Having trouble with home page buttons

I created a project that has more than 20 states so to accomodate this I used the functionality to create a custom component with sub states. However, I seem to be having a problem with the buttons on my home page (Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, etc). They work fine the first time visiting the home page and link to the first state within each custom component as I'd like them to and as I've assigned in the button properties. However, once a user clicks through all the states within a component and returns to the home page, if they click the button for that chapter again, they are directed to the last state within the component. What am I doing wrong? I have these home screen buttons configured to link to the page that represents the starting point for each chapter. If I try changing the button to configure to automatically transition to the custom component state 1 instead of a page then it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Haven't been able to call due to health issues. Hope to be able to call soon, but tried to move WiFi as much as I can. Upgraded to Quantum, so the WiFi router is connected via ethernet to the main box (if I remember correctly). Then the Gateway device is connected to the router via ethernet cable. Can I just remove that cable or do I have to set it up to be wired? I really can't move the two routers out of our bedroom. Thanks and I will hopefully be able to call within the next couple of days.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. What operating system? What version of InDesign? What happens when you insert a page (and how are you choosing to insert a page)? Does it happen with just one file, or does also happen on a clean new file?

Newbie having trouble with template highlight (button)

Stupid question I'm sure, but for the life of me I can't figure it out:
When using a template, if I change anything at all about the TYPE related to a button, or the size of the button/text group, the corresponding HIGHLIGHT gets freaky. I can't for the life of me figure out how to control where that highlight appears, or even it's size, etc. So I have these beautiful DVD menus that are marred by weird highlight bars--some of them run across two buttons.
(Yes, I figured out how to make the highlights invisible, but that defeats the whole point of course.)
Hope my question wasn't confusing. Any help would be wildly appreciated. Thanks...

Okay, let me pose a theory: Is it possible my installation is having trouble, in other words is what I'm seeing NOT normal?
Can anyone verify (it would only take a few minutes) my findings? Here are the steps: Create a brand-new project using (just to make sure we're on the same page) the Apple template called "Wedding Classical Index." Next, resize any one of the main elements (labeled "button 1," etc.). OR, change the text to two words, or modify the text size/font. When finished, hit the Simulate button and mouse over the button you modified.
Does the highlight look normal, e.g., underneath the text, etc., or has it moved to the side of the text, or changed into a vertical line, or worse?
I just want to verify that my installation isn't being screwy. Thanks to the kind soul who takes a minute to help me out with this so I can move on...

Trouble with home page being indexed

For some reason my home page isn't being indexed by Google and I can't understand why. If I put in site:thelittlethings.info/Home.html into Google it doesn't appear but it does if I go to that URL so it definitely exists in that form. If I put just site:thelittlethings.info into Google then my home page comes up but just as www.thelittlethings.info/.
I think I may have done something wrong when renaming my index file or something as this problem never used to exist. Can someone explain to me how I need to publish the site if I don't want my home page to be the first url in the nav bar because I think this is where the problem exists unless someone has a different idea. I know I have a few issues with the seo on my site but this seems to be a specific and fundamental error that I making.

It's been over a year since I updated my site and I've forgotten alot of CSS.
I duped an older page, updated the code and css and for some reason my page is broken.

What's weird is when I hit the Preview button in Dreamweaver it previews fine in Safari, but when I upload it it doesn't work.
And I have uploaded the css file......I have no idea what's going on....
The main photo is supposed to be floating right (and it's not).
And the body copy div is supposed to be staying inside another div container and it's running all the way across the page.

Having Trouble with Get & Put buttons

I am trying to set up my first web site. I have finished
placing my first page on line. But now I would like to amend the
first page slightly by "getting" the page back so that I can change
it. When I select the full files page and select "get" nothing
seems to happen. I would assume the page or part of it would appear
somewhere so that I can work on it. As it is at the moment, when I
hit "get" nothing seems to happen. Can anyone help me?

Did your wife tick the box on the Yahoo sign in page to remember her for two weeks?
It would be best two have two separate Firefox profile folders, one for each of you to prevent such problems.<br />

After the Apple logo appears, what happens then? Can you hear any sounds or if you tap on the screen, does it seem like apps can open or are you just seeing a black screen? You might have a hardware problem, but you can try restoring the software and see what happens.
Read this in its entirety before you do anything. Make sure you read the sections at the end about using recovery mode.

If it happens again then try to reload the website or clear the cache and the cookies from that website.
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.

I'm having trouble with my home button. It works when it wants to. Has anyone else had this trouble?

Try these three very basic troubleshooting steps and see if any of them help.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
This involves using fhe home button but try it anyway .....
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit all apps and restart. If you have multitouch gestures turned on, you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to the task bar.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
