Having trouble with Google 2 factor authentication and Mac Calendar
Hello! I recently started using Google 2-factor authentication on my Google Apps (Pro) account, and have successfully configured my gmail settings in OS X Mail so that inbound/outbound work correctly. Here's where the problem is: OS X uses a single password in the system account settings for calendar/contacts/notes, etc, so enter the login/password once and check the boxes for what services you want to use. But Google sees these as distinctly different apps, so when I enter an app-specific password, it only registers for one (i.e.: contacts), but not for another or the rest of them (like calendar). Has anyone had experience in setting this up? How can you get app-specific passwords to work with the rest of the OS X system applications besides mail?

Unfortunately, I already tried this several times prior to posting here. The system won't let me add the same account more than once, and continues to prompt me for a password multiple times for each service.

Let me re-qualify my issue. Under my Google Calendar account I have the main calendar I originally set up when setting up my account. I then set up several other calendars under this same account such as events, work, family and so on. All the calendars showed up on my iPhone and iPad with no problem and worked great for a year and a half now until yesterday. My main calendar does still show up but the others no longer appear on my devices. Going on line to look at my Google calendar/calendars everything is fine with all of them. Any thoughts as to why they no longer show up on my iPhone or iPad? Thanks again.

I'm having trouble with importing them into iTunes and converting them at the same time. when i hold down option over the files i can't find where its supposed to say create new version. is this if you're in iTunes?
You can't do it in one step. Add to iTunes first, Once the tracks are in iTunes you may convert to a different format.

Anyone having trouble with the new update for 2010 mac book air 10.8.2 ? My 2010 Macbook Air has crashed 15times since the 10.8.2 update. Have only once since owning it.
Turned out the hardware was bad. Apple exchanged it for a new Mac Air and the new trackpad works great. Thank goodness it was a defect. If the trackpads all worked like that I would have been bummed.

Having trouble with disc space on my 120G mac air. I back up to a separate " my passport for mac" disc , but my mac is also holding approx 40G of back ups as well when ive checked what is using space. Why is this?
Ive started running iphoto from the separate passport to save space,
and put all my music into the itunes match to save space as well
but it is still saying it is almost full because of the back ups!
I should of bought a bigger mac, but i need to make do at the moment, but it is hard when it constantly has only 10G or less space left.When you use TimeMachine to back up a Mac notebook the local backups feature is automatically enabled. The local backup is just like a TimeMachine backup but it is done to the internal drive rather than an external. The important thing about local backups is that the feature is smart - as you need more drive space for your own data and applications, TimeMachine automatically culls the local backup to give you that needed space. So yes, it will look like you have very little drive space left and that the backup is 'robbing' you of needed GBs. But it really isn't.

I'm having trouble with a multi channel acquisition and download with PXI-5922
I am having trouble with getting data out from both channels of a PXI-5922. My software seems to be working, but when I do the fetch there is no data for the second channel. I am using the same format for all of the channelList inputs (0,1). I've checked the instrument handles and anything else I can think of, but this is my first time trying to collect data on 2 channels of a digitizer. Any help would be appreciated.

that there are several examples that come with the NI-SCOPE driver. They can be

NI-SCOPE Soft Front Panel.

I recently enabled google's 2 factor authentication and now can't view my youtube content/subscriptions via apple tv, presumably because of this. The account password has remained the same.
Is there a means to get around this?

I need Help, I would appreciated anything anybody could do to help me...
I`m trying to install the new software the mac os X 10.0.3 and having trouble transfering all my files form the mac os 9.2.2 classic to my new system...Do i have to erase my hard drive to do a clean install???? Could I transfer my files to my home`s computer, instead of buying a portable smartdisk hard drive of 100 Gb, and then so i could transfer my fiels back to my mac without no trouble ????
I Hope anyone could answer to my post as soon as possible, ThanksHi, John. If you weren't having trouble with Mac OS 10.0.3, it would be a major surprise. OS X 10.0.x and 10.1.x were unusable beta versions and never should have been released, in the view of most people who ever tried to run them. It would be a severe trial of your patience and a waste of your time to install 10.0.3 on your Mac.
If you want to run OS X, buy OS X 10.2.x (Jaguar), 10.3.x (Panther) or the current version, 10.4 (Tiger). All are available at reasonable prices from AppleRescue. Tiger is also available from any Apple retailer. Carefully read the system requirements for whichever version you prefer, and be sure your computer meets them before buying. If your Powerbook only has a 10GB hard drive, install a larger one (at least 40GB is sensible, since the cost per gigabyte of smaller drives is now exorbitant compared with larger units) before bothering to install OS X.
It would be most advisable to copy everything on your current hard drive to an external FireWire hard drive, then reformat and erase the internal drive before installing OS X on it. Doing so insures that your data is all safe and that your internal drive is in tip-top condition when the new OS is installed. After performing the installation, you can copy the contents of the external drive back onto the internal drive. The external drive will then be available as backup space for the entire contents of the internal drive, including OS X, all your applications, and all your data.
While OS 9 is still installed on your hard drive, check to make sure your Powerbook's firmware is up to date. It will need to be brought up to date while running OS 9, before you install OS X 10.2 or higher. Here is the updater for your 500MHz Tibook:

