/sync then nothing.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

It appears that when I sync it seems the sync is syncing the computer with the iPad not iPad with computer.
I have delegated all movies on iPad when I check some movies on iTunes it adds the purple bar at the bottom and availability of space decreases accordingly. When I hir apply/sync it goes through the process then when finishes step four the purple bar at the bottom goes and available space increases again.

What TC do you have? Model number direct from the base is a big help, it will be A1 followed by 3 numbers.. eg
A1409 Gen 4.. The new AC is A1470

Hey, i have been trying to update recently purchased ipad to ios 6, i am a developer and have registered it in portal, when it trys to update the os it says "This device is not part of the iphone developer progam. if you are a developer, please register your device in the iphone developer program portal." anyone else having this problem and or know how to solve it? i have restored the ipad to ios 5.1.1 and tryed updating it and havent had any sucess. You need to make sure that Bluetooth is activated in your iPad. It takes some times for the 2 to pair after that ... Assuming you have the Alu Keyboard and not the older White wireless keyboard (which does not work)

Having trouble restarting computer after installing iTunes

So I just finished buying my iPod Classic not too long ago. I use a Windows Vista computer (Gateway) and have attempted to install iTunes several times. Whenever I do and go to restart my computer, it stays stuck on the start-up screen. It refuses to boot up Windows. The same happens when I shut it down and try to start it back up manually. Eventually it'll give me an error saying that Windows could not start, so I go ahead and choose to let it check for problems, then it essentially forces me to do a System Restore on my computer to the point before I installed iTunes, with no iTunes installed at all. Is there anyway to fix this? o.O

Is your iPod still plugged in during this time? If so, take it out and try again. Something similar happened to me and this ended up the culprit.

If you mean sync as in put the media you have on your iPad onto your Apple TV, you will have to go to the 'Internet' section of the Apple TV, and scroll down to Photo Stream to view your photos. To stream your music from the cloud, you will need to pay a subscription to iTunes Match, which is $24.99 a year, allowing you to stream all of your music on all of your iDevices while upgrading your ripped CDs and music acquired from other sources to iTunes quality music. Or you can leave your computer on and ultilize the 'Home Sharing' feature under the 'Computers' section in Apple TV.

Portal hangs, and having trouble restarting Portal

I have the 9iAS BI and Infrastructure (ver. 9.0.2 )installed on a box with Win NT OS. Every few days, Portal and/or the rest of 9iAS will hang and stop responding completely for no particular reason.
When this happens, I first try to restart the services in OEM. Usually, this does not work becuase I cannot access the screen to restart the services. When this doesn't work, I reboot the server completely. After everything restarts, I oftentimes still cannot get Portal (& SSO) to start up. It's really the luck of the draw as to whether it will work again or not.
So, basically, I'm wondering if anyone knows
1. Why it might be hanging ?
2. Why it won't restart correctly ?

Since you're running 9iAS on a single Windows machine:
Between steps 5 and 6 I would advise waiting a few minutes. As the infrastructure starts, some processes will state that they are up when they are still starting some back-end processes. Unless these are complete, starting the middle-tier can step on these processes and corrupt 9iAS. Been there, done that. Several times.
FWIW, in my experience Portal is really unreliable on Win2K when run on a single machine ... Windows doesn't handle two separate Oracle_homes well on a single box. If you have the resources, I'd advise using two machines: one for the infrastructure and one for the middle-tier. A GB or 2 of RAM for each is also advisable.
