Having trouble with my Macleans Magazine App in Newsstand

I just recently downloaded an Update to Maclean's Magazine in Newsstand, and now it won't download any new issues.
It asks me to submit my Apple ID and password, which I do, but won't give me any of my previous purchases, nor will it let me download my new issues until I subscribe, which I've already done.
What am I doing wrong, or do I have to wait for another update to fix this one?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

It is not you.  It is the continuing incompetence of Rogers which seems to affect most areas of their operations.  There is supposed to be a fix out by the end of the week.  Make some noise with customer service and they will add three issues to your subscription.

  • I am having trouble with the Family Feud app.

I am having trouble with the Family Feud app. It loads to a certain point then shuts down. Right after it says "Welcome to family Feud".  I've tried re-installing it by deleting in from the iPhone 3Gs, but no luck. I've deleted it from the phone, shut down the phone, deleted it from iTunes on my computer. Restarted the phone synced, re-downloaded the app, all to no avail.
And what may be related, some other apps seem slower these days. Nothing extra running in the background.
    Any suggestions? THX
    Paul

If you've jailbroke the iPhone, that could have caused the problem.
If that isn't it and the other basic stuff hasn't fixed it, you can try restoring the iPhone and setting it up as a new device.

    Very likely yes.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 if a 64 GB 4G, $99 for the other 4G iPods and $149 for a 5G. They do not fix yours.

  • Is anyone having trouble with the singing santa app?

Anyone having trouble using the Singing Santa app. It worked for me last Christmas. Can't get it to process video this Christmas. I've deleted the app and downloaded it again, but I am having the same problem.

Have you tried turning your iPod off, then back on? Or a reset, press and hold both the power and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears, about 15 seconds+/-, then release both buttons. If still no joy, try going into Settings>General>Reset tap tap Reset All Settings. If problem continues connect to your computer, make backups of the stuff on your iPod to your computer, then Restore from backup, if still not working Restore to New. then reinstall your stuff. If restore to new does not correct you may have a hardware issue, contact your Apple store or Apple Genius Bar, make an appointment and have your iPod evaluated. Good luck, Cheers.

  • I am having trouble with safari and most apps shutting down when I'm in the middle of stuff what do I need to do to resolve this?

I am havering trouble with safari and apps shutting down on me all the time what can I do to resolve this problem. Thanks :-)

Make sure you have enough free space on your iPad. With iOS 7 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free.  For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.
Also try a reset. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

  • HT1349 I am having trouble with the standard music app

I have almost totally black screen I the music app and not able to see the albums I have downloaded

Have you tried closing the Music app completely and seeing if it works properly when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Music 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Music app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • I am having trouble with buying stuff on apps on m iphone4

I put my voucher on itunes and currently have $20 on it but when I go to by anything on a pre-existing application, it is telling me that I need to download the application before I buy anything on it. But like I said, I already have the app on my phone.

  • HT5361 I am having trouble with closing the mail app so that I can shut off my laptop. the menu bar under file doesn't give me the option to quit.  that option is lister, but it is faded.  command Q will not close mail either.

I am unable to shut off my laptop because I can not close the mail app.  Command Q doesn't work. While "quit mail" shows up under FILE on the menu bar, it is faded and not a working option.  Mail appears to be frozen.  I also can not pull up the mail page despite the app being open. Clicking on the mail icon does nothing and there are no available options under the menu bar.  Help, please!  Thanks!

    Try force-quitting (command-option-esc).

  • TS4006 Hi i'm having trouble with find my iPhone app

When I open my find my iPhone app my location is way off I would like to know why... My current location is Oka in on find my iPhone app it says I'm in Hudson

I believe that the "not enough storage" would be referring to the space available on your phone (Settings > General > Usage > Storage) -- not space that you buy on iCloud. You would need to delete something from your phone in order to gain more space. You also may want to try updating the phone by connecting it to a computer and using iTunes to to the update.

  • I'm having trouble with the new reminder app for iOS 6 on my iPhone 4s.  The button for adding a reminder has disappeared. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

The button for adding a reminder seems to have disappeared.  Is this a bug or am I missing something?

It should be on the top of any list you create.  It is the Plus Sign in the upper right hand corner of the "Paper".

  • Trouble with connecting to an App and restoring In App Purchases

I am having trouble with restoring my in app purchases. I had purchased the full season for crazy night out a while back but when I got the app again after restoring the app the full season wasn't on and it is trying to charge me for it. I had also bought the fantasy date app and the multipacks and unlike crazy night out it recognizes I made the purchase but when I click restore purchases or buy pack it won't download and it says can not connect to server and for me to check my settings and try again also for the ones I do have that were free when I click play or download all videos it says it can't connect to servers and the videos don't play. Is there anything I can do to retrieve these purchases back and get the videos to play.
It's not the Internet everything else works.

ftp doesn't work well in modern network environments, and the design of the protocol itself is basically incompatible with the inclusion of firewalls in modern networks. And it transmits the authentication credentials in cleartext.
Put another way, see if ssh and particularly sftp works here (either directly via the sftp command, or via a sftp GUI tool) works for your requirements.
Failing that, [here is ftp set-up information|http://labs.hoffmanlabs.com/node/942].
If it's the DNS set-up, then here is some [DNS server set-up information|http://labs.hoffmanlabs.com/node/1436]. And your Mac OS X client will need to have access to the same DNS information your server is using.

  • I am having trouble with app updates on my iOS 5 iPhone never getting beyond the "waiting" state.

I am having trouble with app updates on my iOS 5 iPhone never getting beyond the "waiting" state. I have tried signing out/in of my account, rebooting and removing/re-installing the apps.  This started shortly after going to iOS 5 but I am not certain if that is related.  All updates that I try now are stuck in "waiting".  I also tried removing the apps and then installing via iTunes desktop sync with no improvement.  The only thing that I have not tried so far is a restore to a prior iPhone backup.  I have not been able to find anything to indciate what the updates on waiting on.  There is plenty of space on the iPhone (16gb available).  Any suggestions on what to try next?

    Hello there, Missy.
First thing I would recommend is to check your downloads queue to make sure there is not an interrupted download per the following Knowledge Base article:
iTunes: How to resume interrupted iTunes Store downloads
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1725
If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    1. From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
    2. For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
    3. Enter your account name and password if prompted.
    4. Tap the blue download arrow to resume.
If you can't complete the download on your iOS device, you can download it in iTunes on your Mac or PC and then sync it to your iOS device. You can also transfer purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer.
For Apps, you can also try tapping on the application icon to resume the download, as outline in this featured discussion:
App updates won't download on my...: Apple Support Communities
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4111336
Try tapping the App, so that it changes to Paused instead of Waiting, then tap it again to resume the install.
Make sure you don't have any paused downloads in other apps either, like the App Store or iTunes Store.
If that doesn't do it, try resetting or restoring the iPhone.