the cellular connection works just having issue with ipad3i did the reset of network settings.. still no good. recently upgraded to new os 6.1 version any way to go back to older version of os?

Trouble with iCloud 2 factor authentication in outlook app
I am using 2 factor authentication on my iCloud account. I recently downloaded and setup Microsoft's new outlook app on my iPhone and iPad. I find it very useful for what I like to do. I added all of my email accounts as well as dropbox and other things with no issue (gmail, outlook, and dropbox have 2 factor enabled as well). I generated a passcode for iCloud on the 'manage apple ID' site. I inputted it into the iPhone first and it worked like a charm. Then, however, I did the same thing on my iPad. Initially, I generated a new passcode, and used that for the iPad. It worked, but then when I used the iPhone I got the message "We are having trouble accessing your account. Please login again." And it brings up the window to put in the passcode. I thought it might work if I used the same password for both the iPad and iPhone but the same thing happens. As soon as I put a passcode in one the other stops working.
Some more details in case it is relevant. I use outlook on the PC as well (also uses generated iCloud passcode), and it is unaffected. As I said, I use other accounts with 2 factor, and they all work fine on both the iPad and iPhone in the same app. I am using an iPhone 6 Plus and a 4th Gen iPad, both running iOS 8.1.3. I am nowhere near the maximum generated app passwords under iCloud. I am receiving an email each time I generate a passcode and it shows up in my history. I am giving the passcodes different names.Hi,
You'll have to create an App-specific password to work around this.
Go to: https://appleid.apple.com/account/home
Select: Manage your Apple ID
Log in with your credentials and if applicable your Verification Code
Select: Password and Security
Select: Generate an App-Specific password
You'll have to give the app a name. You can use the generated password for Outlook. You can use the same password on all of your iDevices that has Outlook for iOS if applicable.

I'm having trouble with the sync all feature and i'm not sure what to do about it
i'm using Lr 5.3 on a windows 8.1 and a really fast laptop "can render movies in after effect in minutes"
the problem i'm having is when i click the sync all button and the top loading bar moves like everybody, only the pictures viewed in my bottom slider will change even if i leave it for hours and this happen with big and small number of pictures so i tried reinstalling it and that didn't work
i do a lot of timelapses and i thought maybe if i export the video they will show with the edited settings and that didn't happen and it showed the pictures that i havent moved to view blured, like the same blue when you move fast between raw pictures
so i t tried exporting them and that worked fine but takes ages, the pictures still didn't change in the viewer but all the exported pictures did and thats not helping me in my job !
FIND ME A SOLUTION please cause i'm dealing with 500-1000 picture here and i need to move the slider every 20 sec or so every picture is changed and this takes time and effort guys !It could be overheating..........thing is ....i never realy though ibooks got that hot....the ibook does not even have a cooling fan...at least my blueberry 300mhz doesn't.

Suddenly, I cannot use Google Maps on my laptop (MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard 10.6.8. It was working fine but now I just get the opening page (a map) and an error message saying "still loading? Try troubleshooting guide or switch to basic html" When I click switch to basic html, I get Google search. I tried updating all my system software but no change. I recently had some problems with Adobe Flash error messages saying I didn't have the current version. I downloaded it but I still get the message. I have no idea if this impacts basic Google Maps. I have my Java settings on. I use Intego for security and strictly limit what accesses the web. If Google changes maps to use a new program, that might be the problem but usually I get a warning from Intego if there is something banned trying to access the web. I also tried acessing GMaps with Firefox instead of Safari and that didn't work.
Does anyone have any ideas about what has changed and how to fix this. I don't have this problem at all on my desktop using Lion with the same Intego security software.

I can't find themes in iphoto '11 (9.2.1). I've readed about delete the app and reinstall after deleting the "theme" folders in the user and hd folders but...isn't any other way to fix that?. I'm afraid about losing all my photos if i delete the iPh
